    - a reservoir (19) containing a liquid intended to be sprayed towards the hair,
    - a longitudinal housing (17) receiving an absorbing element (10) intended to be moistened with the liquid supplied by the reservoir (19), the longitudinal housing (17) and/or the absorbing element (10) being in contact with at least one electrical heating means (8, 40, 8', 23), the longitudinal housing having one or several orifices (7") for dispensing steam towards a lock of hair,
    said absorbing element (10) occupying substantially all of the volume defined by the longitudinal housing (17) and the absorbing element (10) being supplied with fluid by a flow adjustment means (6, 6') active between the reservoir (19) and the longitudinal housing (17)
    characterised in that the walls of said longitudinal housing (17) are constituted at least partially of the heating means (40) and a longitudinal open chamber (12) having said dispensing orifices (7") and forming a housing made of two separate parts.
  2. Apparatus according to the preceding claim, characterised in that said housing (17) comprises an opening enabling to replace said absorbing element (10).
  3. Apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the heating means (8, 40, 8', 9, 23) comprises a metallic block (40) integrating at least one resistance (8) and said first treatment surface (4) being arranged flush with the housing.
  4. Apparatus according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the heating means (8, 40, 8', 9, 23) comprises at least a second resistance (8').
  5. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the heating means (40) comprises an extension (41) intended to define with the longitudinal open chamber (12) the volume of said longitudinal housing (17) and to be in contact with the absorbing element (10) substantially over its entire length.
  6. Apparatus according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the extension (41) comprises fins (42) intended to fit into the counter-forms (42') of the absorbing element (10).
  7. Apparatus according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the second resistance (8') is arranged in the extension (41).
  8. Apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the heating means (8, 8', 40) comprises at least one resistance (8') arranged in a vaporisation chamber (17'), said vaporisation chamber (17') having said dispensing orifices (7") and comprising a sealing means (23) forming with the vaporisation chamber (17') said longitudinal housing (17).
  9. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the liquid is pumped from the reservoir (19) towards an inlet pipe (21) arranged in an injection passage (11) of the absorbing element (10), the inlet pipe (21) comprising liquid outlets (21').
  10. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said flow adjustment means is a positive-displacement pump (6).
  11. Apparatus according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the flow adjustment means (6) is an electric pump or a manual pump.
  12. Apparatus according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the flow adjustment means (6) is actuated by clamping of the jaws (2, 3).
  13. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the flow adjustment means is an adjustable-aperture vent (6') of the reservoir (19) of liquid, the absorbing element (10) being connected to the reservoir (19) by at least one tube (24) wherein the fluid circulates.
  14. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the absorbing element (10) can be made of at least one of the following materials: PE/PET, rock wool, artificial sphagnum, absorbent cotton, alumina foam, silica, felt.
  15. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the porosity of the absorbing element (10) ranges from 10 % to 90 %, and even from 30 % to 70 %.
