Zum Verschließen der Öffnung 37 wird sie an der Handhabe 55 in der Figur nach links gezogen und dabei um ca. 60° gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gedreht. Die Platte 51 befindet sich dann in der in Figur 3 gezeigten Verschlussposition. Dabei taucht die Handhabe 55 in die erste Aussparung 45 im Bereich der Aufnahmenut 43. Außerdem gleitet die Rastöffnung 59 über einen an die Deckplatte 31 angeformten Rastnippel 61, so dass die Platte 51 in der Verschlussposition fixiert ist. Aus der Zusammenschau der Figuren 2 und 4 ist erkennbar, dass die Handhabe 55 in der Öffnungsposition in die zweite Aussparung 47 eintaucht. Claims (7)

  1. Drying device (1) for drying laundry comprising a processing chamber for receiving items to be dried, comprising a device (13) for generating a process air stream, and comprising an air channel (16), by means of which the process air stream is guided to and/or out of the processing chamber, an opening (37) being arranged in the air channel (16), in which opening a container (39) for receiving and dispensing a fragrance can be inserted, the opening (37) being closable in at least an approximately airtight manner by means of a closure device (49) when the container (39) is not inserted and said opening being surrounded at least in part by an edge (41) projecting from the plane of the opening, which edge has at least one recess (45, 47),
    characterised in that
    the edge (41) has two recesses (45 and 47), a handle (55) arranged on the closure device (49) plunging into one of the slots (45, 47) respectively when the closure device (49) is respectively open or closed.
  2. Drying device (1) according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the closure device (49) is locked when in the fully closed position.
  3. Drying device (1) according to either claim 1 or claim 2,
    characterised in that
    the closure device (49) comprises a slidably mounted plate (51).
  4. Drying device (1) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the opening (37) for receiving the fragrance container is arranged in a filter device (21).
  5. Drying device (1) according to claim 4, comprising a drum (5) which is rotatably mounted in a housing (3), a loading opening (7), which can be closed by a door (11), being arranged in the housing (3),
    characterised in that
    the filter device (21) occupies a portion of the cross sectional area of the loading opening (7).
  6. Drying device (1) according to claim 3 and either claim 4 or claim 5,
    characterised in that
    the plate (51) is guided in a double-walled region of the filter device (21).
  7. Drying device (1) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the closure device (49) automatically closes the opening (37) after the container (39) has been removed.
