  • the sampling element makes it possible to take fluid from the reservoir.
  • the closure member may be removed from the attachment base by pulling the sample element out of the reservoir through the orifice of the base. Then, the user can apply the fluid product of the sample element to the desired application surface.
  • the sampling element can be in the form of a small plastic stem on which a small amount of perfume can be attached.
  • the sampling element may be in other forms allowing a larger sample of fluid.
  • the present invention provides a fluid product applicator device comprising a fluid reservoir comprising a neck defining an inner wall defining an opening, an attachment base sealingly mounted on the neck of the reservoir, the base defining a orifice, and a closure member adapted to close the orifice of the base, the closure member comprising a sampling member and / or fluid application that extends through the orifice of the base in the tank, in which the base forms in one-piece manner the dewatering means for dewatering the sampling and / or application element when it is withdrawn from the tank, characterized in that the dewatering means are movable between an initial position before mounting on the neck and a final position after mounting on the neck, the dewatering means being forced into the final position by the neck of the tank.
  • the wiping means are an integral part of the base, there is no additional piece to be mounted in the applicator device. It is the simple assembly of the base on the neck of the tank which will set up the means of spinning inside the tank.
  • the dewatering means are constrained in the final position by the inner wall of the neck.
  • the dewatering means may comprise a plurality of lugs which are movable radially inwards towards the sampling and / or application element by contact with the neck.
  • the tabs define upper ends of junction and lower free ends, these free ends being movable radially inwardly by pivoting tabs around the joining ends.
  • each tab comprises an outer cam profile near its junction end, this cam profile engaging with the inner wall of the neck to rotate the free end of the tab inwardly.
  • the free ends of the tabs are separated from each other by slots in the initial position, and are substantially contiguous in the final position to define together a spin ring.
  • the number of legs, and therefore of slots can vary from two to more than ten.
  • the tabs may be rigid or indeformable in themselves, but nevertheless movable by pivoting at their upper ends junction with the rest of the mounting base.
  • the rigidity of the tabs makes it possible to create in the final assembly position a rigid wringing ring which does not tend to deform during the dewatering operation of the sampling element.
  • the inner wall of the neck comprises an internal inlet chamfer to initiate the displacement of the wiping means from their initial position to their final position.
  • the entry chamfer not only prevents the drying means, for example the legs, positively abut on the upper edge of the neck, but also ensures that the spinning means will be moved appropriately to reach their position final assembly in which they form the wringing crown.
  • This chamfer input thus fulfills a dual function.
  • the base comprises a sealing skirt adapted to come into sealing contact with the wall internal collar, the dewatering means being integrally formed in the extension of the skirt.
  • the dewatering means particularly when made in the form of tabs separated by slots, form an integral part of the skirt which can thus be divided into two sections, namely a continuous rigid upper section, and a discontinuous lower section which is deformable radially inwardly.
  • said base and said closure member are made integrally by being connected to each other by a brittle material bridge during a first use.
  • the orifice of the base is delimited by a peripheral edge connected by said material bridge to a junction surface of the sampling element and / or application, said peripheral edge coming into sealing contact against a surface of sealing said sampling element and / or application after a rupture of said material bridge. It is thus possible to produce in one piece the closure member and the base which form the dewatering means.
  • the closure member after its first withdrawal from the base, is repositionable on the base sealingly and advantageously ratchet.
  • the fluid dispenser of the invention comprises a reservoir 1 on which a stopper is mounted, which comprises a fixing base 2 and a shutter member 3.
  • the reservoir 1 is intended to contain fluid, such as a varnish or gloss (gloss), a mascara, an ointment, a cream, a lotion or a perfume. It can be made of glass or plastic.
  • the tank 1 has a neck 11 forming an opening 10 communicating the interior of the tank with the outside.
  • the neck 1 has an inner wall 1 delimiting the opening 10 of the neck, an upper end 13 and an outer wall 15.
