Der erfindungsgemäße Außensteuerstand zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass er eine Unterschale, eine Oberschale und einen Stoßschutz aufweist, wobei der Stoßschutz dazu konfiguriert ist, mit der Unterschale und der Oberschale in Kontakt zu sein. Somit erfüllt der Stoßschutz zwei vorteilhafte Aufgaben - nämlich den Außensteuerstand vor mechanischen Einflüssen, wie Stößen oder Beschädigungen durch Herunterfallen, zu schützen und das Eindringen von Verschmutzungen in den Außensteuerstand zu verhindern.
