Description

The invention relates to a pluggable surge arrester according to the preamble of claims 1 and 2.

Plug-in surge arresters are for example from the DE 10 2011 013 300 A1 known. Such pluggable surge arresters are part of a device combination for protection against overvoltages. In this case, for example, a substantially U-shaped lower part is provided and a plug-in with this surge arrester. The lower part has plug contacts contacted with connecting conductors, while the pluggable surge arrester thus has corresponding plug elements. In addition, between this plug-in module and lower part acting holding means or latching means are provided, which engage in the inserted position of the parts and which are detachable by manipulation and / or unlocked to remove the plug-in module of the lower part can. If in such device combinations, the plug-in module is to be replaced or removed for maintenance purposes, so a manipulation is required in order to solve the plug-in position surge arrester of the lower part can. In the prior art is between the lower part and the pluggable surge arrester Provided spring element, which is biased when plugged surge arrester and adjusted in dissolved or unlatched holding means or locking means the surge arrester against the insertion direction in a removal position. The spring element is formed by plug contacts. This makes it possible to easily remove the surge when the latch is released, because by the spring element of the surge arrester is at least partially pushed out of the lower part (opposite to the insertion direction), so that it is taken by the user in a simple manner by hand and out of the Lower part can be removed.

In particular, this is known to form the spring element by a plug-in contact or a plug-in element which is forked or formed with resilient legs, wherein the spring element corresponding to the parts of the surge arrester in the form of plug contacts in the insertion direction have wedge-shaped tapered contact surfaces, in Insert position on the legs under resilient bias of the legs. Preferably, the wedge-like contact surfaces are formed on a solid metal contact element, which is connected to the surge arrester.

A problem that arises in this arrangement is that although the surge arrester is plugged into a suitable manner with the lower part, but in this case the wedge-shaped contact pieces can be moved when plugging in the insertion direction, so that an undesirable mechanical stress on the contact strips is effected where the wedge-shaped contact pieces are attached in particular by soldering. This is particularly disadvantageous in particular with respect to the second contact strip, because this second contact strip is guided via a corresponding contact plate to the second wedge-shaped contact piece and the connection between the contact strip and the contact plate forms a connection point which is releasable in the event of a fault, for example a solder joint. This solder joint is influenced in the handling of the pluggable surge arrester by shear forces when the corresponding wedge-shaped contact piece is inserted into the resilient contacts of the lower part.

A surge arrester of the type indicated above is known from DE 10 2008 031 917 A1 known.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a pluggable surge, which avoids a mechanical load on the connection between the wedge-shaped contact pieces and the corresponding contact strips or contact plates during the insertion process. It should Cross-sectional reductions in the contact pieces or the like or holes in these are avoided.

Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein erstes Isolierstück quer zur Steckrichtung parallel zum Längsverlauf der kurzen Schmalseite auf das erste Kontaktstück aufgesteckt ist und mit einem Steg bis unter das zweite Kontaktstück ragt und ein zweites Isolierstück quer zum ersten Isolierstück auf das zweite Kontaktstück aufgesteckt ist und mit Steckvorsprüngen in passende Ausnehmungen im Steg des erstenTo solve this problem it is proposed that a first insulating piece is attached transversely to the insertion direction parallel to the longitudinal course of the short narrow side of the first contact piece and protrudes with a web to below the second contact piece and a second insulating piece is attached transversely to the first insulating piece on the second contact piece and with plug-in projections in matching recesses in the bridge of the first

Insulating piece engages, so that both contact pieces are held immovably at least in the insertion direction and against the insertion direction of the two Isolierstücken, wherein a unilaterally open cuboid housing part is provided, in which the shell part is drawer-like inserted, wherein the insulating pieces and the housing part in mounting target position interlocking locking or locking means are provided.

