Die Neuerung betrifft eine Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung für einen elektrischen Haushalts-Wäschetrockner mit einer durch eine Tür verschließbaren Wäschetrommel, wobei die Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung in einem der Wäschetrommel nachgeordneten Abluftkanal einsetzbar ist.The innovation relates to a lint filter device for an electric household tumble dryer with a laundry drum that can be closed by a door, whereby the lint filter device can be used in an exhaust air duct downstream of the laundry drum.
Bei einem elektrischen Haushalts-Wäschetrockner wird die feuchte Wäsche in der sich in einer oder in wechselnden Richtungen drehenden Wäschetrommel mit Hilfe von durch die Wäschetrommel in einem Luftkreis geförderten Warmluft getrocknet. Im Abluftkanal des Luftkreises ist eine Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung zum Auffangen von in der Abluft mitgeführten Wäscheflusen vorgesehen. Eine solche Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung besteht in der Regel aus einem Rahmen mit einer Siebgewebebespannung, die im Abluftkanal herausnehmbar eingesetzt ist und zur Reinigung entnommen werden kann (DE 33 04 441 C2). Es ist auch eine Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung bekannt, die als aufklappbarer, scharnierter Rahmen mit Siebgewebebespannung ausgebildet ist.In an electric household tumble dryer, the damp laundry is dried in the laundry drum, which rotates in one or alternating directions, using warm air that is conveyed through the laundry drum in an air circuit. Der Neuerung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine kostengünstige sowie ohne großen Arbeite- und Materialaufwand zu fertigende Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung mit verbesserten Filtereigenschaften für den Einsatz in Haushalts-Wäschetrockner zu schaffen.The innovation is based on the task of creating a lint filter device with improved filter properties for use in household tumble dryers that is cost-effective and can be manufactured without great effort and material expenditure.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe gemäß der Neuerung besteht darin, daß die Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung im wesentlichen aus einem Halterahmen und einem daran befestigten Filterbeutel oder Filtersäckchen besteht.The solution to this problem according to the innovation is that the lint filter device essentially consists of a holding frame and a filter bag or filter sack attached to it.

Durch die vorgeschlagene Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung läßt sich der zur Verfügung stehende eng begrenzte Einbauraum im Abluftkanal des Wäschetrockners wesentlich vorteilhafter ausnützen, wodurch der Filterwirkungsgrad erheblich verbessert wird. Infolge einer fehlenden starren Umfassung des gesamten (Filterfläche) Filters kann dieser auch in Abluftkanäle eingeführt werden, deren Lufteintrittsbereich einen geringeren Querschnitt aufweist als der anschließende Kanalweg. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist darin zu sehen, daß eine beutelartige Flusenfilter-Vorrichtung gegenüber einem Flachfilter nicht nach jedem Trocknungsvorgang einer Reinigung unterzogen werden muß, da der vorgeschlagene Flusenfilter als Flusenspeicher oder Auffangbehälter dient.The proposed lint filter device allows the limited installation space available in the dryer's exhaust air duct to be used much more effectively, which significantly improves the filter's efficiency. Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte elektrische Wäschetrockner 1 für den Haushalt hat an seiner Frontseite 8 unterhalb seiner Bedienungsblende 2 eine Beschickungsöffnung 3 für eine im Trocknergehäuse umlaufende Wäschetrommel 4, die durch eine Tür 5 verschließbar ist. Bei diesem Wäschetrockner wird die Luft zum Trocknen der Wäsche in einem geschlossenen Kreislauf im Gerät bewegt. Durch einen Ventilator (Gebläse) wird dabei die Trocknungsluft laufend umgewälzt. Dadurch ergibt sich ein größerer Zugangsbereich zum Filterbeutel 13, was die Entfernung der abgesetzten Flusen erleichtert. Zum Einsetzen des Filterbeutels 13 in den Abluftkanal 7 wird der zweiteilige Rand in gegenseitigen Anschlag gebracht, so daß der Rand des Filterbeutels allseitig dicht eingefaßt ist. Anstelle des Halterahmens bzw. 12' kann auch ein elastischer bzw. dehnbarer Rand treten. Der Filterbeutel 13 kann aus Vliesmaterial, Baumwollgewebe, Filterpapier, Siebgewebe oder anderer dazu geeigneter flexibler, luftdurchlässiger Materialien oder Gewebe bestehen. Bei Verwendung von Papier als Filtermaterial wird der Halterahmen 12 bzw. 12' zweckmäßig auch aus dem gleichen Werkstoff hergestellt. Eine solche Maßnahme ergibt den Vorteil eines sortenreines Bauteils, das bei der Entsorgung keine Schwierigkeiten bereitet. Der Filterbeutel 13 kann am Halterahmen 12 bzw. 12' durch Schweißen, Kleben, Umspritzen, Klammern oder Nähen befestigt werden. Zur Reinigung des Filterbeutels 13 wird dieser einfach umgestülpt und durch Abstreifen oder Ausklopfen von den festhaftenden Flusen gesäubert. Bei geeignetem Material wäre auch ein Auswaschen des Filterbeutels denkbar.This results in a larger access area to the filter bag 13, which makes it easier to remove the deposited fluff.
