Description

The invention relates to a device and a method for sealing between the wall and floor of the insulation in rooms.

Such rooms are on the wall and floor and depending on the application also on the ceiling equipped with insulation to minimize heat exchange with the environment. It should penetrate as little heat in the space in question and penetrate as little as possible to the outside. Preferably, the rooms are lockable to the environment. In actively cooled rooms should also be kept as low as possible by the isolation of the energy consumption associated with the cooling. Such spaces may be part of buildings or vehicles. In particular, these may be cold rooms, production rooms, processing rooms or storage rooms.

Insulation panels or wall panels are often provided to insulate the walls of said rooms, which are dimensionally stable. The wall panels may themselves form an insulating wall or insulate and clad an existing wall of a building or vehicle. Wall panels are, for example, sandwiched, wherein an insulating material between two dimensionally stable plates or layers is arranged.

The floor of the room is usually equipped with a floor insulation and a floor covering.

Liquid used, for example, to clean the room, runs down the wall panel or an insulating wall panel. At the transition between a floor of a room equipped with a wall insulation and a floor and floor covering, there is often the problem that moisture and liquid can penetrate into spaces between the wall insulation and the insulating floor covering. Although there is often a base connection or base profile in the region of the transition between wall insulation and floor covering, however, this at least in part does not have the necessary sealing in order to prevent the penetration of moisture. Between the floor of the room and existing in the room floor insulation and flooring is usually arranged a moisture barrier. Moisture or liquid penetrating from above into the floor covering can therefore only penetrate until the moisture barrier. There, the moisture is collected and discharged via a suitable drainage. At the transition between wall insulation and insulating flooring often trained as a film or mat moisture barrier is pulled up and secured together with the base terminal or base profile on the surface of the wall insulation. Therefore, if moisture penetrates at the transition between wall insulation and insulating floor covering in the area of the base connection or base profile, it can get behind the moisture barrier. From there, the moisture penetrates into areas below the moisture barrier and is not drained via drainage. This can lead to damage or impairment of the insulation layer and possibly also to damage to the building or vehicle concerned.

The US 2002/014046 A1 discloses a corner seal for buildings. The corner seal comprises a corner profile adapted to an inner or outer corner of a building with a water-repellent cover layer and a hollow body filled with sealant. The corner profile is equipped with two side wings, which are located at the two corner parts of the building abut and which are interconnected by a central part. The hollow body has a shell which can be destroyed during installation of the corner seal. When pressing the corner profile to a corner of a building, the shell is destroyed, so that the sealant is released and forms a hardening sealing layer under the corner profile. In a floor-wall connection with a joint, the elastic middle part of the corner profile is arranged freely pointing in the joint. On the bottom of an insulation, a film, an intermediate layer and a support are arranged from bottom to top. The film is pulled vertically upwards in a free-cut base portion of the wall. One of the two side wings of the corner profile is arranged with a sealing layer on the film, which is pulled in the base portion of the wall upwards. The other side wing of the corner profile is fixed to the intermediate layer on the floor. Although the corner profile ensures a seal between the wall and the floor. However, the corner profile can not prevent liquid flowing down the wall from getting behind the film.

The DE 298 08 932 U1 discloses a stretchable and permanently deformable, plasterable cover material for covering a gap in adjacent components or components. The cover material has a sealing layer which is applied to a stretchable carrier element. In this case, the carrier element is designed as a stretchable fabric or nonwoven layer having a surface for receiving hardening material. The sealing layer is made of a stretchable pressure-sensitive adhesive material whose adhesive power is such as to avoid creep of the covering material in a stretched and surface-applied condition. The cover material used in a roof construction for closing the gap between an edge portion of a wind and vapor barrier film and a surface portion of a masonry of the roof structure. The cover material is present as a strip material. Half a width of the strip material is glued to the wind and vapor barrier film and on the masonry. A seal between wall and floor is in the DE 298 08 932 U1 not revealed.

