Definitions
- the invention relates to a disc brush for use in a sweeping machine for cleaning outdoor areas.
- a sweeper comprises the disc brushes associated holding devices and drives for rotating and placing the plate plate on the surface to be cleaned.
- the circular brush is usually not placed parallel to the base surface, but at an angle thereto. Therefore, not all bristles of the plate are at the same time engaged but only those that point in the respective rotational position obliquely down to the surface to be cleaned.
- the angle of inclination with which the respective disc brush is placed relative to the background surface varies depending on the size of the plate. Especially small plate brooms are made at shallow angles on the surfaces to be cleaned, ie inclined only by a small angle from the ground parallel position of the plate leg.
- the generic disc brushes used to date for cleaning exterior areas usually have a rotationally symmetrical structure about an axis of rotation and comprise an annular pedestal and a multiplicity of bristles fastened thereto.
- the bristles are usually attached to the Besenteller that they point over the entire circumference of the Besentellers at a shallow angle radially outwards and in the direction of the surface to be cleaned.
- the brushes of plate brooms are its fastest-wearing components and therefore determine or limit its service life.
- bristles of a metallic material When cleaning outdoor areas usually bristles of a metallic material are used.
- the wear of the bristles is due on the one hand to mechanical abrasion and on the other hand to bristle fractures, especially in bristles of metallic materials due to their high mechanical abrasion resistance and their relatively low bending fatigue, the wear is mainly due to bristle fractures.
- the main cause of bristle fractures is their strong bending in cleaning operations, which is caused by unavoidable counter forces and rotational forces.
- a cleaning brush for the wet cleaning of interiors known in which on a round brush plate various bristles are fixed, which are aligned in different directions.
- carrier bristles are arranged at right angles to the surface to be cleaned in the inner region of the brush plate, so that further bristles arranged outside on the brush plate for cleaning corner regions of the interior to be cleaned are not bent over by the contact pressure of the cleaning bristles to a slight extent.
- the disc brush according to the invention comprises a Besenteller
- the receiving means are preferably arranged on the receiving means for mounting the plate plate on a sweeper.
- the receiving means may be designed a plurality of incorporated in the Besenteller receiving holes for a screw connection to the sweeper.
- at the receiving means of the disc broom can be attached to a sweeper and rotated by this for cleaning a surface to be cleaned about a rotation axis.
- a Besenteller is generally a component or a structural unit of the Tellererbesens to understand which or which comprises attachments for a variety of bristles.
- the Besenteller example, the shape of a flat cylinder or hollow cylinder or a conical shape.
- embodiments of the plate insert are conceivable in which the Besenteller is composed of several components and, for example, sweeping bristles are fixed to a first and supporting bristles on a second component.
- the Besenteller includes on the one hand fasteners for a variety of sweeping bristles and other fasteners for a variety of support bristles.
- the sweeping bristles, and preferably also the supporting bristles are each fastened to the small plate in such a way that, starting from their respective attachments, they point radially outward on the small plate.
- the indication of direction "radially outwards" does not necessarily mean that the sweeping or supporting bristles are aligned with the axis of rotation of the shim, but rather that the free ends of the sweeping or support bristles facing away from the plastic plate are at a greater distance from one another Have axis of rotation as their respective fortifications.
- the support bristles are attached to the Besenteller that their respective angle of attack relative to a plane which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, steeper, ie larger, than the respective angles of incidence of the sweeping bristles relative to this plane.
- embodiments of the plate insert are included, in which the amounts of the respective angles of attack of all sweeping bristles and / or the amounts of the respective angles of attack of all support bristles are the same, but preferably also embodiments in which the angles of incidence of all sweeping bristles and / or the angles of attack of all the support bristles have the exact same amount, as long as the angles of the sweeping and / or supporting bristles are each within an angular range, which is preferably 10 degrees.
