Claims (5)

  1. Mechanical tripping device for electrical switching equipment of at least one electrical line, the said equipment containing:
    - one fixed contact and one moving contact by line;
    - an actuator mechanism (16) manually movable and mobile between two stable positions corresponding respectively to the opening and closing of the said contacts, the said actuator (16) having a third stable position located between the first two corresponding to the opening of the contacts following a problem occurred on a line, the movement from this intermediate position towards the open position allowing the rearming of the tripping device;
    - a mechanical lock having a trigger (12) and a toggle transferring the movement of the actuator mechanism to the moving contact(s), the said trigger (12) being able to pivot in relation to the toggle notably in order to provoke its switching and the opening of the contacts; and
    - a return means with the moving contact(s) shifted counter thereto by the actuator mechanism (16) in the closed position, and which returns it (them) to the open position under the effect of the trigger (12) pivoting;
    - a pivoting lever (1) placed between the trigger (12); and
    - a rotary transmission bar (2) reproducing the movements of the magnetic and thermal subassemblies in case of an over-current in the line or lines,
    characterized in that the tripping mechanism contains:
    - a torsion spring (3) placed between the said lever (1) and the transmission bar (2), the first end (10) of the spring (3) being applied to the lever, the second end (7) pushing the transmission bar (2) towards a rearmed position based on which a protrusion (8) rigidly connected to the transmission bar (2) is positioned in such a manner as to press on the lever (1) in the area of an orifice (9) in that lever, the rotation of the bar (2) in case of over-current provoking the movement of the said protrusion (8) in front of the orifice (9) and the switching of the lever (1) under the effect of the spring (3), the said switching provoking the release of a lug (11) rigidly connected to the trigger (12) and inserted in a window of the lever (1) when it is in the rearmed position, liberating the trigger (12) which pivots in order to trip the equipment.
  2. Mechanical tripping device for electrical switching equipment of at least one electrical line according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the projecting part (15) of the lever (1) works in conjunction with an edge (17) on the trigger (12) during the rearmament provoking the pivoting in the opposite sense to the trigger (12), the said edge (17) driving the pivoting in the opposite sense to the lever (1) against the spring (3) by pressing on the said projecting part (15), the spring (3) pushing in turn the transmission bar (2) in order to return it to the rearmed position by rotating it.
  3. Mechanical tripping device for electrical switching equipment of at least one electrical line according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the torsion spring (3) has a central spiralled section wrapped around the pivoting shaft (4) of the lever (1).
  4. Mechanical tripping device for electrical switching equipment of at least one electrical line according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the orifice with which the protrusion (8) works and the window of the lever (1) in which the lug (11) of the trigger (12) inserts are one and the same orifice (9).
  5. Mechanical tripping device for electrical switching equipment of at least one electrical line according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rotary transmission bar (2) that reproduces the movements of the magnetic and thermal subassemblies is free to rotate around a pin (14) fixed in relation to the equipment box, the said bar (2) being placed transversally to the said box and having radial protrusions (5, 6), half of them (6) intended to work in conjunction with the ends of thermal bi-metal strips and the other half (5) with the magnetic circuits equipping each line.