The object of the invention is to provide a device and a method for sealing wall and floor in rooms in which the penetration of moisture behind or under a moisture barrier, which is arranged on or in the floor covering, is prevented.

This object is solved by a device having the features of claim 1, by a base profile having the features of claim 12 and by a method having the features of claim 13. The device according to the invention is characterized in that at least one base element is arranged between the insulating wall panel and the floor, wherein the base element is thinner than the wall panel. The wall panel is formed as a plate and has as this a predetermined thickness. The thickness of the base member is determined in parallel to the thickness of the wall panel when base member and wall panel are installed in the field. The thickness is determined when installed in the horizontal direction. The upwardly facing side of the base element is completely covered by the wall panel. Due to the different thickness of the wall panel and the base element, the wall panel projects laterally beyond the base element. The base element is set back relative to the wall element. A moisture barrier arranged indirectly or directly on the floor extends upwards with an edge section along the base element. Above the moisture barrier, a floor covering is arranged.

The base element is elongated. It extends in the horizontal direction at the bottom over the entire width of the wall panels or wall panels.

The wall panel (s) either form themselves a wall, in particular a partition wall in the room, or are arranged on an already existing wall of the room. The wall panel preferably extends from the floor to the ceiling. The lower end of the wall panel rests on the base element or is integrally formed therewith.

The base element can be formed integrally with the wall element or form a separate component to be connected to the wall panel. In the first case wall panel and base element form a solid wall panel-base unit, which is completely installed as such at the site. The base element can be formed, for example, by removing the solid plate or layer over the entire width of the wall panel on an insulating wall plate at a downwardly pointing end on one or both sides. This creates a recess. In addition, a part of the insulating material of the wall plate may also be removed. If, in the following and in the claims, the term wall panel is used in the context of a one-piece wall panel-base unit, the term wall panel refers only to the wall panel without the base member.

If wall panel and base element are two separate components, then these can also be connected to one another only at the place of use. In particular, first the base element can be arranged on the floor and then the wall panel can be arranged on the base element.

The base element can be arranged directly on the floor or on a vapor barrier arranged on the floor, a bituminous sheet and / or a floor connection angle. A floor insulation preferably arranged on the floor extends up to the base element and is arranged with its vertically extending end side adjacent to the base element. The moisture barrier is laid flat on the floor or floor insulation placed on the floor so that it covers the floor or floor insulation upwards. The adjacent to the base element edge portion of the moisture barrier is pulled up, so that the edge portion at least partially nearly vertical is aligned. In this case, the upwardly expiring edge portion of the moisture barrier ends at the base element. Due to the dimensioning of the base member, the upper end of the edge portion of the moisture barrier may be located above the level formed by the surface of the floor covering. This prevents moisture collecting on the flooring from getting behind or under the moisture barrier.

The height of the base member measured in the vertical direction is greater than the sum of the thickness of the moisture barrier and the thickness of the flooring disposed on the moisture barrier. The thickness of the moisture barrier and the thickness of the floor covering are determined in the vertical direction parallel to the height of the base element. The floor covering may have, for example, a screed and arranged on this tile.

The distance at which the wall panel projects laterally beyond the base element above the base element is greater in the horizontal direction than the thickness of the moisture barrier. The distance in the horizontal direction is measured. Since the wall panel projects beyond the base element by more than the thickness of the moisture barrier, the edge portion of the moisture barrier which extends upwards along the base element and extends at least in sections in the vertical direction is completely accommodated along the base element and projects upwards through the base element Covered wall panel. This prevents moisture or liquid collecting on the wall panel from penetrating from behind the moisture barrier.

By wall is meant at this point and hereinafter a wall predetermined by the space or a wall formed by a wall panel in the space, for example a partition wall. With ground is meant at this point and in the following a ground given by the space. At a Wall of the room, the wall panel can be arranged for insulation. A wall panel may also be fixed to the floor of the room and form a partition wall in the room. On the ground, the moisture barrier and flooring are arranged. Optionally, a floor insulation is applied to the floor below the moisture barrier. However, a floor insulation can also be arranged above the moisture barrier.

