Die Blaslufteinheiten werden damit durch den den Bremselementen zugeordneten Motor mitbewegt. Bevorzugt ist die Intensität der vom Blasrohr 17 abgegebenen Blasluft ist in Abhängigkeit von Bogenlänge und Grammatur variabel. Weiterbildend ist der Beginn und das Ende der Blasluftwirkung ebenfalls variabel, wobei die Blasluft durch einen Impuls von einem Steuerventil 16 freigegeben wird. Es wird hierbei eine Verbesserung des Anspringverhaltens und die Verminderung des Blasluftverbrauches erreicht. Insbesondere erfolgt die Zuschaltung der Blasluft in Abhängigkeit vom Druckbild bzw. Motiv. Wird in einer alternativen nicht dargestellten Variante dieser Ausführungsform ein Drehschieber zur Saugluftsteuerung für das Bremsband 9 eingesetzt, kann dieser über die Kette 20 zur Blasluftsteuerung des Blasrohres 17 genutzt werden. Dabei wird bevorzugt Blasluft aus dem Blasrohr 17 bei am Bremsband 9 anliegender Saugluft und Abschaltung bzw. Motiv vorgesehen, so dass Markierungen durch das Bremselement in bedruckten Bereichen vermieden werden. Gleichzeitig wird das Anspringverhalten des Folgebogens an das Bremselement verbessert. Mit dieser Einrichtung ist es auch möglich, Bogen 1 erst im letzten Bereich anzusaugen und zur Ablage zu bringen. Damit wird insbesondere bei Sammeldruckformen die Möglichkeit geschaffen, den Einsatz einer Mehrzahl von Bremselementen erst im wirksamen hinteren Bogenbereich auf lokal druckfreien Abschnitten vorzusehen. Durch die Steuereinrichtung kann in der Vorstufe so eine Optimierung der Druckbilderstellung bzw. der Motivherstellung bzw. -zusammenstellung erfolgen. Die Fig. 4 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform einer Bremsstation der Bogenbremse 5 mit oberhalb des Bogenförderweges angeordneter steuerbarer Blasluftdüse. Diese Bremsstation enthält einen mit dem Luftkanal 8 in Wirkverbindung stehenden Drucksensor 14, welcher mit der Steuereinrichtung in Verbindung steht. Oberhalb des Bremsbandes 9 ist ein Blasrohr 17 angeordnet, welches über ein Steuerventil 16 mit einer Blasluftzufuhr 15 verbunden ist. Über die Steuereinrichtung erfolgt die Ansteuerung der Blasluft über der Bremsstation in Abhängigkeit vom durch den Drucksensor 14 gemessenen Saugluftaufbau bzw. -abbau. Weiterbildend erfolgt eine Korrektur der Einstellung einer Greiferöffnung der Greiferwagen 3 und der Geschwindigkeit des Bremselementes entsprechend des Messergebnisses von Saugluftaufbau bzw. -abbau durch die Steuereinrichtung. Es erfolgt ein exaktes Zu- bzw. Abschalten der Blasluft und damit eine Verkürzung der Anspringzeit der Bogen 1 an das Saugband. Markierungen werden vermieden, da keine Überlappung der Bogenhinterkante des vorauslaufenden Bogens 1 durch die Bogenvorderkante des Folgebogens eintritt. Claims (13)

  1. A method for adjusting at least one brake element of a sheet brake (5) in a delivery of a sheet-processing printing press, wherein a control apparatus provides an adjustment for the brake element in dependence on at least one piece of information for covering a sheet (1) with a medium, wherein the adjustment for the brake element comprises the use of a region which is at least partially covered by a medium and extends in a sheet travel direction (BLR) from the sheet front edge to the sheet rear edge over a sub-region of the sheet width, wherein the region partially covered by the medium is a region printable by the printing press and wherein the contact of the brake element with the sheet (1) and/or a suction air of the brake element in at least one sub-region of the region covered with the medium is reduced or canceled during sheet braking.
  2. The method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the medium is not completely dried at the time of braking.
