Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zur maschinellen Herstellung eines Flechterzeugnisses aus einzelnen Fäden, werden kurvenförmige Bahnabschnitte über Kreuzungsweichen zu sich wechselseitig kreuzenden Umlaufbahnen miteinander verbunden. Die zu Umlaufbahnen miteinander verbundenen Bahnabschnitte werden zu einer Anzahl erster Mantelflechtkreise miteinander verschaltet, wobei die Spulenträger auf jedem ersten Mantelflechtkreis umlaufend bewegt werden. Dann werden zwei, jeweils die gleiche Führungsrichtung aufweisende Bahnabschnitte jeweils mit wenigstens einem eine gegenläufige Führungsrichtung aufweisenden Bahnabschnitt zu wenigstens zwei Schaltbahnen zusammen-geschaltet. Dazu sind die beiden Umlaufbahnen eines der Mantelflechtkreise jeweils über eine erste Kreuzungsweiche mit einer der Umlaufbahnen des jeweils anderen Mantelflechtkreises verbunden. Nachfolgend werden die Spulenträger über die zu Schaltbahnen miteinander verschalteten Bahnabschnitte in eine Schaltstellung hineinbewegt. Schließlich werden die zu Schaltbahnen miteinander verbundenen Bahnabschnitte zu einer Anzahl zweiter Mantelflechtkreise miteinander verschaltet. Dazu sind gemeinsam in einem Mantelflechtkreis angeordnete Umlaufbahnen jeweils über eine zweite Kreuzungsweiche mit-einander verbunden. Anschließend werden die Spulenträger auf jedem zweiten Mantelflechtkreis umlaufend weiterbewegt.