An alternative solution is that a first insulating piece is placed transversely to the direction of insertion parallel to the transverse direction of the short narrow side of the contact pieces from above or below and a second insulating against the direction of insertion of the first insulating piece from below or on top of or inserted into the first insulating piece and mating recesses in the wall of the first insulating piece engages, so that both contact pieces are held immovable at least in the insertion direction and preferably against the insertion direction of the two Isolierstücken, wherein a unilaterally open cuboid housing part is provided, in which the shell part is drawer-like inserted, wherein on the insulator and the housing part in mounting target position interlocking Locking or locking means are provided.

In this embodiment, the wedge-shaped contact pieces are preferably formed as solid metal castings, which may not be integrally formed with the contact strip or may be formed with the contact plate, but are soldered thereto to produce the electrically conductive connection and mechanical connection. A first such wedge-shaped contact piece is soldered to the first contact strip, which protrudes from the short narrow side. A second such contact piece is on soldered to the angled portion of the contact plate, which in turn is guided along the long narrow side and is preferably soldered to the second contact strip, the connection of these elements is solved in case of failure of the overvoltage protection element to signal a faulty contact and to separate the current flow through the overvoltage protection element.

Thus, when plugging in the surge arrester, these wedge-shaped contact pieces do not act on the corresponding contact strips or contact sheets in such a way that they are loaded in the insertion direction, the first and second insulating piece is provided. According to the first solution indicated, the first insulating piece is attached laterally parallel to the course of the short narrow side, while the second insulating piece is plugged parallel to the plug-in direction of the pluggable surge arrester. By this locking the contact pieces are held securely in the insulating pieces and occurring during the insertion process of the surge arrester forces are absorbed by the contact pieces. These insulating pieces are in turn in the desired mounting position when the jacket part is inserted with the contact pieces in the one-sided open cuboid housing part, latched or locked thereto, so that a relative displacement of the insulating pieces relative To exclude the housing part. In normal use of the pluggable surge arrester can thus be carried out relative to the surge arrester, so that an undesirable mechanical stress associated with the contact pieces contact strip or contact plates is excluded shift of the contacts.

In the alternative solution, a first and second insulating piece is also provided. In this solution, however, the first insulating piece is attached transversely to the plugging direction of the pluggable surge arrester parallel to the transverse direction of the short narrow side of the first contact pieces from above or below. In the opposite direction, the second insulating piece is attached. In the end position, both parts are plugged together and securely held. Furthermore, a secure position retention of the contact pieces in the insulating pieces is achieved by this locking, so that occurring during the insertion process of the surge arrester forces are absorbed by the contact pieces without the contact strips are claimed by pressure forces when plugging. the insulating pieces are in the desired mounting position, when the shell part is inserted with the contact pieces in the one-sided open cuboid housing part to this latched or locked, so that a relative displacement of the insulating can be excluded relative to the housing part. In the normal use of the pluggable surge arrester so that no displacement of the contacts can be done relative to the surge arrester, so that an undesirable mechanical stress associated with the contact pieces contact strips or contact plates is excluded.

In addition, the first insulator isolates the connection area between the first contact piece and the first contact strip, so that a voltage flashover is ruled out in this area.

An advantageous for manufacturing development, which is also functionally advantageous, is seen in that both contact pieces have identical shape, in particular in the form of a cuboid flat plate, protruding from the first broad side of the wedge-shaped contact, and at the second broad side of an approximately T shaped contact piece is formed, which covers a parallel to the wedge edge of the contact edge edge of the plate with a part of its transverse web and covered with its longitudinal web part of the second broad side of the plate, wherein alternatively the outer surface of the crosspiece is connected to a leg of an L-shaped contact part, whose other leg is connected to the first contact strip, or with the longitudinal web, the bending of the contact plate of the second contact strip is connected.

According to this embodiment, both contacts can be formed identically, which is advantageous in terms of manufacturing costs. In addition, both contact pieces provide corresponding connection points for the contact strip or the contact plate.

