Die schematische Perspektivdarstellung der Fig. 1 zeigt eine erste Variante einer Vorrichtung zum Einschlagen von Kartonzuschnitten mit darin befindlichen Artikeln. Eine solche Vorrichtung kann in ihrem wesentlichen Aufbau bspw. der in DE 20 2005 014 345 U1 offenbarten Einschlag- und Verpackungsvorrichtung ähneln oder entsprechen. Die zu verschließenden Kartonzuschnitte 10 können Seitenlaschen 12, Deckellaschen und/oder Bodenlaschen aufweisen. Der besseren Übersichtlichkeit halber sind in der Fig. 1 lediglich die um vertikale Falzlinien 14 umgeschlagenen Seitenlaschen 12 des Kartonzuschnitts 10 dargestellt. Nicht dargestellt sind weiterhin eine Einrichtung zum Zuführen eines Artikelstroms, eine Einrichtung zum Einteilen von Artikelgruppen und eine Einrichtung zum Zuführen von einzelnen Kartonzuschnitten in Förderrichtung der Artikelgruppen. Die Kartonzuschnitte werden normalerweise in einer aufeinander folgenden Reihe von unten unter die Artikelgruppen transportiert, so dass die Seitenlaschen 12 längs zur Förderrichtung F weisend verlaufen. Die dargestellte Vorrichtung 8 umfasst weiterhin eine Einrichtung zum Formen eines Kartons 16 sowie zum Einschlagen der Seitenlaschen 12 quer zur Förderrichtung F mittels Einschlagelementen 18, die um eine zur Förderebene der Kartonzuschnitte 10 bzw. Kartons 16 senkrechte Achse rotieren. Die Einschlagelemente 18 weisen jeweils einen Antriebsmotor 20 mit einer senkrecht verlaufenden Welle 22 auf, an deren oberem Ende stabförmige Fingerpaare 24 angeordnet sind, die sich innerhalb einer zur Förderebene 26 annähernd parallelen Ebene bewegen, da sie jeweils paarweise senkrecht zur senkrechten Achse ausgerichtet sind. Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 sind die Fingerpaare 24 so geformt, dass die Finger sich jeweils bogenförmig innerhalb einer im Wesentlichen horizontalen Ebene erstrecken. Die Fingerpaare 24 sind zudem in Umlaufrichtung zueinander versetzt angeordnet, so dass ein erster Finger 28 die am rückwärtigen Ende eines voraus laufenden Kartons 16 vorhandene Seitenlasche 12 und ein zweiter Finger 30 die am voraus laufenden Ende des nachfolgenden Kartons 16 vorhandene Seitenlasche 12 einschlagen kann. Die beiden Finger 28 und 30 eines Fingerpaares sind bei dieser ersten Variante starr zueinander angeordnet, wobei sie einen Spreizungswinkel von ungefähr 90° einschließen. Allerdings weisen die Finger 28 und 30 jeweils bogenförmige Verläufe mit einander zugewandten konvexen Seiten, so dass die konvexen Rückenabschnitte jedes bogenförmig gekrümmten Fingers 28 und 30 sich flügelartig gegenüber liegen. Der Spreizungs- bzw. Öffnungswinkel kann wahlweise die dargestellte Größe von ca. 90° aufweisen. Claims (15)

  1. An apparatus (8) for packaging articles in a box blank (10), which has folding lines (14) and side flaps (12) and/or lid flaps and/or base flaps, wherein said apparatus comprises at least:
    - a device for supplying an article stream;
    - a device for dividing up the articles into article groups and/or sets of articles;
    - a device for supplying individual box blanks (10) to the article groups and/or for bringing together the article groups and the box blanks (10);
    - a device for forming a box (16) and for folding in the side flaps (12) by means of folding-in elements (18), which rotate about an axis (38) that is approximately perpendicular to the conveying plane (26) and/or to the conveying direction of the box blanks (10), and with each of the said folding-in elements (18) comprising at least one pair of folding-in means (28, 30), which are movable in a common plane, in particular in an approximately horizontal plane;
    characterised in that the two folding-in means (28, 30) are movable and/or controllable and regulatable independently of one another.
  2. The apparatus as recited in claim 1 in which the two folding-in means (28, 30) are in each case aligned pairwise and approximately perpendicular to a vertical plane, arranged offset in relation to each other in the circulation direction and movable about a common rotational axis (38).
  3. The apparatus as recited in claim 1 or 2 in which the two folding-in means are each formed as rod-shaped fingers (28, 30).
  4.