- the sweeping bristles are mounted on the Besenteller in several different radial distances from the axis of rotation, so that at least one attachment of at least one outermost sweeping bristle has a greatest radial distance to the axis of rotation, measured from the outermost edge of the attachment, and at least one attachment of at least one innermost sweeping bristle one smallest radial distance to the axis of rotation, measured from the innermost edge of the attachment.
- the innermost (-n) and outermost (-n) sweeping bristles (n) define an annular mounting area concentric about the axis of rotation.
- the annular attachment area is within the meaning of the invention, an imaginary distance range to the axis of rotation, within which lie the fastenings of the sweeping bristles.
- At least some fastenings of support bristles lie within the annular attachment area.
- the opposing forces acting on the sweeping bristles are reduced in the disc brush according to the invention.
- a significant proportion of the unavoidable in the cleaning of outdoor areas opposing forces that are absorbed in conventional disc brushes from the sweeping bristles is received in the disc brush according to the invention of the support bristles.
- the support bristles have, in particular because of their steeper angle and their shorter length, a higher stiffness than the sweeping bristles and thus relieve substantially the sweeping bristles.
- the support bristles Compared with the sweeping bristles, the support bristles have a higher rigidity, so that they are less strongly bent by the counter forces occurring during cleaning operations.
- the fastenings of the support bristles are arranged at a plurality of different radial distances from the axis of rotation on the Besenteller, in particular several fastenings of support bristles with different radial distances are within the annular mounting area.
- the plate insert according to the invention are as an alternative or in addition to those features of the embodiments described above, which relate to the arrangements of the attachments of support and sweeping bristles relative to each other and relative to the axis of rotation and on the mounting portion, the radially outwardly of the Besenteller pointing away free ends of the sweeping bristles arranged in several different radial distances from the axis of rotation.
- the at least one free end of the at least one sweeping bristle which has the smallest distance to the axis of rotation, bounded at its furthest inwardly arranged edge concentrically around the axis of rotation annular bristle end region inwards.
- the at least one free end of the at least one sweeping bristle which has the greatest distance from the axis of rotation, limits the annular bristle end region to the outside at its edge arranged furthest outwards.
- the free ends of at least some support bristles lie within the annular bristle end region.
- at least some fixings or “at least some free ends” means that at least two and at most all fastenings or free ends of the support bristles fastened to the main plate lie in particular completely within the attachment region or bristle end region. It has proven to be advantageous if at least 30% of the fastenings or free ends of all support bristles fastened to the small plate lie within the fastening or bristle end region.
- the annular attachment region or the annular bristle end region does not mean a bodily ring of the plate element, but rather an imaginary ring which defines a distance region about the axis of rotation. That is, for example, fortifications of Support bristles in the axial direction of the axis of rotation can be arranged offset to the fixings of the sweeping bristles and yet lie within the annular region around the axis of rotation.
- all the free ends of the sweeping bristles and / or all free ends of the supporting bristles lie substantially in a common plane which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, wherein positional deviations of individual free ends of sweeping or supporting bristles should be disregarded due to manufacturing tolerances.
- a plurality of free ends of support bristles have different radial distances from the axis of rotation and lie within the annular attachment area.
- This arrangement of the support bristles causes a greater overlap of the sweeping and supporting bristles in the radial direction, thereby ensuring that at different angles of inclination always sweeping and supporting bristles are in engagement with the surface to be cleaned.
- the sweeping and / or supporting bristles are each fastened in several bundles on the Besenteller.
- the sweeping and supporting bristle bundles can be introduced as such in blind hole-like or through-hole-like mounting holes on the Besenteller and attached to the brush plate.
- the bristles of a bundle of bristles are held together exclusively at their attachment.
- the support bristles of a support bristle bundle are held together not only by their attachment, but also in the other regions by means of collars, rings or the like.
- a plurality of groups of supporting bristles or supporting bristle bundles are arranged on the Besenteller on the Besenteller, each group preferably comprises at least 4 Stützborstenbündel.
