Variants and alternatives are conceivable. For example, depressions or flat sections or grooves and / or ribs can be provided in the curvature. The transition from a flat surface to a curved one or vice versa is also conceivable. A transition from a lesser curvature to a greater curvature or from a greater curvature to a lesser curvature is also conceivable.
According to the invention, the cover member has at least one and preferably several stiffening ribs and / or stiffening grooves.
According to the invention, the locking device can have at least one and preferably a plurality of locking members, which is or are preferably designed as an edge or edges that completely or partially encircle the cover member and / or as a nose or noses.
Such locking members of the locking device can preferably be designed and arranged in such a way that in the locked state they engage behind the edge of the opening of the beverage can and can thus lock the beverage can closure member in the opening. According to the invention, the locking device can comprise at least one and preferably several extensions arranged on the cover member.
According to the invention, the cover member can be arranged in a ring-like component which surrounds the edge of the cover member, extensions preferably being formed on the cover member which are received in slots formed in the ring-like component.
In this embodiment of the invention, the extensions can act as a locking device by moving radially outward through the slots of the ring-like component when the cover member is pressed, in order to create a locking of the beverage can closure member in the removal opening. In this embodiment of the invention, the cover member including its extensions and the ring-like component are preferably made from the same material as the beverage can lid or the beverage can. However, it would also be conceivable to form the components from other materials, such as, for example, preferably food-grade plastic. Included the components can be made from the same or different materials.
According to the invention, the beverage can closure element can have an unlocking device which is designed and arranged in such a way that the locking device is unlocked by actuating the unlocking device, preferably by elastically deforming the cover element into the state in which the locking elements of the locking device are arranged radially further inward.
In this way, the opening of the beverage can can be released again after the unlocking device has been actuated. In other words, the unlocking device can be used to reverse the elastic change in shape of the cover member that occurred during locking by exerting a force on the cover member in such a way that the cover member moves from one stable state, ie, for example, the locked state, to another stable state, ie for example the unlocked state, which corresponds to the state in which the cover member was arranged in the opening of the beverage can for locking. After unlocking, the cover member can again be removed from the opening of the beverage can and rotated into another position in order to release the opening again for further removal of the contents of the beverage can.
According to the invention, the unlocking device can comprise a lever arranged on the beverage can closure element or a mechanism with one or more wings arranged on the beverage can closure element.
Alternatively or additionally, the elastic change in shape of the cover element of the beverage can closure element can be canceled by actuating the beverage can closure element itself. According to the invention, the cover member can have a curved surface or partial surface, preferably an upwardly curved surface or partial surface, the surface and / or the partial surface preferably being round, oval, trapezoidal with rounded corners, bridge-shaped, groove-shaped, rectangular, square, triangular, polygonal or Like. Is formed.
Of course, the curved surface or partial surface of the cover member can also have any other suitable shape, in particular also a shape with rounded corners.
According to the invention, the cover member can have a curved surface or partial surface which is directed downward, or has an upwardly curved surface which partially comprises a downwardly directed surface.
According to the invention, the cover member can have an edge as a locking member, the edge being a completely or partially circumferential edge, or comprising one or more protruding parts.
According to the invention, the cover member can have a complete or partially circumferential stiffening groove and / or stiffening rib, for example in the form of an offset.
This embodiment has the advantage that the cover member is given greater stability, as a result of which locking into the removal opening can be handled more easily and safely.
According to the invention, the edge of the cover member can have one or more lugs.
As a result, a better, that is to say simpler and more secure, locking of the cover member in the removal opening can be achieved will.
According to the invention, the cover member can have a flat surface or a surface protruding from a plane, the surface protruding from the plane preferably being a curved or multiply curved surface.
The cover member is preferably designed in such a way that it is the part of the opening tab or the beverage can closure element which can close the removal opening of the beverage can again.
The invention also relates to a beverage can lid with a beverage can closure element according to the invention, preferably with a predetermined breaking line defining a removal opening for removing the contents of the beverage can.
According to the invention, the beverage can closure element can be arranged and designed as an opening tab for opening the beverage can by pressing in the beverage can lid at the predetermined breaking line.
This embodiment of the invention is preferred. Alternatively, the beverage can closure element can also be provided as a component or part that is separate from an opening tab. It is clear that, according to the invention, the beverage can closure element can also be provided as a part that is separate from the beverage can. However, it is preferred to design the opening tab of the beverage can according to the invention as a beverage can closure element. For this purpose, the beverage can closure element then has the double function as an opening tab for opening the beverage can for the first time and for reclosing the beverage can and locking the beverage can closure element in the beverage can opening created by opening the beverage can at the predetermined breaking line.