In order to achieve a secure fixation of the first and second contact piece by means of the two insulating pieces, it is also preferred that the first insulating piece with a first and a second flat web each have an edge strip adjacent to the wedge-shaped contact of the first contact piece of the first broad side of the first cuboid plate covered, wherein the lower second flat web covers over a side adjacent to the wedge-shaped contact of the second contact piece edge strips of the first broad side of the second parallelepiped plate, and wherein the web of the first insulating piece engages below the lower peripheral edge of the second parallelepiped plate.

In order to avoid a voltage flashover between the first contact piece and the first contact strip, it is also provided that the first insulating piece has a wall which is in assembly target position in the region of the first contact piece between the longitudinal web and connected to the first contact strip leg of the L-shaped Contact part is located.

For the overall safe arrangement and mounting of the elements to each other and relative to each other is also provided that the second insulating piece has a flat webs of the first insulating piece to a common bottom wall complementary wall, are formed on the support webs, at the end edge of the first contact piece and both Abut side edges of the second contact piece, wherein the end of at least one support web forms the insertion projection, which engages in the recess of the web of the first insulating piece.

In order to perform the latching and in particular the unlatching of the surge arrester in a simple manner, in particular to allow the release of the surge arrester of the recording, it is provided that on the narrow side surfaces of the surge arrester and either on Housing part or on the first and / or second insulating piece resilient detents are formed or arranged, which serve for locking on the receptacle for the surge arrester, with additional handling surfaces are formed in the insertion direction behind the notches for releasing the locking.

With this configuration, it is possible in a simple manner to lock the surge arrester to the corresponding receptacle in the plug position. If the surge arrester is to be released from this position, the manipulating person can attack the handling surfaces and actuate them to release the detent.

Furthermore, it can be provided that the first insulating piece is approximately U-shaped and has recesses in the base of the U-shape with guides with which it can be plugged onto the plates of the wedge-shaped contacts, wherein the peripheral edges of the plates in mutually parallel guide slots the recesses are received, and that in the region of the first contact piece, a wall at the base of the U-shape is formed, which engages in a gap between the leg of the contact part and the second broad side of the plate of the first contact piece in the target position.

As a result, a simple and secure arrangement of the parts is achieved to each other, because the first insulating piece can be plugged with the recesses and guides on the plates of the wedge-shaped contacts, so that a secure position alignment and positioning is achieved. In addition, in the region of the first contact piece, a wall is formed on the base of the U-shape, which engages in a gap between the leg of the contact part and the second broad side of the plate of the first contact piece in assembly target position, so that here an isolation of the parts is achieved and a Spannungsüberschläg between these elements is prevented.

Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the first insulating piece in the base of its U-shape identifies a second recess between the contact pieces or the recesses for receiving them, in which a guide and retaining projection, which protrudes from the back of the second insulating piece, guided insertable and can be fixed, wherein in mounting target position both insulating pieces together form a cover plate for the short narrow side of the mounting part, which is penetrated only by the wedge-shaped contacts of the two contact pieces.

Through this design, it is possible in a simple manner, the second insulating piece on the put on the first insulating piece and fix it.

A preferred embodiment is also seen in that the housing part has recessed side surfaces, on the peripheral edges of latching or holding projections are formed and the first insulating U-shaped and on the legs of the U-shape has recesses for engagement of the latching or retaining projections , wherein the recessed side surfaces are filled in assembly target position by attached to the legs moldings having protruding notches and externally operable handling surfaces.

The molded parts are thus no longer an integral part of the housing part, but separately manufactured elements, which are preferably connected to the insulating piece in particular plug-connected. This makes it possible to manufacture in a simple manner, the moldings as separate elements in different color scheme and combine with the entire element, the gaps between the moldings and the corresponding parts of the housing part can be made very narrow, at least narrower than when Moldings integral components of the housing part would be. Also, the assembly is thereby facilitated overall. Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and described in more detail below.