- adjacent support bristle bundles form a group when adjacent to each other and preferably are not separated from each other by sweeping bristle bundles interposed therebetween.
- the groupwise arrangement of the support bristles on the Besenteller improves their support effect relative to the ground.
- the supporting effect of the support bristles can be so pronounced that, for example, when driving over bumps with a sweeper and the resulting spontaneously increasing drag on the disc brush the support bristles bounce the disc broom from the bump without the Besenteller touches down on the ground.
- support bristles arranged in groups have the advantage that weed plants can be removed from the soil when overgrown substrate surfaces are cleaned.
- the support bristles are arranged in a plurality of support bristle segments, each extending in the radial direction and extending in the direction of rotation between the sweeping bristles preferably in the radial direction.
- the support bristle segments are preferably arranged equidistant from each other about the axis of rotation.
- the plate broom preferably comprises at least three support bristle segments, wherein the number of support bristle segments preferably increases with the size of the plate broom.
- a preferred embodiment of the plate insert according to the invention comprises four support bristle segments, each having ten support bristles or Stitzborstenbündel.
- support bristle segments are preferably each formed from two rows of five support bristles or support bristle bundles, which are arranged one behind the other in the radial direction substantially.
- the support and or sweeping bristles are designed or so aligned with the brush plate that the support bristles compared to the sweeping bristles have a greater flexural strength especially against bending in the radial direction of the plate but also against bends in the direction of rotation.
- the support bristles are angled at a steeper angle than the sweeping bristles and have a shorter length.
- the support bristles may have a larger cross-sectional area and / or a greater extent in the radial direction and / or a greater extent in the direction of rotation than the sweeping bristles and / or consist of a more rigid material than the sweeping bristles.
- Another embodiment of the present plate bit is characterized in that a plurality of fasteners and / or free ends of supporting bristles have the same greatest radial distance from the axis of rotation.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a disc brush for use in a sweeping machine for cleaning outdoor areas.
Such generic disc brushes have long been used in sweeping machines for cleaning roads or sidewalks. A sweeper comprises the disc brushes associated holding devices and drives for rotating and placing the plate plate on the surface to be cleaned. In sweepers of this type, the circular brush is usually not placed parallel to the base surface, but at an angle thereto. Therefore, not all bristles of the plate are at the same time engaged but only those that point in the respective rotational position obliquely down to the surface to be cleaned. The angle of inclination with which the respective disc brush is placed relative to the background surface, varies depending on the size of the plate. Especially small plate brooms are made at shallow angles on the surfaces to be cleaned, ie inclined only by a small angle from the ground parallel position of the plate leg. In the case of small circular brushes, the largest part of their brushes, that is about 80%, is at the same time in engagement with the surface to be cleaned in the case of an inclined whisk. In contrast, larger circular brushes are usually employed at a steeper angle to the surface to be cleaned, ie inclined at a greater angle from its ground-parallel position, whereby only a smaller proportion of the bristles is simultaneously in engagement with the surface to be cleaned.
The generic disc brushes used to date for cleaning exterior areas usually have a rotationally symmetrical structure about an axis of rotation and comprise an annular pedestal and a multiplicity of bristles fastened thereto. The bristles are usually attached to the Besenteller that they point over the entire circumference of the Besentellers at a shallow angle radially outwards and in the direction of the surface to be cleaned.
The brushes of plate brooms are its fastest-wearing components and therefore determine or limit its service life. When cleaning outdoor areas usually bristles of a metallic material are used. The wear of the bristles is due on the one hand to mechanical abrasion and on the other hand to bristle fractures, especially in bristles of metallic materials due to their high mechanical abrasion resistance and their relatively low bending fatigue, the wear is mainly due to bristle fractures. The main cause of bristle fractures is their strong bending in cleaning operations, which is caused by unavoidable counter forces and rotational forces.
