Definitions
- the invention relates to a building enveloping element with at least one holding device, preferably to be arranged in a stationary manner, which has an outer section, the outside of which is directed towards the outside of a building to be provided with the building enveloping element, with at least one film cushion, the one to be arranged on the outside of the building outer film layer and, in addition to the outer film layer, has at least one inner film layer facing the interior of the building, with at least one gas-tight, closed cavity being formed between these two film layers, which cavity contains gas, in particular air, and is anchored to the holding device with an edge section , and with at least one thermal insulating element.
- the invention relates to the use of a thermal insulating element for a building enveloping element, which has at least one holding device, preferably to be arranged in a stationary manner, which has an outer section which is directed towards the outside of a building to be provided with the building enveloping element, and at least one film cushion which has a outer film layer to be arranged on the outside of the building and, in addition to the outer film layer, has at least one inner film layer facing the interior of the building, with at least one gas-tight closed cavity containing gas, in particular air, being formed between these two film layers, and having a Edge portion is anchored to the holding device, and with at least one thermal insulating element.
- Such building enveloping elements are known and have long been used, among other things, to form membrane roof systems and membrane facade systems.
- Foil roof systems and foil facade systems are used in particular in the construction of shopping centers, sports halls, amusement parks and other commercial buildings where conventional roofing is not recommended, be it for structural, economic or visual reasons.
- the holding device usually consists of a metal profile frame to which the foil element is anchored, as a result of which the effect described can sometimes be intensified.
- the film element is designed as a film cushion, which has at least one outer film layer and an inner film layer facing the interior of the building, with a gas-tight closed cavity containing gas, in particular air, being formed between these two film layers.
- the EP 1 348 823 B1 suggest arranging a thermal insulating element within the foil cushion, which keeps the two outer foil layers at a distance, even in the area of the anchoring on the holding device. As a result, a cold bridge that previously occurred at that point is eliminated and the thermal insulating effect of the gas cushion in the film cushion is maintained until it is anchored to the holding device. This construction has meanwhile proven itself in practice.
- the invention now proposes, in a building enveloping element of the type mentioned at the beginning, the thermal insulating element with a first section on the outside of the outer section of the holding device at least a second portion on the outside of the outer edge portion of the outer foil layer of the foil cushion and thus to be arranged as the outer element.
- the thermal insulating element according to the invention protrudes beyond the holding device, which is usually a metal profile, and forms thermal insulation with the adjacent edge section of the foil cushion, as a result of which a balanced adiabatic condition is produced.
- a further advantage of the solution according to the invention is that the film cushion and the thermal insulating element do not form a constructive and structural unit, but can be manufactured and assembled independently of one another and therefore the use of the thermal insulating element according to the invention has no influence whatsoever on the construction of the film cushion and is therefore independent of This is.
- This not only simplifies assembly - because the thermal insulating element is only to be arranged on the outside of the holding device and the adjacent edge section of the film cushion - but also opens up the possibility of retrofitting existing and already installed building enveloping elements with thermal insulating elements.
- Preferred embodiments and developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
- the thermal insulating element can preferably have an insulating body made of thermally insulating solid material, preferably hard foam, and the insulating body in the area of the second section of the thermal insulating element on the outer edge section of the outer film layer of the film cushion directly or over an insulating sealing strip, preferably attached to the thermal insulating element lay up.
- This design results in an inexpensive and at the same time robust construction.
- an outer metallic layer, preferably made of aluminum, on the outside of the insulating body and/or an inner metallic layer, preferably made of aluminum, on the inside of the insulating body facing the holding device be arranged outside of the second section.
- the metallic layer(s) is (are) firmly connected to the insulating body, preferably glued.
- the metallic layer can expediently consist of a metal profile.
- a further preferred embodiment, in which the holding device has a first fastening section, on which the edge section of a film cushion is anchored, and a second fastening section, in particular approximately opposite the first fastening section, on which the edge section of a further film cushion is anchored, is characterized by this that the thermal insulating element is arranged with its first section on the outer section of the holding device between the two fastening sections and with a second section on the outer edge section of the outer film layer of one film cushion and with a third section on the outer edge section of the outer film layer of the other film cushion rests.
- building enveloping element is to be understood not only as a roof or facade element, but also as a building element separating two buildings from one another.
- a film facade or roofing system of the type in question consists of a large number of film elements arranged essentially next to one another and of a frame structure to which the film elements are anchored and which thus serves as a holding device for the film elements.
- Figure 1 shows part of a preferred embodiment of a foil roofing system in which the foil elements consist of foil cushions.