  • a hooking flange 16 is formed at the outer wall 15: this flange will be used for the fixation of the collar 2.
  • the neck 11 also forms an inlet chamfer 14 which connects the upper end 13 to the inner wall 12. This chamfer 14 facilitates the mounting of the base on the neck 11, but still fulfills another function , as will be seen below.
  • the tank comprises a barrel 18, closed by a bottom 19.
  • the outer wall of the barrel 18 may for example be cylindrical circular.
  • the capacity of the tank is generally of the order of a few milliliters.
  • the cap as mentioned above, comprises two constituent elements, namely, the fixing base 2 and the shutter member 3.
  • the fixing base 2 comprises a radial plate 20, a sealing skirt 21 and a fixing ring 22.
  • the radial plate 20 forms an upper surface, advantageously circular and flat.
  • the sealing skirt 21 extends axially downwards from the radial plate 20.
  • the ring 22 extends axially from the outer periphery of the radial plate 20 concentrically to the sealing skirt 21 and has a lower end provided with a detent profile 220, which projects inwards.
  • the ring 22 is in contact with the outer wall 15 and the snap profile 220 is then engaged under the flange 16.
  • the ring 22 is extends in alignment with the barrel 18, so as to advantageously confer a tubular general appearance.
  • the radial plate 20 is advantageously arranged so as to rest on the upper end 13 of the neck.
  • the sealing skirt 21 is housed in the opening of the neck, preferably in sealing contact with the inner wall 12 so as to avoid any possibility of leakage between the neck and the base.
  • the fixing base 2 further comprises wiper means 25 which are made integrally with the rest of the base.
  • the fixing base 2 is a piece of molded injected plastic which forms in one piece the plate 20, the skirt 21, the ring 22 and the wiper means 25.
  • These spinning means 25 are located, in the non-limiting embodiment of the invention, in the extension of the skirt 21: more precisely, the skirt 21 comprises a lower end 211 to which the dewatering means 25 are connected in one-piece fashion.
  • the dewatering means 25 are an integral part of the skirt 21, which comprises an upper part intended to seal with the inner wall 12 of the neck and a lower part forming the draining means 25.
  • dewatering means 25 it is also possible to directly connect the dewatering means 25 to the tray 20 without forming a sealing skirt 21. It is also possible to connect the dewatering means 25 to the tray 20 by an intermedia section This function does not necessarily fulfill the function of the sealing skirt 21. The function and use of the dewatering means 25 will be described hereinafter.
  • the spinning means 25 comprise, in this nonlimiting embodiment, several tabs 26 which are connected to the lower end 211 of the skirt 21. These tabs 26 are separated by slots 27 of longitudinal shape which extend initially. axially. The slots 27 are open downwards and extend to the level of the lower end 211 of the skirt 21.
  • Each lug 26 comprises an upper end of junction 261 connected to the lower end 211 of the skirt 21 and a free bottom end 262.
  • Each tab further comprises, near the upper end of junction 261, a cam profile 263 which projects radially outwardly. This cam profile 263 is located on the outer face of the tab 26, while its inner face may be cylindrical without forming a particular profile.
  • the tabs 26, which together constitute the dewatering means 25, are movable radially inwards by pivoting about their joining ends 261.
  • the tabs 26 are thus movable or movable between an initial position before mounting on the neck represented on the Figures 1 and 2 , and a final position after mounting on the neck shown on the Figures 5 to 8 .
  • the final position after mounting on the neck is obtained by pivoting the lugs 26 about their upper ends 261 inwardly.
  • the lugs 26, although displaced by pivoting inwards, remain substantially rigid or indistinct except at the junction between their upper ends 261 and the lower end 211 of the skirt 21.
  • the tabs 26 are substantially indeformable and are therefore displaced without undergoing significant deformation between the initial position and the final position. The displacement between these two positions is generated by contacting the cam profile 263 with the inner wall 12 of the neck 11.