However, such a cleaning brush is not suitable for use in sweeping machines for cleaning outdoor areas, since obliquely to the surface to be cleaned Bürstelte the carrier bristles do not engage, but would rotate without contact to the surface to be cleaned in the air and therefore the Can not reduce contact pressure on the outer bristles.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a disc brush for a sweeper for cleaning outdoor areas, which has an improved life.
This object is achieved by disc brush according to claim 1 and according to
In a first embodiment of the disc brush according to the invention comprises a Besenteller, are preferably arranged on the receiving means for mounting the plate plate on a sweeper. In this case, the receiving means may be designed a plurality of incorporated in the Besenteller receiving holes for a screw connection to the sweeper. In particular, at the receiving means of the disc broom can be attached to a sweeper and rotated by this for cleaning a surface to be cleaned about a rotation axis.
For the purposes of the invention, a Besenteller is generally a component or a structural unit of the Tellererbesens to understand which or which comprises attachments for a variety of bristles. In this case, the Besenteller example, the shape of a flat cylinder or hollow cylinder or a conical shape. Furthermore, embodiments of the plate insert are conceivable in which the Besenteller is composed of several components and, for example, sweeping bristles are fixed to a first and supporting bristles on a second component.
The Besenteller includes on the one hand fasteners for a variety of sweeping bristles and other fasteners for a variety of support bristles. According to the invention, the sweeping bristles, and preferably also the supporting bristles, are each fastened to the small plate in such a way that, starting from their respective attachments, they point radially outward on the small plate. In accordance with the invention, the indication of direction "radially outwards" does not necessarily mean that the sweeping or supporting bristles are aligned with the axis of rotation of the shim, but rather that the free ends of the sweeping or support bristles facing away from the plastic plate are at a greater distance from one another Have axis of rotation as their respective fortifications.
The sweeping bristles are preferably arranged on the Besenteller that a complete rotation of the plate plate about the axis of rotation ensures a nearly continuous cleaning of the surface to be cleaned. That It is preferably ensured that in a cleaning process in each angular position of the plate plate a sufficient number of sweeping bristles is engaged with the surface to be cleaned, so that in each angular position a desired cleaning effect of the surface to be cleaned can be achieved.
The support bristles are attached to the Besenteller that their respective angle of attack relative to a plane which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, steeper, ie larger, than the respective angles of incidence of the sweeping bristles relative to this plane. In this case, embodiments of the plate insert are included, in which the amounts of the respective angles of attack of all sweeping bristles and / or the amounts of the respective angles of attack of all support bristles are the same, but preferably also embodiments in which the angles of incidence of all sweeping bristles and / or the angles of attack of all the support bristles have the exact same amount, as long as the angles of the sweeping and / or supporting bristles are each within an angular range, which is preferably 10 degrees.
The sweeping bristles are mounted on the Besenteller in several different radial distances from the axis of rotation, so that at least one attachment of at least one outermost sweeping bristle has a greatest radial distance to the axis of rotation, measured from the outermost edge of the attachment, and at least one attachment of at least one innermost sweeping bristle one smallest radial distance to the axis of rotation, measured from the innermost edge of the attachment. There are embodiments of the plate insert conceivable in which only a single attachment of a sweeping bristle in the smallest and / or a single attachment of a sweeping bristle are arranged at the greatest radial distance from the axis of rotation and embodiments in which several fortifications of sweeping bristles in the smallest or largest distance to the axis of rotation are arranged on the Besenteller.
The innermost (-n) and outermost (-n) sweeping bristles (n) define an annular mounting area concentric about the axis of rotation. The annular attachment area is within the meaning of the invention, an imaginary distance range to the axis of rotation, within which lie the fastenings of the sweeping bristles.
At least some fastenings of support bristles lie within the annular attachment area.
To determine the position of the fasteners, in particular the position of their respective outlet openings is considered, d. H. the region of the respective attachment, in which the bristle fixed therein leaves the attachment and extends in the further course to the surface to be cleaned.