According to the invention, the beverage can closure element can be arranged and designed on the beverage can lid in such a way that the beverage can closure element can be arranged over the removal opening after opening the removal opening either by turning and / or by folding the beverage can closure element over the removal opening in order to cover it and close it again.
According to the invention, the edge of the beverage can closure element can be arranged and designed such that it snaps into the removal opening (4) when the removal opening (4) is closed, is clamped in the removal opening (4) or snaps into it.
According to the invention, the reopening mechanism can consist in the fact that the beverage can closure element has a predetermined breaking lever which is used as a reopening lever, or that the reopening mechanism consists of one or more wings which are attached to the opening tab or formed in one piece with the opening tab, with the Wing is made of the same or a different material as the opening tab / are.
Alternatively or additionally, the reopening mechanism can also consist in that an opening mechanism is arranged on the other side of the opening flap, opposite the predetermined breaking lever, which can be used as an auxiliary opening mechanism or as the main opening mechanism, with the edge of the opening flap or one or more wings being used for reopening can be.
According to the invention, the upper side of the opening tab or the beverage can closure element can be designed in terms of shape and surface properties in such a way that it can be used for advertising purposes, images, logos, Numbering etc. can be used.
The invention also relates to a beverage can with a beverage can lid according to the invention and / or a beverage can closure element according to the invention.
According to the invention, the beverage can can be made of metal, preferably tinplate, and / or plastic and / or a combination of different materials.
According to the invention, the beverage can can be used for beverages, granular and / or powdered products, for sauces, for nuts or for other products.
The beverage can lid according to the invention can be manufactured, for example, in such a way that the lid is first punched in a conventional manner, but in such a way that the opening tab is shaped so that it can be inserted into the removal opening and locked and that it can be easily removed for reopening the removal opening can be raised again. The edge provided for the locking can be designed as a completely or partially circumferential edge, or consist of one or more protruding parts, and / or that a complete or partially circumferential stiffening groove is provided, which for more stability of the opening tab and for better locking ensures in the removal opening. Furthermore, the opening tab can be punched in such a way that one or more wings is / are integrally formed or that one or more wings is / are attached to the opening tab.
When handling the beverage can according to the invention, the beverage can can be opened by means of the opening tab and then the opening tab can be rotated through 180 ° or folded over to close the removal opening and to be able to lock, wherein locking members of the beverage can closure member by changing the shape of a surface of the beverage can closure member, based on the surface, are moved radially outward to lock the removal opening, and that the mechanism for canceling this change in shape is actuated, whereby the locking elements, based on the Surface, can be moved radially inwards to release the opening again.
To lock the removal opening, for example, in some exemplary embodiments of the invention, an upwardly curved surface of the opening tab can be pressed downwards in such a way that the curvature reverses, whereby the opening tab snaps into the removal opening and locks the lid, or that the upwards curved surface is pressed down, in such a way that the curvature decreases or even becomes completely flat, whereby the opening tab stretches and the edge of the opening tab is pushed outward, and whereby the opening tab snaps into the removal opening and locks the lid.
In some embodiments of the invention, in order to close the removal opening, the nose or the nose can clamp or snap into place on the edge of the opening tab for locking.
To lock the removal opening, the opening tab or the cover member can be pressed down, for example, in such a way that the curvatures of the curved surface are reversed, that is, the upwardly curved surface curves downward and the downwardly curved surface or partial surface follows above, whereby the opening tab or the cover member or the beverage can closure member snaps into the removal opening and locks.
The break lever can be used to reopen the beverage can be used as reopening lever, in such a way that the predetermined breaking lever, which was rotated together with the opening tab or the beverage can closure element, is pressed downwards, whereby the snapped-in edge is back inwards and the curved surface, which is less curved or in the snapped-in state was even flat, pushes upwards again, as a result of which the opening tab or the beverage can closure element detaches from the removal opening and can be rotated or folded back.
Alternatively or additionally, an opening mechanism can be provided or used for reopening, which is located on the other side of the opening flap, opposite the predetermined breaking lever, in such a way that the edge of the opening flap or one or more wings can be used to close the opening flap to solve.
To reopen the container, the wing (s) can be pressed down in such a way that the opening tab nbzw. The beverage can closure element assumes its original shape again, or that the wing (s) is / are raised and pulled upwards.
After the beverage can has been opened, the opening tab or beverage can closure element or beverage can closure element can be rotated or folded over and pressed into the removal opening. Locking elements can be provided in order to prevent the opening tab or the beverage can closure element from becoming detached from the removal opening and a reopening mechanism can be provided in order to be able to open the removal opening again.
The opening tab used for reclosing or the beverage can closure element used for reclosing can easily be accommodated in the circular disk-shaped, upwardly open cavity, which is formed between the middle lid part and the upper edge of the can, especially if it consists of a thin stamped sheet metal part. This means that the lid according to the invention can be produced by conventional machines without major adjustments.
