Bisher bestand keine Möglichkeit, den Kämpferverbinder selbst mit geeigneten Mitteln zum Aufspreizen des Rahmens beim Einsetzen auszustatten. Dies liegt u. a. daran, dass es sich bei den Rahmen und den Kämpfern um relativ sperrige Teile handelt, was ein passgenaues Einsetzen bei gleichzeitiger Bedienung eines Spreizmechanismus nicht praktikabel erscheinen lässt. Ferner besteht der Wunsch, den Kämpfer nach dem Einsetzen nachspannen zu können. Zu diesem Zweck weist der Einsteckzapfen 304 einen Querschnitt auf (Fig. 20), der demjenigen des Innenquerschnitts 224 der Spannachse 120 komplementär ist. Das heißt, der Querschnitt des Einsteckzapfens 304 ist kreisförmig mit zwei gegenüberliegenden Einkerbungen 310, in welche die Vorsprünge 226 eingeschoben werden. Somit wird auch der Querschnitt des massiven Einsteckzapfens 304 zu zwei Kreissektoren 312 zusammengeschnürt, die in der Achsenmitte zusammenlaufen.   1. Device for inserting an impost (70) in a door or window frame with two opposed parallel frame legs, comprising a tensioning device (10,100) integrated into the frame construction for spreading the frame legs and for shifting the impost (70) from the first frame leg (60) against the second frame leg,
    with a spreading block (12,112) insertable into the first frame leg (60),
    characterized by a clamping finger (16,116) disposed pivotable at the spreading block (12,112) around an axis (20,120) parallel to the frame legs between a position lying on the first frame leg (60) and a position protruding thereon,
    and an end piece (14) insertable into one end of the impost (70) and engaging in a form-locking manner with a free end of the clamping finger (16,116) for shifting the impost (70),
    said end piece (14,114) being provided with a conduct (39,139) for receiving an extension of the end of the clamping finger (16,116), said conduct (39,139) comprising a bottom opening (58), a sliding section (50) extending from the opening upwards along the axis of the impost, and a locking section (52) being angled laterally from the sliding section (50).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the conduct (39,139) is formed by recesses in opposed side walls (42) of the end piece (14,114), and the extension of the end of the clamping finger (16,116) is formed by pins (38) protruding in opposite directions from the end of the clamping finger.
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the end piece (14) comprises an outer sleeve (26) and a tension anchor (28) received within the sleeve (26), and the recesses forming the conduct (39) are formed by through holes (40) in the lateral walls (42) of the tension anchor (28).
  4. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking section (52) as an arcuate shape and extends from the upper end of the sliding section (50) generally opposed to the shifting direction of the impost (70).
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking section (52) is provided with detents (56) for receiving a corresponding detent (44) of the extension of the upper end of a clamping finger (16,116).
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bottom opening (58) is extended downwardly in a funnel shape.
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the end piece (14,114) comprises a cam (74) at its bottom front rim in the shifting direction of the impost (70), said cam (74) abutting at an upper abutment surface (76) of the clamping finger (116,116) in its lying position in the shifting movement of the impost (70).
  8. Device according to claim 7 in connection with claim 6, characterized in that the opening (58) is delimited at its side averted from the cam (74) by an inclined or arcuate wall (78) that is positioned relative to the cam (74) in a way that during an upward pivoting movement of the clamping finger (16,116) in a position in which the cam (74) is supported on the axis and of the abutment surface (76) the extended end of the clamping finger (16,116) is stopped by the wall (78) and presses the end piece (14,114) in an upward direction.
  9. Device according to one the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one end of the axis (20,120) of the clamping finger (16,116) is shaped for receiving a tool for transferring a torque on the axis (20,120).
  10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the end piece (114) is formed as one piece.
  11. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the axis (120) comprises a hollow inner cross-section from whose walls extend protrusions (226) in a pair wise manner radially inward.
  12. Device according to claim 11, characterized in that the axis (120) has a generally hollow circular inner cross-section (224), and the protrusions (226) have a generally tri-angular cross-section.
  13. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the axis (120) is formed integrally with the clamping finger (116), and the spreading block (112) is assembled by at least two parts (214,216) with the axis (120) lying between them.