As a result of this arrangement of the fastenings of sweeping and supporting bristles, the opposing forces acting on the sweeping bristles are reduced in the disc brush according to the invention. A significant proportion of the unavoidable in the cleaning of outdoor areas opposing forces that are absorbed in conventional disc brushes from the sweeping bristles is received in the disc brush according to the invention of the support bristles. The support bristles have, in particular because of their steeper angle and their shorter length, a higher stiffness than the sweeping bristles and thus relieve substantially the sweeping bristles. Compared with the sweeping bristles, the support bristles have a higher rigidity, so that they are less strongly bent by the counter forces occurring during cleaning operations.
The arrangement of the attachments of support bristles within the annular attachment area and thus in the direction of rotation between the fasteners of sweeping bristles ensures that even with obliquely placed on the surface to be cleaned plate brush both sweeping bristles and support bristles are in engagement with the surface to be cleaned.
Preferably, the fastenings of the support bristles are arranged at a plurality of different radial distances from the axis of rotation on the Besenteller, in particular several fastenings of support bristles with different radial distances are within the annular mounting area.
According to a further embodiment of the plate insert according to the invention are as an alternative or in addition to those features of the embodiments described above, which relate to the arrangements of the attachments of support and sweeping bristles relative to each other and relative to the axis of rotation and on the mounting portion, the radially outwardly of the Besenteller pointing away free ends of the sweeping bristles arranged in several different radial distances from the axis of rotation. The at least one free end of the at least one sweeping bristle, which has the smallest distance to the axis of rotation, bounded at its furthest inwardly arranged edge concentrically around the axis of rotation annular bristle end region inwards. The at least one free end of the at least one sweeping bristle, which has the greatest distance from the axis of rotation, limits the annular bristle end region to the outside at its edge arranged furthest outwards. In this embodiment of the plate insert according to the invention, the free ends of at least some support bristles lie within the annular bristle end region.
Borstenendenbereiches liegen. In all of the above-described embodiments of the plate insert according to the invention, "at least some fixings" or "at least some free ends" means that at least two and at most all fastenings or free ends of the support bristles fastened to the main plate lie in particular completely within the attachment region or bristle end region. It has proven to be advantageous if at least 30% of the fastenings or free ends of all support bristles fastened to the small plate lie within the fastening or bristle end region.
In all of the above-described embodiments of the plate insert according to the invention, the annular attachment region or the annular bristle end region does not mean a bodily ring of the plate element, but rather an imaginary ring which defines a distance region about the axis of rotation. That is, for example, fortifications of Support bristles in the axial direction of the axis of rotation can be arranged offset to the fixings of the sweeping bristles and yet lie within the annular region around the axis of rotation.
Preferably, all the free ends of the sweeping bristles and / or all free ends of the supporting bristles lie substantially in a common plane which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, wherein positional deviations of individual free ends of sweeping or supporting bristles should be disregarded due to manufacturing tolerances.
Preferably, a plurality of free ends of support bristles have different radial distances from the axis of rotation and lie within the annular attachment area.
This arrangement of the support bristles causes a greater overlap of the sweeping and supporting bristles in the radial direction, thereby ensuring that at different angles of inclination always sweeping and supporting bristles are in engagement with the surface to be cleaned.
Preferably, the sweeping and / or supporting bristles are each fastened in several bundles on the Besenteller.
In this case, the sweeping and supporting bristle bundles can be introduced as such in blind hole-like or through-hole-like mounting holes on the Besenteller and attached to the brush plate. Preferably, according to the invention, the bristles of a bundle of bristles are held together exclusively at their attachment. However, embodiments are also conceivable in which, in particular, the support bristles of a support bristle bundle are held together not only by their attachment, but also in the other regions by means of collars, rings or the like.
In an advantageous embodiment, a plurality of groups of supporting bristles or supporting bristle bundles are arranged on the Besenteller on the Besenteller, each group preferably comprises at least 4 Stützborstenbündel. According to the invention, adjacent support bristle bundles form a group when adjacent to each other and preferably are not separated from each other by sweeping bristle bundles interposed therebetween.