A base profile is provided which, with a first base profile section, covers a section of the base element above the floor covering and is arranged with a second base profile section at least partially on the wall panel above the base element. The base profile prevents the ingress of moisture into the transition between wall panel and floor covering. If the floor covering consists, for example, of a screed and tiles, then the base profile can be arranged above the screed. The lower edge of the base profile can stand up on the screed and optionally a sealing tape and / or a primer. The bottom surface of the tile may be at the same level as the bottom edge of the base profile. With a second base profile section, the base profile is arranged directly on the wall panel.

If moisture penetrates between the base profile and the wall panel, it can not reach behind or under the moisture barrier, since it is completely received in the recess of the wall panel with an edge portion.

The base profile preferably has a high resistance to substances which are used and used in the relevant areas, in particular means which serve for cleaning and disinfection. Furthermore, the base profile is preferably UV and weather resistant, corrosion-free, self-extinguishing and suitable for areas where food is produced, be edited and stored. It has a hygienically smooth surface and a temperature resistance in the range of -100 ° C to + 180 ° C. A mechanical attachment with screws, nails, rivets or pins is not necessary because the base profile can be connected via a sealant or a sealing foam or adhesive to the wall panel.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base profile between the first and the second base profile section is angled at least twice. In this case, the second base profile section projects beyond the first base profile section. The first base profile section, together with the wall panel, defines a cavity which forms a receptacle for a section of the floor covering facing the base profile. The third base profile section formed by the two angled portions between the first and the second base profile section is shorter than the distance over which the wall panel projects beyond the base element. This ensures that the second base profile section bears against the outside of the wall panel, and that at the same time the first base profile section projecting behind the second base profile section is arranged below the wall panel.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the area between the wall panel and the first base profile section is completely filled by a closed-cell material. This may be, for example, a sealing compound, in particular a sealing foam.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention extends to the base element upwardly extending edge portion of the moisture barrier up to the wall panel zoom. However, it preferably ends at the upper end of the base element, so that the front side of the moisture barrier is covered by the wall panel.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the wall panel on a heat-insulating layer. Furthermore, the wall panel has at least one dimensionally stable plate or layer which covers the heat-insulating layer of the wall panel. The wall panel may also be constructed as a sandwich, wherein the insulating layer between two dimensionally stable layers or plates is arranged. The dimensionally stable layer can for example consist of plates or a planking of metal or plastic.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base element is formed free of a dimensionally stable layer. It preferably consists of a heat-insulating material.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a floor insulation is arranged on the floor. The moisture barrier is preferably arranged on the floor insulation. However, it can also be arranged below the floor insulation. In addition, a first floor insulation may be located below and a second floor insulation above the moisture barrier. In this case, the base element can rest at least indirectly on the ground and the floor insulation extend with its at least approximately vertically extending end side up to the base element, so that the end face of the floor insulation and the base element are adjacent to each other. In this case, the expansion of the base member in the vertical direction is greater than the sum of the thickness of the floor insulation, the thickness of the moisture barrier and the thickness of the floor covering. In addition, the floor insulation can also reach down to the wall and rest the base element on the floor insulation. In this case, the extent of the base member in the vertical direction is greater than the sum of the thickness of the moisture barrier and the thickness of the floor covering.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the floor covering screed and tiles. Between the screed and the tiles, an upper sealing plane may be arranged, which comprises, for example, a primer and / or a synthetic resin coating. At the transition between wall and floor, an additional sealing strip is arranged in this case, which preferably extends as far as the base element and is pulled vertically upwards along the base element. This corresponds to the arrangement of the moisture barrier in the edge region.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tiles facing the base element and / or the wall panel are equipped with a groove and extend with a portion upwards. In a preferred manner, the tile equipped with a groove ends flush with the wall panel or the base profile, so that the transition between the wall panel or the base profile and the tiles is formed edge-free.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base element forms a separate component and is connected via a wall panel connection profile with the wall panel. This may be, for example, a U-shaped profile.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base element is formed in one piece with the wall panel. Base element and wall panel together form a wall panel-base element unit, which is completely installed at the place of use. The wall panel-base unit is preferably used to insulate and trim an existing wall of a room. The base element is formed in particular by a recess in a wall panel formed as a plate on the bottom side facing. The recess extends substantially over the entire width of the wall panel on the side facing away from the wall on the ground facing the end of the wall panel. After the recess has been produced, the section of the recess is referred to as a base element, the section without a recess as a wall panel, and the unit of both as a wall panel-base element unit. The moisture barrier arranged indirectly or directly on the floor is guided upward with an edge section within the recess. Above the moisture barrier, the flooring is arranged. The length of the recess is greater in the vertical direction than the sum of the thickness of the moisture barrier and the thickness of the floor covering, wherein the depth of the recess in the wall panel in the horizontal direction is greater than the thickness of the moisture barrier. Preferably, a base profile with a first base profile section covers the recess at least partially. A second base profile section is arranged on the wall panel above the recess.

