Description

L'invention concerne un appareil nettoyeur de surface immergée à jet d'eau propulsif. The invention relates to a submerged surface cleaner with a propellant jet of water.

The propellant submerged surface submerged surface cleaning apparatuses usually comprise water jet propulsion means generating a propellant jet of water, and means for orienting the propellant jet of water adapted to allow orienting said water jet in two opposite, so-called longitudinal, directions of propulsion capable of conferring on the cleaning apparatus two opposite directions of movement along an axis of displacement.

Such cleaning apparatus, in particular described in the patents FR 2896005 or FR 2586054 , simply comprise a turbine or a nozzle supplied either by onboard motor means or by the discharge circuit of the pond filtration system, and constitute a range of apparatus designed to move on the bottom wall of the basins, the price of which This cost is notably lower than the cost price of sophisticated equipment designed to move on the bottom wall and the side walls of the basins.

However, by design, these cleaning devices prove to be incapable of systematically guaranteeing a complete sweeping of the entire surface of the basins without requiring human intervention. Indeed, particularly in certain situations such as the end of a surface to be cleaned, positioning in the lower zone of a slope line ..., such cleaning devices can be immobilized without the possibility of unlocking other than human intervention. The patent application US2011 / 0203060 teaches a cleaning apparatus having a rotary guide adapted to propel water in several directions to allow movement of said cleaning apparatus.

The present invention aims to overcome this drawback and its main purpose is to provide a cleaning device combining the advantages of current propellant water jet devices (simplicity, low cost ...) and an effective cleaning capacity of the the entire surface of the bottom walls of the basins without requiring human intervention.

Another object of the invention is to provide a cleaning apparatus of optimized use optimally.

For this purpose, the invention aims, in the first place, a cleaning device whose means of orientation of the jet of propellant water are adapted to to orient the jet of propellant water, not only in two opposite longitudinal propulsion directions, but, in addition, in at least one third, so-called lateral, propulsion direction, in which the said jet of water is oriented in a direction secant direction relative to the longitudinal axis of movement adapted to exert a force capable of causing a pivoting by oversteering of the cleaning apparatus.

For the sake of simplicity of description, the cleaning apparatus according to the invention is described, in the present application, positioned on a bottom wall of a pool such as a swimming pool, and the terms such as above, below, superior, inferior .... must be interpreted taking into consideration such positioning.

Such a propellant jet cleaner apparatus is therefore designed to perform:
  • longitudinal displacements along the axis of displacement, according to the two directions of movement,
  • and predetermined angles of rotation functions of the time period during which the jet of water is oriented in a direction of lateral propulsion.

This cleaning apparatus can therefore carry out movement sequences incorporating longitudinal displacements and "turns" which, by means of an adequate programming of the said sequences of movements, in particular determined according to the shape and dimensions of the basins, make it possible to obtain efficient cleaning. the entire surface of the bottom wall of the basins without requiring human intervention.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the means for orienting the propulsive water jet are adapted to allow said water jet to be oriented in two opposite lateral propulsion directions that are symmetrical with respect to the axis of the jet of water. displacement.

For this purpose, the cleaning apparatus according to the invention advantageously comprises means for controlling the means for orienting the propulsive water jet capable of generating sequences of movements comprising longitudinal displacements along the axis of displacement, alternatively in both directions of travel, and turns in at least one direction of rotation.

The cleaning apparatus can thus pivot in both directions and thus has an increased movement capacity.

In addition, the orientation means of the propellant water jet are advantageously adapted, according to the invention, so that, in each direction of lateral propulsion, the jet of propellant water is propelled in the vicinity of one of the longitudinal ends of the cleaning apparatus, with an orientation at least substantially orthogonal to the axis of displacement.

Thus, in particular, when the cleaning apparatus comprises a frame carried by two sets of rotating rolling members about axes of rotation, the jet of propellant water is preferably oriented, in each direction of lateral propulsion, relative to the axis of rotation of one of the sets of rolling members.

This arrangement makes it possible to obtain maximum pivoting torque in each direction of lateral propulsion of the propellant jet of water, thus ensuring effective and rapid pivoting of the cleaning apparatus.

Furthermore, according to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the means for orienting the propellant water jet comprise:
  • a distributor rotating about another axis of rotation having a propulsion conduit extending radially relative to said axis of rotation,
  • rotary drive means of the rotary distributor,
  • and means for indexing the angular position of the propulsion duct around the axis of rotation.