The groupwise arrangement of the support bristles on the Besenteller improves their support effect relative to the ground. The supporting effect of the support bristles can be so pronounced that, for example, when driving over bumps with a sweeper and the resulting spontaneously increasing drag on the disc brush the support bristles bounce the disc broom from the bump without the Besenteller touches down on the ground. In addition, support bristles arranged in groups have the advantage that weed plants can be removed from the soil when overgrown substrate surfaces are cleaned.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the plate insert according to the invention, the support bristles are arranged in a plurality of support bristle segments, each extending in the radial direction and extending in the direction of rotation between the sweeping bristles preferably in the radial direction. The support bristle segments are preferably arranged equidistant from each other about the axis of rotation. Depending on the size of the pan plate, the plate broom preferably comprises at least three support bristle segments, wherein the number of support bristle segments preferably increases with the size of the plate broom.
Preferably, a support bristle segment comprises at least one row comprising preferably at least two and at most seven support bristles or support bristle bundles arranged one behind the other in the radial direction. For example, a support bristle segment may be two to four in the direction of rotation comprise rows of support bristles arranged immediately one behind the other.
A preferred embodiment of the plate insert according to the invention comprises four support bristle segments, each having ten support bristles or Stützborstenbündel. In this case, support bristle segments are preferably each formed from two rows of five support bristles or support bristle bundles, which are arranged one behind the other in the radial direction substantially.
The support bristles and / or the sweeping bristles may consist of a metallic material, plastic, in particular a hard plastic or similar material. In particular, the support and sweeping bristles may be made of the same material.
Preferably, the support and or sweeping bristles are designed or so aligned with the brush plate that the support bristles compared to the sweeping bristles have a greater flexural strength especially against bending in the radial direction of the plate but also against bends in the direction of rotation. This is particularly due to the fact that the support bristles are angled at a steeper angle than the sweeping bristles and have a shorter length. In addition, the support bristles may have a larger cross-sectional area and / or a greater extent in the radial direction and / or a greater extent in the direction of rotation than the sweeping bristles and / or consist of a more rigid material than the sweeping bristles.
Another embodiment of the present plate bit is characterized in that a plurality of fasteners and / or free ends of supporting bristles have the same greatest radial distance from the axis of rotation. In this arrangement, these support bristles in the radial direction of the plate plate form a radial stop for the plate broom, to which the plate broom can be guided on obstacles. So can the broom from the sweeper in be advantageously brought laterally to a curb and spring-biased by the sweeper so far pressed against the curb until the radial stop abuts the curb, whereas further arranged on the Besenteller sweeping bristles are bent by the curb. By this spring preload, the distance of the plate plate remains constant to the curb even with minor changes in the direction of travel of the sweeper, whereby the contact of the plate plate is maintained to the curb.
Preferably, the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all the support bristles is preferably at least 10 percent and at most 30 percent, preferably 15 to 25 percent of the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all sweeping bristles. In particular, the cross-sectional areas lying in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation are suitable for this assessment.
Advantageously, the angle of the support bristles relative to the plane which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the plate insert is not less than 55 degrees and not more than 85 degrees, preferably not less than 65 and not more than 75 degrees. On the other hand, the angle of the sweeping bristles relative to the plane perpendicular to the rotation axis is preferably not less than 40 degrees and not more than 50 degrees.
Preferably, the support bristles are set at least 10 degrees, better 20 degrees steeper than the sweeping bristles.
Preferably, the shallower the angle of the sweeping bristles relative to the plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation, the greater the difference between the angle at which the support bristles are set relative to the plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation and the corresponding angle of the sweeping bristles.

Compared with the sizes of all disc brushes already used in sweeping machines, the disc broom shown has a medium size. By this arrangement of the first and