  • the outer diameter of the dewatering means 25 at the cam profiles 263 of the tabs 26 is greater at the internal diameter of the neck at the inner wall 12.
  • the dewatering means are of substantially cylindrical shape.
  • the engagement of the dewatering means 25 within the neck 11 has the effect of bringing the cam profiles 263 into contact with the inner wall 12.
  • the lower ends 262 of the legs are engaged with the inside the neck 11: this commitment is facilitated by the entry chamfer 14 which avoids any risk of frank stop on the upper end 13 of the neck. Since the tabs flare outwardly from the lower ends 262 to the level of the cam profile 263, they will necessarily come into contact with the inner wall 12 and / or with the input chamfer 14.
  • the cam profiles 263 are not yet engaged inside the inner wall 12. They are at this point situated just above or at the height of the upper end 13. The contact between the drying means 25 and the neck 11 has not yet occurred. Similarly, the outer ring 22 has not yet come into contact with the neck 11. By continuing to engage the fixing base 2 in and around the neck 11, the ring 22 engages around the outer wall 15 of the collar deforming radially outwardly and the wiper means 25 are located, with their cam profile 263, at the inner wall 12. This is shown in FIG. figure 4 . Since the profiles 263 define a diameter greater than that of the inner wall 12, the tabs 26 are forced to pivot inwards. Since the cam profiles 263 are located near the upper joint ends 261, the pivoting is accentuated by a leverage effect, causing the free lower ends 262 to move rapidly radially inwardly toward each other. each other.
  • the dewatering means 25 are in their final operating position.
  • the tabs 26 are pivoted at the maximum radially inwards under the camming effect generated between the profiles 263 and the inner wall 12.
  • the cam profiles 263 are located substantially close to the lower end of the neck at a height of 1 cm.
  • the lower free ends 262 of the tabs all together define a wringing ring 260.
  • the lower ends 262 are advantageously in contact with one another to form a continuous ring.
  • the slots 27 which separate the tabs 26 are tightened or closed at the lower ends 262, while at the upper ends 261, the width of the slots has remained unchanged.
  • the slots change from a substantially rectangular shape to a substantially triangular shape.
  • the closure member 3 preferably made of molded injected plastic material, comprises a gripping element 30 and a sampling and / or fluid application member 31.
  • the gripping element 30, intended to be grasped by a user during a fluid application may have all appropriate shapes.
  • the gripping element 30 has two opposite faces having a curved shape and more particularly concave. This embodiment is particularly advantageous, facilitating the grip of the shutter member 3 and its removal from the tank 1.
  • Element 31 has an elongated overall configuration. It comprises a rod 314 connected at its upper end to the gripping element 30 and defining at its lower end a sample / application section 315 which can be made with an absorbent material.
  • This section 315 may be in the form of a brush or a cylindrical pad, the outer diameter is advantageously greater than that of the rod 314.
  • the sampling element 31 also serves to facilitate the refitting of the closure member on the base.
  • the element 31 advantageously comprises a junction surface 310, a ratchet cord 311 and a sealing surface 312.
  • the junction surface 310 is a circular cylindrical surface extending around the circumference of the element 31.
  • the cord detent 311 forms an annular bead protruding radially from the element 31.
  • the sealing surface 312 also corresponds to a circular cylindrical surface extending around the periphery of the element 31.
  • the joining surface 310 and sealing surface 312 are located on either side of the ratchet bead 311. In the embodiment shown in the various figures, the joining surface 310 is located below the bead. snap 311, while the sealing surface 312 is located between the ratchet cord 312 and the base 302 of the gripping member 30.
  • the sealing surface 312 thus defines a housing t tight snap between the cord 311 and the base 302.
  • the sampling element 31 advantageously extends from the base 302 through the base 2 into tank 1.
  • the height at which the section 315 of the element 31 extends can vary greatly.
