Definitions
- the invention relates to a socket contact according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention is concerned with a method for producing a socket contact according to claim 8.
- Such socket contacts are needed to make electrical contact with a pin contact.
- Both the socket contact and the pin contact electrical conductors can be connected directly.
- the termination technique of crimping is often chosen.
- the DE 10 2010 020 346 A1 shows a contact bush with individual spring arms.
- the bush is made of solid material.
- Such a contact socket provides high contact forces with the associated pin contact. The contact force remains constant even with a multiple insertion.
- the EP 0 133 377 A2 shows a socket contact with two contact blades.
- the contact blades have a V-shape and thus two Berntonfulnesse with a contact pin.
- the US 5 135 418 A discloses a contact book with contact blades.
- the contact blades each have two raised contact pins. These two contact pins make two touch contacts per blade with a pin contact.
- the US 5,326,288 A shows a female contact with contact blades, which are bent inward in the middle region, for contacting the pin contact.
- the DE 44 11 784 A1 shows a socket with a total of five spring arms.
- the individual spring arms are notched approximately centrally in the axial direction and thereby form in each case two contact points with an inserted contact pin.
- the EP 1 729 371 A1 shows a sleeve with spring arms, wherein the front ends of the spring arms have a circumferential Sich ceremoniesswulst.
- the US Pat. No. 6,186,841 B1 shows a socket contact with six mutually curved contact blades.
- the contact blades are bent so that they form two BermmĂȘte with contact elements of certain sizes.
- the object of the invention is to propose a low-cost socket contact, which provides reliable electrical contact even after several mating cycles.
- the socket contact according to the invention is essentially formed from a hollow cylinder, in which at least one axial slot is introduced. By axial slotting at least two individual spring arms are formed.
- three axial slots are introduced into the hollow cylinder, whereby a total of six spring arms are formed.
- a number of spring arms has been found to be particularly advantageous. If more spring arms are present, the spring elements - and thus the entire socket contact - mechanically unstable. The spring arms deform slightly when inserting the pin contact and a multiple insertion with constant contact force, constant contact resistance, consistent insertion force, etc. is not possible. At least one of the aforementioned properties deteriorates after each insertion.
- each spring arm has two defined, separate contact contacts on a pin contact.
- touch contact here is meant a Berntonfeld on the spring arm, which is pressed onto the contact pin.
- the contact field can assume various two-dimensional geometries.
- a socket with spring arms according to the invention has twice the number of touch contacts with an inserted contact pin as a conventional socket.
- the contact force between the spring arms and pin contact can be divided on the individual Berntonessore, causing less wear.
- the spring arms are less stiff and bend when inserting the pin contact and / or already during transport as bulk material.
- a method for producing a socket contact described above proceeds as follows: From a cylindrical base body made of solid material in the interaction of a spin-turning method and a tumbling process material is removed from the body. In addition, there are so-called shock and RĂ€umarbeits Republice. The decision is that less material is removed in the contact area of the spring arm than outside the contact area. At least one, but preferably three, axial slot is introduced into the base body thus machined, whereby the individual lamellae are formed. The method is carried out so that the spring arm in the contact area has a greater wall thickness than outside the contact area. This manufacturing process is efficient and ensures a consistently high quality.
- the contact areas are located at the free ends of the spring elements. Characterized the contact with the inserted contact pin is generated in the vicinity of the insertion of the contact socket.
- the contact area of the spring arm is designed such that it has a point in the circumferential direction whose radius of curvature is smaller than the radius of curvature of the points on the same plane.
- the points lie on a common axial axis of the spring arm. This axial axis is referred to in this application as the axis of curvature.
- the two Touch contacts between the spring arm and contact pin are then left and right of this axis, but not on it.
- the contact region has at least two points whose radii of curvature are smaller than the radius of the pin contact to be inserted. These two points form the contact between spring arm and contact pin.
- each spring arm In the end region of each spring arm is a so-called contact area. In this contact area two Berstoffitze be formed with a plugged pin contact.
- the wall thickness of the spring arms varies in the axial direction. This can be easily realized via the manufacturing process described above. As a result, the physical properties of the individual spring arms, for example the spring constant, can be set in a targeted manner.
- the contact region Towards the contact pin, the contact region has a cover surface, which produces the contact contact with the contact pin.
- the wall thickness of the spring arms in the contact area is greatest.
- the contact region is ideally designed as a truncated pyramid with a rectangular base.
- the top surface of the pyramid includes the above-described contact areas and touch contacts.
- the base surface and the top surface of the truncated pyramid are each curved or bent. However, the curvature of the top surface and bottom surface are formed differently.
- the FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a socket contact according to the invention 1.
- the socket contact 1 consists essentially of a hollow cylinder, which is made of conductive material, such as sheet metal. Alternatively, the socket contact can be made of solid material.
- the hollow cylinder is interrupted by a circumferential thickening 2, which is arranged approximately centrally and the connection region AB and the insertion region EB separated from each other. The thickening 2 serves to position the socket contact in an insulating body of a connector.
- axial slots 3 are introduced, are formed by the individual spring arms 4.
- the ends 4a of the spring arms 4 are bent towards each other in the radial direction.
- the ends 4 a of the spring arms 4 surround the insertion opening 5 of the contact bushing 1.
- the contact regions 4b are formed as a truncated pyramid.
- connection region AB of the socket contact 1 has a connection opening 6 into which a conductor of a cable can be inserted.
- the conductor (not shown) can be connected to the socket contact via a crimping process.
- the contact area 4b is formed such that there are two points whose radii of curvature are smaller than the radius of the pin contact to be inserted (not shown). These two points form the Berntonfulnesse between spring arm 4 and contact pin.
- the contact region 4b is located in the upper region of the respective spring arm 4.
- the spring arm In the contact region 4b, the spring arm has a greater wall thickness than outside the contact region 4b. This means that the spring arm 4 forms a thickening in the contact region.
- the contact region 4b extends substantially between the axial slots 3.
- FIGS. 5a-d each show a section through the contact area of a socket contact in the radial plane.
- the shape and in particular the bent contact region 4b of the respective truncated pyramids may be different.
- the contact portion 4b is arranged at the end of each blade 4 as a kind of thickening with a certain geometric shape.
- the contact region 4b Towards the contact pin, the contact region 4b has a curved or curved cover surface, which produces the contact contact with the contact pin.
- FIG. 5a shows a female contact with six axial slots 3 and six blades 4 with a contact region 4b.
- the contact area is simply bent.
- FIG. 5b discloses a more complex contact area 4b.
- the contact area 4b is bent several times, whereby each blade 4 forms a concise notch 9. If you looked at the notches as cornerstones, the cut would form a regular hexagon here. A direct connecting line of the adjacent notches in the circumferential direction would form a hexagon as a shape.
- the embodiment of the socket contact according to FIG. 5d also shows an interesting sectional shape. Again, a notch can be seen. Looking at this notch again as an imaginary vertex, you could see a square or square. A direct connecting line of the adjacent notches in the circumferential direction would form a rectangle or square as a shape.
- FIGS. 5a and 5c are more circular.
- the slats 4 according to the embodiments 5b and 5d are bent several times.

Description
US 5 135 418 A offenbart eine Kontaktbuche mit Kontaktlamellen.
- Fig. 1
- eine perspektivische Darstellung eines Buchsenkontakts,
- Fig. 2
- eine Draufsicht auf eine Einstecköffnung des Buchsenkontakts,
- Fig. 3
- Fig. 4
- Fig. 5