In FIGS. 1 and 2 a complete pluggable surge arrester is shown. This includes a cuboid shell part 1, which encloses an overvoltage protection element. At its one short narrow side 2 exits a first contact strip 3, which is connected to a first wedge-shaped contact piece 4. The connection is realized for example by a soldering. This contact piece 4 protrudes from the short narrow side 2. At the one long narrow side 5 of the shell part 1, a second contact strip 6 exits, which is connected to a contact plate 7 via a contact point opening in the event of an error, for example, a solder joint. The contact plate 7 is guided on the long narrow side 5 to the short narrow side 2 and goes into an angled portion 8, with a second wedge-shaped contact piece 9 is connected. This connection is preferably in the form of a soldering. The second wedge-shaped contact piece 9 is arranged in the assembly target position with a lateral distance from the first contact piece 4 in the same orientation as this projecting from the short narrow side 2.

To a displacement of the contact pieces 4.9 when inserting the surge arrester in a to prevent corresponding lower part, a first insulating piece 10 and a second insulating piece 12 are provided. The first insulating piece 10 is attached according to the movement arrow 35 laterally, parallel to the course of the short narrow side 2 on the first contact piece 4 and projects with a web 11 to below the second contact piece 9. The second insulating piece 12 is in the direction of the movement arrow 36 transverse to the first Insulating piece 10 attached to the second contact piece 9. The latter engages with plug-in projections 13 in matching recesses 34 in the web 11 of the first insulating piece 10 a.

As in particular from FIGS. 1 and 2 can be seen, a unilaterally open cuboid housing part 14 is provided, in which the shell part 1 according to a drawer FIG. 1 from the bottom is inserted.

At the insulating pieces 10,12 and the housing part 14 interlocking latching or locking means 15,16 are provided in assembly target position. In FIG. 2 If only the means 16 are shown on one side, on the opposite longitudinal side a similar training is provided. In the FIGS. 7 and 8 Again, only the locking means 15 are shown on one side of the insulating piece 12. The insulating piece 10 has opposite to the side surface just such locking means 15, as in FIG. 4 is shown.

By this configuration, it is ensured that both contacts 4.9 are at least held in the direction of insertion 37 of the surge arrester, but preferably also against the insertion direction 37 immovable.

Both contacts 4.9 have identical shape. In particular, they have a shape of a cuboid flat plate 17, protruding from the first broad side 30 of the wedge-shaped contact 18. At its second broad side 23, an approximately T-shaped contact piece 19 is formed, which covers a parallel to the wedge edge of the contact 18 peripheral edge 20 with a portion of its cross bar 21 and covers with its longitudinal ridge 22 a portion of the second broad side 23 of the plate 17. As in FIG. 10 For example, shown, the outer surface of the crossbar 21 is connected to a leg 25 of an L-shaped contact member 26, the other leg 27 is connected to the first contact strip 3. In the execution according to FIG. 9 is connected to the longitudinal ridge 22, the bend 8 of the contact plate 7 of the second contact strip 6.

The first insulating piece 10 covers with a first and second flat web 28,29 in the desired mounting position next to the wedge-shaped Contact 18 of the first contact piece 4 located edge strip of the first broad side 30 of the first parallelepiped plate 17. The lower second flat bar 29 is guided over a next to the wedge-shaped contact 18 of the second contact piece 9 edge strip of the first broad side 30 of the second cuboid plate 17 overlapping. The web 11 of the first insulating piece 10 extends below the lower peripheral edge of the second cuboid plate 17, which has the second contact piece 9.

Furthermore, the first insulating piece 10 has a wall 31 which is located in mounting collage in the region of the first contact piece 4 between the longitudinal web 22 and the leg of the L-shaped contact part 26 connected to the first contact strip 3. As a result, a voltage flashover is avoided in this area.

The second insulating piece 12 has a flat webs 28,29 of the first insulating piece 10 to a common bottom wall complementary wall 32 are formed on the support ribs 33 which abut in assembly target position on the end edge of the first contact piece 4 and on both side edges of the second contact piece 9 , The ends of two support ribs 33 have the plug-in projections 13 which are in the Recess 34 of the web 11 of the first insulating piece 10 engage.

