Description
The invention relates to a component for the modular construction of planar areas, in particular walls, ceilings, floors; preferably on board passenger ships, wherein the device has a cassette shape with a flat surface and angled sides.
With components of the type described above, walls, ceilings, floors or similar planar areas are formed. In particular, walls, ceilings, floors and the like areas are covered with the modular components by several components are used as panels that form the visible surface of the surface area, ie a ceiling, a wall, a floor or the like according to their composition, the can be referred to as room-side surface.
In particular, panels are frequently used on board passenger ships in order to conceal technical installations such as cables, pipelines and the like, or to withdraw them from the direct view. With cladding panels, the visual appearance of a cabin or required for ship operation work space is significantly improved.
In shipbuilding such wall coverings are known. It is in this respect, but also the disadvantage of such panels, which are referred to in shipbuilding as Wegerungen, known, namely the need for their removal in the event of an accident or a repair of lying behind the panels installations. The removal of previously common panels is comparable to a demolition and subsequent rebuild the panel with modular design; because the individual components are often damaged or even destroyed after their dismantling and can not be used again.
In addition, known components that are used for the modular construction of flat areas on board ships also have the significant disadvantage that remain spatially gaps between the individual components, especially in areal areas within wet rooms, but especially within kitchen spaces Aboard ships, leading to disadvantages which are undesirable, if not inadmissible, under hygienic aspects.
The invention has for its object to provide components for the modular construction of area areas, preferably area areas on board of passenger ships, which are easy and easy to handle, rapid construction and, above all, a repeated assembly and dismantling allow and where in the Surface of the structure are given no or only extremely low room-side column.
This object is solved by the features of patent claim 1. Further developments and advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the
The created device for the modular construction of area areas, especially of walls, ceilings, floors on board passenger ships, has with particular advantage cassette shape with a flat surface and angled sides, wherein at least that angled side, which with a corresponding angled side of the im Build each adjacent component comes into contact, is angled at about 1 ° to 5 ° less than 90 °. Such a component in the form of a cassette with a planar surface and angled sides has at least one connecting element which can be plug-connected with a receptacle corresponding thereto, which is arranged in an angled side of the respective adjacent component in the construction.
By plug-in connection with the corresponding receptacle connecting element are modularly matched to each other components within the structure and fixed. Angled sides of the components adjacent to one another within the structure touch each other or lie against each other. Since one of the adjacent angled sides less than 90 °, z. B. is bent 87 °, then, when the planar surfaces of adjacent components in a plane, or an escape, are brought within the structure, a small bias sufficient to reduce the gap between the angled sides of the components room side or seal. Each component, which is in cassette form with a flat surface, z. B. square or rectangular. Other shapes, such as triangular or honeycomb, are of course possible.
Furthermore, the device according to the invention is characterized in that each connecting element is formed by a fold of the free edge of an angled side tab, which has formed by Randausklinkungen hooks and that each zugerodnete angled Side of the construction in each case lying adjacent to the component serving as a receptacle has openings through which the hooks of the corresponding adjacent component can be plugged.
The tab formed in the region of the free edge of an angled side can be plugged with its insertion hooks into the apertures of the component which is in each case adjacent within the structure. By slightly moving the juxtaposed components, the adjacent angled side of the adjacent components are then hooked with serving as recordings openings. The thus entangled components can then be placed in the space provided within the planar structure, in which the planar surface and the angled sides are aligned. The hooked components are fixed and the space between them located gap is reduced to a minimum.
This is achieved in particular advantageously in that each opening is a slot into which the respective associated hooks can be inserted and locked.
With particular advantage, the material of the deformable material from which the components are made, a sheet. However, it is also possible to use plastics, in particular with glass fibers, carbon fiber or the like reinforced plastics.
Due to their corrosion resistance, sheets made of chromium nickel steel are particularly suitable for use on board passenger ships. In addition, chrome nickel is hygienically advantageous.
The handling of the components according to the invention for the formation of a modular structure is particularly simple, since the individual components have little net weight due to the small thickness of the sheet used.
Within a structure of a flat area, components with any dimensions in a rectangular and square shape can be combined. The dimensions may be selected to give a modular kit.
Each angled side of a component has a width of z. B. 20 to 60 mm. Preferably, the width is selected 40 mm, which behind the components still a flat space is available, which can be filled with material for noise insulation or in the installations, such as cables and pipes or the like, can be included.
In order to give the individual components, and thus also the structure composed of components, sufficient rigidity, in particular with the small sheet thicknesses of preferably 0.6 mm used, reinforcing elements are provided. In particular, the rear side facing away from the visible side of the planar surface is equipped with attached reinforcing elements. Such reinforcing elements may have the form of ribs, tabs and the like, which may also be made of sheet metal. Their connection with the respective component can be done by conventional means, such as gluing or welding.
Preferably, reinforcing elements extend parallel to the angled sides, which is further conducive to a cassette-shaped design of the component. With particular advantage, each reinforcing element is a metal strip extending parallel to the respective adjacent angled side. Each sheet metal strip is preferably connected at the end to mutually parallel angled sides, that is, a reinforcing sheet metal strip extends from a first angled side to each parallel extending second angled side of the same component. The metal strip is thus upright on the back of the planar surface of the component forming sheet, wherein the ends of this upstanding sheet metal strip are glued or welded to the respective angled side of the device.