In addition, the means for orienting the propellant water jet advantageously comprise, according to the invention, fixed propulsion vents:
  • arranged so as to extend in the extension of the propulsion duct of the rotary distributor, each in one of the indexed angular positions of said propulsion duct,
  • having longitudinal profiles adapted to define the orientation of the propellant water jet.

According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the water jet propulsion means comprise a radial turbine driven in rotation about the other axis of rotation by motor means, and:
  • the rotary distributor comprises a suction chamber arranged to house the radial turbine, provided with a communication passage with the propulsion pipe,
  • the rotating drive means of the rotary distributor comprise deflector members of the water jet generated by the rotation of the turbine.

According to this embodiment, the suction of the water for its filtration and the creation of the propellant water jet are achieved by means of a single turbine which thus provides the two functions of filtration and propulsion.

According to this embodiment, in addition, and advantageously according to the invention:
  • the suction chamber of the rotary distributor has a feed opening opening into the upper part of said suction chamber,
  • channeling means incorporating filtration means are adapted for channeling the water between at least one suction opening in the lower portion of the cleaning apparatus and the supply opening of the suction chamber.

In addition, the rotary distributor then advantageously comprises, according to the invention, water passage openings arranged opposite the feed opening of the suction chamber and adapted, on the one hand, to be disengaged in each of the lateral propulsion positions, and secondly, to be obstructed in the two longitudinal propulsion positions.

According to this arrangement, in the lateral propulsion positions, the suction chamber is fed directly by means of the water penetrating through the upper openings of the water passage. Therefore, during pivoting, the cleaning device is not subject to the adhesion force generated by the vacuum resulting from the suction of water through the suction openings (Bernoulli effect).

In addition, during these pivoting, the feed rate of the suction chamber is independent of the filling rate and / or clogging of the filtration means. As a result, the amplitude of the pivoting remains constant regardless of this degree of filling and / or clogging, and can be determined precisely.

For the sake of simplicity of manufacture, and in particular with a view to producing these water passage openings, the cleaning apparatus advantageously comprises a cowling adapted to house the rotary distributor, in which are formed, on the one hand, the fixed propulsion vents, and secondly, lights adapted to be in correspondence with said water passage openings in each of the two lateral propulsion positions.

According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cleaning apparatus comprises a frame having the form of a frame defining a volume adapted to house a removable filtration tank enclosing the filtering means and having a lower wall in which is provided each suction opening.

In addition, the shape of the frame is advantageously adapted so that the cleaning device can be placed edge in a position allowing the removal of the filter tank. Thus, access to the filter tank and the removal and then the replacement of the latter are extremely easy.

In addition, the cleaning apparatus also advantageously comprises, according to the invention, on each side of each suction opening along the axis of longitudinal displacement, a lip extending on the edge of said suction opening. , of suitable height to delimit, above the immersed surface, a suction passage of reduced section.

This arrangement leads to accelerate the flow through the suction passages and generates, in contact with the wall of the basin, the creation of "jets of water" that effectively clean the said wall.

According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the indexing means comprise radial stop members protruding on the circumference of the rotary distributor, and an abutment member associated with actuating means able to move the said stop member between interception positions of the stop members and retracted positions relative to said stop members.

In addition, according to this embodiment and advantageously according to the invention:
  • the radial stop members and the stop member are arranged in such a way that said stop member has a first position for intercepting the stop members defining the lateral propulsion positions of the rotary distributor, and a second position for interception of the stop members defining the longitudinal propulsion positions of the rotary distributor,
  • the actuating means comprise an active state for holding the abutment member in one of its two interception positions and a passive state for holding said abutment member in its second interception position.

These actuating means are, moreover, advantageously according to the invention, of the electric power supply type and have an active state, obtained during their electrical supply, for holding the stop member in its interception position of the organs stopper defining the lateral propulsion positions of the rotary distributor, and a passive state, obtained in the absence of an electrical supply, for holding the stopper member in its intercepting position of the stop members defining the positions longitudinal propulsion of the rotary distributor.

Thus, in particular, the actuating means are electrically powered only during the pivoting phases of the cleaning apparatus, that is to say the phases of lesser duration.

As an advantageous embodiment of such indexing means:
  • the stop members defining the lateral propulsion positions of the rotary distributor are offset, along an axis parallel to the other axis of rotation, relative to the stop members defining the longitudinal propulsion positions of said rotary distributor,
  • the stop member consists of a lever articulated about a pivot axis orthogonal to a radial axis with respect to the other axis of rotation,
  • the actuating means comprise an electromagnet adapted to rotate the abutment member about its pivot axis.