Analogously to the drawing, the connection of the first contact piece 4 and the second contact piece 9 with the contact strips 3 and 6 is first prepared. Subsequently, the first insulating piece 10 according to FIG. 5 fitted and subsequently the second insulating piece 12 according to FIG. 6 been added. The insulating pieces are as individual elements in the FIGS. 7 and 8 shown. It then results in the state of manufacture FIGS. 3 and 4 , This element is then inserted into the housing part 14 and locked in this, so as to give the situation as in FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown.

In the FIGS. 11 to 19 a variant is shown in which the same components are provided with the same Bezugsbezifferung. Only the different parts are marked in different numbering. In this embodiment, unlike the first embodiment, a first insulating piece 110 is attached transversely to the plug-in direction 37 parallel to the transverse direction of the short narrow side 2 on the first contact pieces 4.9 from above or below. A second insulating piece 112 is inserted counter to this direction of insertion of the first insulating piece 110 from below or from above on or in the first insulating piece 110 and engages in at least one matching recess in the wall of the first insulating piece 110, so that both contacts are 4.9 held either immovable in the direction of insertion 37 or even against this direction of insertion 37 of the two Isolierstücken 110,112. In this case, in turn, a unilaterally open cuboid housing part 14 is provided, into which this casing part 1 can be inserted like a drawer. On the first insulating piece 110 and on the housing part 14 interlocking locking or locking means 15,16 are provided in the assembly target position.

On the narrow side surfaces of the surge arrester and either on the housing part 14 or on the first and / or second insulating piece 10,12; 110 resilient catches 38 are formed or arranged, which serve for locking on the receptacle for the surge arrester. In addition, handling surfaces 39 are formed in the insertion direction 37 behind the detents 38, which serve to release the latch by means of manual operation.

Like, for example FIG. 14 it can be seen, the first insulating piece 110 is approximately U-shaped and has recesses 41 with guides 42 in the base of the U-shape. Hereby it is on the plates 17 of the wedge-shaped Contacts 18 plugged in the insertion direction 40, wherein the peripheral edges of the plates 17 are taken in the mutually parallel guide slots of the recesses 41.

In the region of the first contact piece 4, a wall 43 is formed on the base of the U-shape, which engages in a gap between the leg 27 of the contact part 26 and the second broad side 23 of the plate 17 of the first contact piece 4 in assembly target position. This is an insulation achieved in this area.

In addition, the first insulating piece 110 in the base of its U-shape has a second recess 44 between the contact pieces 4,9 and the recesses 41 for receiving them, into which a guide and retaining projection 45, which projects from the back of the second insulating piece 112 , guided insertable and fixable. Again, the mounting direction with the movement arrow 36, for example, in FIG. 15 specified. In the assembly target situation, as for example in FIGS. 16 and 17 is shown, the two insulating pieces 110,112 together form a cover plate for the short narrow side 2 of the shell part 1, which is penetrated only by the wedge-shaped contacts 18 of the two contact pieces 4.9.

The housing part 14 has recessed narrow side surfaces in this embodiment, on the peripheral edges of latching or retaining projections 15 are formed. The first insulating piece 110 is U-shaped and has on the legs of the U-shape recesses 16 for engagement of the latching or retaining projections 15.

The recessed side surfaces of the housing part 14 are filled in assembly target position by attached to the legs of the first insulating piece 110 moldings 46, sitting almost gap-free in the corresponding recess of the housing part 14 and thus are movable transversely to the housing part 14. The protruding detents 38 and the manually operable handling surfaces 39 are provided on this shaped part 46.

The moldings 46 can be highlighted in color, since they are separate plastic parts. Of course, the housing part 14 as well as the insulating pieces 110,112 is a plastic molding.

Due to the configuration of the mold parts 46 as separate elements, the slot-like clearances between these serving as an actuating tab moldings 46 and the housing 14 can be made very narrow, so that a nearly gap-free design is possible. The mold parts 46 are suitably received and held on corresponding receptacles in the legs of the first insulating piece 110.