  • the element 31 may have a very short rod 314 not exceeding the height of the base 2, or on the contrary, a very long rod coming almost in contact with the bottom 19 of the tank 1.
  • the closure member 3 is advantageously made integrally with the base 2. As shown in the figures, the closure member 3, at the outlet of the mold, is connected by a bridge of annular material 23 to the base 2. More specifically, the material bridge 23 connects the junction surface 310 of the element 31 to a peripheral edge 200 formed by the radial plate 20.
  • This configuration has the advantage of guaranteeing a safety of first use, the product contained in the tank can not be extracted before rupture of the material bridge 23.
  • This material bridge during the first use, must be broken. This break is effected by a movement of traction, thrust or rotation of the closure member 3 relative to the base. Such a rupture then results in the creation of an orifice 24 delimited by the peripheral edge 200 of the radial plate 20.
  • the shutter member 3 can then be freely extracted from the tank 1 and the base 2 This configuration thus gives rise to a shutter member 3 in the open position compatible with the sampling and the application of product.
  • the orifice 24 is advantageously formed in the center of the radial plate 20 and that this orifice has all appropriate shapes: circular, oblong, elliptical, etc.
  • the size of the orifice 24 is advantageously such that the fluid product will be retained by capillarity at the orifice if the dispenser is tilted, or even returned.
  • the orifice 24 will advantageously have a restricted diameter of the order of 2 to 6 mm and preferably of the order of 3 to 4 mm.
  • peripheral edge 200 forming the orifice 24 initially serves as a point of attachment for the bridge of brittle material and then of the annular sealing zone in cooperation with the sealing surface 312 of the closure member .
  • the closure member can be put back in place.
  • the shutter member can then define a closed closed position. This position allows the closure member 3 to be firmly held on the base 2.
  • a detent system is provided. This latching system implements a cooperation between the peripheral edge 200 of the base 2 and the ratchet cord 311 of the element 31. This cooperation takes place following a pressure of the shutter member sufficiently strong so that the peripheral edge 200 crosses the ratchet cord 311. Once the ratchet cord 311 has passed, the peripheral edge 200 retained by the ratchet cord 311 holds the closure member in the closed re-closing position. In this position, the peripheral edge 200 is then engaged sealing with the sealing surface 312 of the element 31 thus avoiding any possibility of product leakage between the element 31 and the base 2.
  • the mounting base 2 integrally forms the draining means 25, and may advantageously also be integrally formed with the closure member.
  • the wringing ring 260 formed by the free lower ends 262 of the tabs 26 extends around the rod 314 creating a contact or leaving a small annular gap. Light friction free contact is advantageous because it allows the wring ring 260 to gently scrape the rod 314 for cleaning and keeping it clean.
  • the applicator device of the invention When a user wants to use for the first time the applicator device of the invention, it must first separate the closure member 3 of the attachment base 2 by breaking the material bridge 23. This is performs by pulling, twisting or rotating. Then, the user can extract the sampling and application member 31 from the reservoir through the base 2. This extraction is performed by first sliding the rod 314 through the wiper means 25. The wring ring 260 will thus slide with friction or not along the rod 314 to the level of the sampling section / application 315.
  • the Figures 7 and 8 represent the applicator device in this position.
  • the sampling / application section 315 is located just below the spin ring 260, and will be pulled through the ring 260 for the purpose of partially wringing it out to leave only the amount of fluid product needed. Since the section 315 has a section slightly greater than that of the rod 314, but its consistency is soft, flexible spongy and / or deformable, the section 315 will deform in contact with the wringer 260 to express a part of the fluid product that she took from the tank. Once the shutter member 3 is completely removed from the base 2, the user can apply the fluid collected by the section 315. When the user has finished the application, he introduces the element 31 again in the reservoir through the base 2.
  • dewatering means are an integral part of the part which is fixed to the reservoir, and advantageously, this fastener is made integrally with the closure member which forms the element of sampling and application that will be wrung out through the spinning means.