In addition, this cover 54 is provided with a handle 55 for gripping the cleaning apparatus for transport. This handle 55 extends further parallel to the axis (x) of rotation of the wheels 5-8, and is located at the rear portion of the cover 54, so as to form an additional support base of the cleaning apparatus, in the position of the latter shown in figure 2 where it is set to sing for access to the filter tank 13.

According to the cleaning apparatus of the invention, and firstly, the rotation of the radial turbine 11 generated by the power supply of the centrifugal pump 10 causes the suction of the water inside the chamber of suction 33 through channeling means materialized on the figure 5 , comprising the conduits 16, and adapted to channel the water between the suction openings 14, 15 and the upper feed opening 34 of said suction chamber.

The flow of water sucked into the suction chamber is propelled into the propulsion duct 35 in the form of a jet of propellant water causing, on the one hand, the rotation of the rotary distributor 19 due to the presence of the elements. deflectors 36, 37, and secondly the movements, longitudinal movements and pivoting, of the cleaning apparatus.

The selection of the displacement sequences is carried out by programming the power supply means of the electromagnet 47 based in particular on the following general principles:
  • a lack of power causes a longitudinal displacement in a direction of movement,
  • an electrical pulse leads to a reversal of the direction of longitudinal displacement: the latch 45b disengages from the stop member 50, 51 against which it is initially in abutment and immediately returns to its raised position in which it is then intercepted by the stop member 51, 50 defining the other longitudinal propulsion position (sequence of Figures 7a-7b-7d-7e )
  • a power supply during a time t leads to the pivoting of the cleaning apparatus of an angle function of t, in a direction of rotation according to the previous direction of longitudinal displacement: the latch 45b disengages from the stop member 50, 51 against which it is initially in abutment and remains in its lowered position in which it is then intercepted by one of the stop members 52, 53 defining one of the lateral propulsion positions (sequence of Figures 7a-7b-7c ).

It is understood that other variations can also be envisaged and allow two successive pivoting ...

However, the most common motion sequences include:
  • a first longitudinal displacement over a predetermined length along the axis (y), in a first direction of movement,
  • a second longitudinal displacement over a predetermined length, in a direction of reverse movement,
  • and pivoting for a period of time adapted to rotate the cleaner apparatus by a predetermined angle.

By way of example, in the case of a rectangular basin, these sequences are combined so as to produce cycles comprising:
  • a first sequence adapted for the cleaning apparatus to move in both directions over a length corresponding to one of the dimensions of the submerged surface, and at the end of which it pivots at an angle of 90 °,
  • and a second sequence adapted for the cleaner to move in both directions over a length corresponding to the second dimension of the immersed surface, and at the end of which it rotates at an angle of 90 °.

It should also be noted that, as represented in Figures 9a and 9b during each pivoting of the cleaning apparatus, the two orifices 42, 43 come into coincidence with two of the orifices, in example 30, 32, of the dome 28 so that the suction chamber 33 is fed directly by means of water penetrating through the said orifices. Therefore, during pivoting, the cleaning device is not subject to the adhesion force generated by the vacuum resulting from the suction of water through the suction openings (Bernoulli effect).

In addition, during these pivoting, the supply flow rate of the suction chamber is independent of the filling rate and / or clogging of the filter tank 13. As a result, the amplitude of the pivoting remains constant regardless of this rate of filling and / or clogging and can be determined accurately.

It is therefore possible to program the pivoting so as to avoid winding phenomena of the power supply cable.

It should also be noted that, on the basis of the principle of the invention, the cleaning apparatus may be provided with two lateral propulsion vents 22, 23 as described above, but also with a single lateral propulsion mouth. 22 or 23, two lateral propulsion vents 22 (or 23) each disposed at one end of the cleaner, on the same side of the latter, or even three or four lateral propulsion vents.

Such a propellant water jet cleaning apparatus, equipped with a simple centrifugal pump 10 thus realizes:
  • longitudinal displacements along the axis (y), in both directions of movement,
  • and predetermined angles of rotation functions of the time period during which the jet of water is oriented in a direction of lateral propulsion.

Therefore, it combines the advantages of current propellant water jet devices (simplicity, low cost ...) and an efficient cleaning capacity of the entire surface of the bottom walls of the basins without the need for human intervention.