- a frame profile 2 is shown by way of example as part of the mentioned frame structure.
- a holder 4 is arranged, which consists of a base profile 4a and a cover profile 4b in the exemplary embodiment shown.
- the bracket 4 is attached to the frame profile 2, for example with the help of in 1 recognizable screws shown and shown in dashed lines, but unspecified.
- two film cushions 6 arranged next to one another are shown in sections, each of which has an upper film 8 and a lower film 9 .
- the upper film 8 and the lower film 9 form two external film layers which delimit the respective film cushion 6 and enclose a cavity 10 in a gas-tight manner. Air is blown under pressure into the cavity 10, as a result of which the upper film 8 and the lower film 9 stretch accordingly and give the film cushion 6 the desired shape. Accordingly, the upper film 8 and the lower film 9 form an air cushion between them in the cavity 10.
- the film cushions 6 also have two intermediate films 11, 12, which divide the cavity 10 into three sections.
- the film cushions 6 are anchored to the holder 4 with a peripheral edge section 6a.
- the ends of the films 8, 9, 11 and 12 are welded to form a common layer in the edge section 6a of the film cushion 6, which forms an anchoring section 14.
- the anchoring section 14 is provided with a piping rope 16 along its edge, which is enclosed by the layer formed jointly from the foils 8 , 9 , 11 and 12 .
- the foil cushions 6 are anchored to the holder 4 in such a way that their anchoring section 14 is clamped between the base profile 4a and the cover profile 4b and the piping rope 16 is arranged in a receptacle 18 formed in the base profile 4a and closed by the cover profile 4b.
- the cover profile 4b is pressed against the base profile 4a with the aid of components that are not shown.
- the structural unit formed from at least one holder 4 and at least one film cushion 6 can also be referred to as a building enveloping element.
- the top film 8 of the film cushion 10 lies on the outside of the film facade or -roofing system. Accordingly, the cover profile 4b also forms an outer section of the holder 4.
- the foil facade or roofing system in question is mainly used to separate an interior space from an exterior environment and thus to form an outer shell, in particular a roof, for a building .
- the film system in question here as a partition wall system to separate two building sections from one another or to separate two interior spaces within a building, so that in such a case in figure 1
- the arrangement shown by way of example is that of the upper films 8 of the film cushions 10 and from the cover profile 4b of the bracket 4 formed outside to the other building section or to the other interior space and thus delimits it.
- edge sections of the cover profile 4b extend beyond the base profile 4a in the direction of the film cushions 6, touching the outer edge section 6a of the film cushions 6 and thus in this area on the top film 8 of the film cushions 6 would rest; because in such a case the effect described above could be increased, not least because the cover profile 4b is made of metal.
- a thermal insulating element 20 is used, which is placed on the outside of the cover profile 4b of the support 4, as shown in FIG 1 reveals.
- the thermal insulating element 20 has an essentially plate-shaped solid body 22, the material of which has good thermal insulating properties. Hard foam can be used as the material, for example. how 1 can also be seen that the insulating solid body 22 rests with its underside 22a facing the holder 4 in the region of its edge sections 22b adjacent to the film cushion 6 via an insulating sealing strip 24 on the outside of the upper film 8 in the edge section 6a of the film cushion 6.
- the insulating sealing strips 24 are preferably made of soft foam, which is formed in the manner of foam rubber, and are preferably attached to the underside of the insulating solid body 22, in particular by gluing. Alternatively, it is also fundamentally conceivable to do without the sealing strips 24 and to establish direct contact between the top film 8 of the film cushion 6 and the insulating solid body 22 of the thermal insulating element 20 .
- the thermal insulating element 20 has an upper metal profile 26 and a lower metal profile 28, these two metal profiles 26, 28 framing the insulating solid body 22, so to speak, and are preferably made of aluminum and are attached to it by gluing.
- the top side of the insulating solid body 22 is essentially covered by the top metal profile 26, while the bottom side 22a of the insulating solid body 22 is left free by the bottom metal profile 28 in that area on which the sealing strip 24 is arranged and a thermal connection between the upper film 8 of the film cushion 6 and the insulating solid body 22 is produced.
- the thermal insulating element 20 is preferably attached to the cover profile 4b of the holder 4. The components required for this are in 1 not shown.
- the thermal insulating element 20 is usually screwed to the holder 4 . In principle, however, other fastening options are also conceivable.
- a condensate channel 30 is arranged between the profile frame 2 and the holder 4 in order to collect any condensate that may occur despite the use of the thermal insulating element 20 described above.

Description
In
Fig. 1 erkennen lässt.
Fig. 1 nicht dargestellt.