The base profile according to the invention for sealing the transition between a wall panel and a floor equipped with a moisture barrier and a floor covering in rooms with the features of claim 12 is characterized in that it has a first base profile section which at least partially covers the base element, and a second Base profile section, which can be fastened to the wall panel. The base profile between the first and second base profile section is angled at least twice. The second base profile section projects beyond the first base profile section. The section formed by the two angled portions between the first and the second base profile section is referred to as the third base profile section.

The inventive method with the features of claim 13 is characterized in that a base element arranged on the floor and a moisture barrier is applied to the floor. In this case, an edge section of the moisture barrier is arranged along the base element such that an edge section of the moisture barrier at least partially extends upward and at least partially vertically aligned. The wall panel is placed together with the base profile or after the base profile. The wall panel is in the installed state above the base profile.

A base profile is fastened to the wall panel, wherein a first base profile section of the base profile at least partially covers the base element and a second base profile section is arranged on the wall panel. A floor covering is placed on the moisture barrier, with the floor covering extending to the base profile. The base profile and the floor covering can be sealed together.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, a floor insulation is applied to the floor and applied to the floor insulation, the moisture barrier.

Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

FIG. 1 shows a portion of a wall 1 and a floor 2 of a space in the region of the wall-floor transition. The wall 1 is an already existing wall of the room. Along the wall and floor, a layer of a steam stop 3 and a layer of bitumen 4 is arranged. On the wall 1, a wall panel 5 is arranged, which serves for the insulation of the wall 1. The wall panel is sandwiched. Between two dimensionally stable plates 6 and 7 is an insulating material 8. The wall panel 5 has a wall 1 facing side 9, which is formed by the plate 6. The wall panel 5 also has a side facing away from the wall 1 10, which is formed by the plate 7. The two plates 6 and 7 are parallel to each other. The wall panel 5 is aligned parallel to the wall 1.

The wall panel 5 together with a base element 5a forms a wall panel-base element unit. Wall panel 5 and base element 5a consist of one piece. With the side 11 facing the bottom, the base element 5a lies on the layer of bitumen 4. On the side facing away from the wall 1 10, the wall panel 5 has a recess 12. Through the recess 12 in the wall panel 5, the base member 5a is formed. The recess 12 extends to the lower edge. The recess 12 is bounded by a horizontally extending portion 13 and a vertically extending portion 14. Here, the vertically extending portion 14 is parallel to the side facing away from the wall 1 side 10 of the wall panel, in particular, the vertically extending portion 14 is parallel to the plate. 7 The horizontally extending portion 13 is perpendicular to the In the region of the recess 12, the wall panel 5 is free from the plate 7. The plate 7 extends from the top to the recess and ends at the horizontally extending portion 13. The recess 12 extends into the insulating material 8 inside. As a result, the base element 5a has a smaller thickness than the wall panel 5.