The removal opening can be reliably closed and locked, and dirt, dust and vermin cannot get into the opened can. The contents cannot be spilled to any significant extent at the workplace, when playing or when staying in moving vehicles. The subject of the invention can even be closed and locked sufficiently so that its contents do not escape to any significant extent even if the can falls over. A can equipped in this way is also very environmentally friendly, since the opening tab or the beverage can closure element, which is used for reclosing, always remains connected to the can.
The locking elements are designed in such a way that the opening tab or beverage can closure element or beverage can closure element snaps into the removal opening and is locked when it is closed again. For this purpose, the opening tab or the beverage can closure element preferably has an upwardly curved surface or partial surface, and preferably has a circumferential edge that can snap into the removal opening. The surface or the partial surface can be round, oval, trapezoidal with rounded corners, bridge-shaped, groove-shaped, rectangular, square, triangular, polygonal or the like. Or it can have any other shape, possibly also with rounded corners. The surface or the partial surface can also consist of combinations of different shapes, for example angular and round shapes.
The curved surface or partial surface can also be directed downwards or the upwardly curved surface partially has a downwardly directed surface. The downward-facing surface or partial surface makes reclosing and locking easier.
In some embodiments of the invention, the locking can come about in the following way: the upwardly curved surface is pressed downward in such a way that the curved surface presses the edge of the opening tab or beverage can closure element or beverage can closure element radially outward as a result of this change in shape ; the opening tab or the beverage can closure element snaps into the removal opening and locks the lid. The snap-in edge can be a completely or partially circumferential edge, or also consist of one or more protruding parts. A complete or partially circumferential stiffening groove, e.g. in the form of an offset, in the form of a depression or in the form of an elevation, can ensure more stability of the opening tab or the beverage can closure element and better snapping into the removal opening.
In some embodiments of the invention, the reopening mechanism can consist in that a predetermined breaking lever (ie the lever that is used to break the predetermined breaking line) is used as the reopening lever, in such a way that the predetermined breaking lever, which rotates together with the opening tab or the beverage can closure element or was folded down, pushing the snapped and locked edge inward again and pushing the curved surface, which extended downward in the snapped and locked state, upward again. In this way, the opening tab or the beverage can closure element is released from the removal opening; the opening tab or the The beverage can closure element can thus be turned back or folded back and the beverage can can be emptied further. The curved surface that was pressed down for locking can also be less curved or even flat in the locked state.
Alternatively, the locking device can consist in that the edge of the removal opening is designed in such a way that the opening tab or beverage can closure element or beverage can closure element is clamped or latched in the removal opening when it is closed again. For locking in the removal opening, the edge of the opening tab or beverage can closure element or beverage can closure element has one or more lugs.
The reopening mechanism can alternatively consist of one or more wings which are fastened to the opening tab or the beverage can closure element or which is / are formed in one piece with the opening tab or the beverage can closure element. The wing (s) is / are made of the same or a different material as the opening tab or the beverage can closure element.
The part of the opening tab or the beverage can closure element which can reclose the removal opening can preferably have a flat surface or a surface raised from the plane. This surface raised from the plane can be a curved or multiply curved surface and can preferably be the cover member or an essential part of the cover member.
In addition, the shape and surface properties of the upper side of the opening tab or the beverage can closure element can be designed in such a way that it can be used for advertising purposes, images, logos, numbering, etc.
The description also relates to a container with a closure member or lid according to the invention, wherein the container can be made from an environmentally friendly material such as metal, preferably tinplate, or plastic, or from a combination of different materials. Such a container can be used, for example, for beverages, for granular or powdery products, for sauces, for nuts or for other products.
If the container is a beverage can, the lid, in particular the opening tab or the beverage can closure element, can have one or more holes through which tubular objects, such as straws, can be passed.
The description also includes a method for producing a lid, wherein the lid is first punched in a conventional manner, but in such a way that the opening tab or the beverage can closure element is shaped so that it can be inserted into the removal opening. For this purpose, the opening tab or the beverage can closure element has a circumferential edge which can snap or snap into the removal opening or can be clamped therein. Alternatively, the edge of the opening tab or the beverage can closure element can have one or more lugs.
The description also includes a method for opening, reclosing and reopening the container. For reopening, for example, the predetermined breaking lever can be pressed down, whereby the edge locked by snapping, latching or wedging is released and the opening tab or beverage can closure element can be rotated or folded back. Alternatively, one or more wings can be provided for opening and also for reopening the container in order to prevent the To be able to solve the opening tab or beverage can closure element.
Although the invention relates in particular to a lid for a beverage can, other applications are also possible, e.g. as a beverage can closure element to temporarily close bottles or similar containers or as a cover for e.g. camera lenses or similar objects.
