Due to the knuckle 7 according to the invention, an additional height is achieved for the platform 6 as the cylinder 12 causes the knuckle 7 to be aligned with the outer boom 5. As noted in connection with Fig. 7 , this operational feature is also achieved without increasing the length of the lift platform 2 in its folded condition. While the inner boom 4 is vertical, the outer boom 5 can be raised to an angle of 80° in relation to horizontal.
  • Figs. 5-8 show that the outer boom 5 is activated when the inner boom 4 is in a vertical position. Nevertheless, Fig. 11 shows a possible fifth operational position where the outer boom 5 is activated as soon as the inner boom 4 is elevated over a height h at the back of the vehicle's cabin.

Claims (3)

  1. Un élévateur de plateforme (2) destiné à être monté sur un châssis de véhicule, l'élévateur (2) comprenant une base (3) conçue pour être fixée à un véhicule (1), une flèche articulée reliée de façon pivotante à la base (3), la flèche comprenant au moins un premier élément de flèche (4) et un second élément de flèche (5),
    - le second élément de flèche (5) étant relié de façon pivotante au premier élément de flèche (4) par l'intermédiaire d'une structure d'articulation (7) au niveau de laquelle les extrémités adjacentes des premier et second éléments de flèche (4, 5) sont placées de manière articulée pour pivoter autour d'axes de pivotement respectifs (8, 9),
    - les axes de pivotement (8, 9), qui établissent le pivotement mutuel des premier et second éléments de flèche (4, 5), s'étendant à travers la structure d'articulation (7),
    - la structure d'articulation (7) fournissant un décalage latéral de la position mutuelle des premier et second éléments de flèche (4, 5) telle que vue depuis le dessus de telle sorte que les premier et second éléments de flèche (4, 5) peuvent être disposés côte à côte dans une condition pliée, et
    - la structure d'articulation (7) étant conçue de telle sorte que les axes de pivotement (8, 9) pour un pivotement mutuel des premier et second éléments de flèche (4, 5) sont espacés de sorte que les extrémités respectives des premier et second éléments de flèche (4, 5) disposés dans la structure d'articulation (7) sont séparés, vus en direction des axes de pivotement (8, 9) dans n'importe quelle position de la flèche articulée, caractérisé en ce que la structure d'articulation (7) est conçue pour être positionnée angulairement par rapport au premier élément de flèche (4) par un vérin hydraulique (12) disposé à l'intérieur du premier élément de flèche (4), et lorsque le premier élément de flèche (4) est soulevé jusqu'à une position verticale, l'un des éléments suivants : la structure d'articulation (7) s'étend approximativement horizontalement et la flèche externe (5) suspendu verticalement vers le bas, et le joint d'articulation (7) fournit une extension supplémentaire de la portée horizontale maximale de la plateforme (6).
  2. Élévateur de plateforme (2) selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle le second élément de flèche (5) comprend des parties télescopiques, de préférence trois parties mutuellement télescopiques.
  3. Élévateur de plateforme (2) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le premier élément de flèche (4) comprend des parties télescopiques.