On the floor 2, a floor insulation 15 is arranged above the steam stop 3 and the bitumen 4. The floor insulation reaches up to the base element 5a zoom. On the bottom insulation 15 is a moisture barrier 16. It consists of a film which is spread as a layer on the floor insulation 15. An edge portion 17 of the moisture barrier 16 is disposed within the recess 12 along the vertical portion 14 of the base member 5a. In this case, the edge portion 17 extends vertically upwards. The end of the edge portion 17 is located above the arranged on the bottom insulation 15 portion of the moisture barrier 16. It is adjacent to the horizontal portion 13 is arranged.

On the moisture barrier 16 is a screed 18. This extends to the edge portion 17 of the moisture barrier 16 and thus protrudes into the recess 12 into it. The section of the base element 5a located above the screed 18 is covered by a base profile 19. The base profile 19 has three sections. A first base profile section 20 is located within the recess 12 and sits with its lower end on the screed 18. The first base profile section thus covers at least a portion of the base element 5a and the moisture barrier 16 extending upwardly therefrom. A second base profile section 21 is located above the first base profile section 20 and offset from the first base profile section 20. With its first base profile section 20 facing away from End of the second base profile section 21 is fixed to the wall panel 5. It is the second base profile section 21 sealingly connected to the wall panel 5. The first and second base profile sections 20, 21 are parallel to each other. They run both vertically when installed. It is bounded by two angles 23 and 24 at the mutually facing ends of the first and second base profile section 20, 21. The third base profile section 22 extends horizontally. It is perpendicular to the first base profile section 20 and the second base profile section 21. The limited by the horizontal portion 13, the vertical portion 14, the screed 18 and the base profile 19 cavity can be filled with a closed-cell material.

Tiles are laid out on the screed. Screed 18 and tiles 25 together form the floor covering. The tile 25 shown in the drawing is equipped with a groove 26. The the base member 5a facing portion of the tile 25 extends upward. The upper end 27 of this upwardly directed portion of the tile 25 is disposed adjacent to the base profile 19, in particular to the third base profile section 22. In this area, the tile 25 can be sealingly connected to the base profile 19. Such a seal is not shown in the drawing.

If moisture or liquid enters the space between the second base profile section 21 and the wall panel 5 from above, it may spread downward and reach the region of the recess 12. Since the edge portion 17 of the moisture barrier 16 is offset from the base profile 19 and is covered upwardly by the horizontal portion 13, the moisture or liquid is prevented from getting past the moisture barrier 16. The moisture or liquid thus remains above the moisture barrier 16 and can not penetrate into the bottom insulation 15 or the bottom 2.

In FIG. 2 a second embodiment is shown. It differs from the first embodiment in that the wall panel 28 forms a partition wall in a room. A seal between partition and floor is therefore necessary on both sides of the partition. In addition, the base element 29 is a separate component. It is connected via U-profiles 30 with the wall panel. Further, the base member 29 is connected to the bottom 31 via screws and dowels 32. To stabilize U-profiles 30 are also provided at the connection between the bottom 31 and base member 29. On the floor 31 is a vapor barrier 33. A floor insulation 34 extends from both sides to the base element 29 zoom. On the bottom insulation 34, a moisture barrier 35 is arranged. This is pulled with an edge portion along the base member 29 upwards. It ends at the upper edge of the base element 29 below the wall panel 28. On the moisture barrier a screed 36 is laid. A base profile 37 is arranged with its upper end on the wall panel 28. With its lower end it stands on the screed 36. By the base profile 37, the base member 29 is covered with the edge portion of the moisture barrier 35 to the outside. On the screed 36 tiles are laid. The adjacent to the base profile 37 arranged tile 38 forms a groove. With its upwardly directed portion it extends to a folded portion 39 of the base profile. The space between the base profile 37 and the tile 38 is provided with a permanently elastic joint 39.

The structure is identical on both sides of the base profile 29. Therefore, the same reference numbers have been used for the components on both sides.

The base profile 37 is substantially consistent with the base profile 19 of the first embodiment. It also has a first base profile section, a second base profile section and two angled sections.

All features of the invention may be essential to the invention both individually and in any combination with each other.
