Definitions
- the invention relates to a needle for knitting machines.
- Such slides have at least two legs which run in a slide channel and are held by a central web at a distance.
- a needle with a central bar is also known.
- This is designed as a separate intermediate wall element, which is subsequently used in the needle body and connected to this inseparable.
- the slide channel of this needle is limited by two side walls and a bottom.
- a larger opening extending through both the floor and partially through a side wall receives an extension of the intermediate wall element. Through the opening of the extension is accessible from the side. He is caulked with the needle body, so that a permanent immobile connection is given.
- the production cost is considerable.
- the resulting needle has due to the asymmetrical with respect to the center plane attachment of said opening to a significant weakening. subject the needle, for example, by the train of hanging on her knit a bending load, the center bar can solve.
- it is relatively difficult to achieve sufficient accuracy with this concept in particular with regard to the positioning of the intermediate wall element.
- the uncontrollably moving intermediate wall element can lead to considerable damage to the knitting machine.
- the opening in the bottom of the slide channel is preferably formed slit-like. It preferably extends in Schieberkanalllindsraum.
- the opening holds on both side walls each one at a distance.
- on both sides of the preferably slot-like opening strip-shaped bottom areas are present, which border on the one hand to a respective side wall and on the other hand to the opening.
- These two strip-shaped bottom regions are preferably located in a common plane.
- the bottom regions preferably form sliding surfaces for the two legs of the slider.
- the elongated oval slot for example, is surrounded by the floor along its entire circumference.
- the intermediate wall element has a substantially rectangular shape and is formed as a thin planar flat part. It preferably has a spring part which is held centrally by the foot extension parallel between the side walls.
- the foot extension is preferably a flat member centrally positioned through the preferably slot-like opening so that the spring member thereby maintains its precise alignment parallel to the side walls.
- the intermediate wall element is generally held with some longitudinal play and / or with some side play.
- the foot extension is preferably anchored positively on the ground, wherein the positive engagement can be achieved both by permanent deformation, such as bending or by the resilient action of the foot extension or sections thereof.
- ends of the foot extension are bent transversely.
- the intermediate wall element can thereby be fixed or held with little play.
- the game may be a longitudinal game that exists in the slider movement direction. Additionally or alternatively, a certain transverse play may be present, so that the intermediate wall element is slightly laterally movable. In this way, unwanted clamping of the slide can be safely excluded.
- portions of the foot extension may be bent longitudinally below the floor. Again, it is again possible to keep the partition element with a certain amount of play. The play can take place in the slider channel longitudinal direction, i. in Schieberschis therapies as well as be given transversely thereto.
- intermediate wall element resiliently, for example by latching means on the needle body.
- elastic elements or resiliently mounted elements can be provided on the foot extension or alternatively on the spring part.
- resilient portions may be, for example, resilient tongues, which can be inexpensively produced by attaching corresponding cuts on the intermediate wall element.
- a recess is preferably provided, which can accommodate in particular bent portions of the foot process. This ensures that no sections of the foot process protrude beyond the needle back.
- the positive connection can be secured by a cohesive means such as an adhesive or a security lacquer or a weld.
- FIG. 1 a slider needle 1 is shown simplified.
- This slider needle 1 has-a needle body 2, at one end of a hook 3 is formed.
- the tip 4 of the hook 3 is aligned with a slide channel 7 defined between two side walls 5, 6, which is designed to receive a slide 8.
- This comprises two legs 9, 10, which are preferably designed as flexible lamellae.
- the lugs 11, 12 extending away from the end faces of the slats serve to open and close the hook 3.
- the slider 8 is moved back and forth in the slide channel 7 in the longitudinal direction.
- To drive the slider 8 are provided on the slats 9, 10 provided feet 13, 14.
- the slats 9, 10 also held and / or driven otherwise.
- they can be part of a one-piece slider.
- an intermediate wall member 15 is arranged, whose thickness is chosen appropriately and, for example, the thickness of the slats 9, 10 and / or the side walls 5, 6 correspond .
- the intermediate wall element 15 is preferably a flat, flat sheet metal part, which holds the two blades 9, 10 away from each other. It can be arranged at any suitable point of the slide channel 7, for example in the immediate vicinity of the hook 3 as in FIGS. 2 and 3 illustrated or at a slightly greater distance from the hook 3, for example at a point 16, as in FIG. 1 indicated.
- FIG. 4 illustrates the slide channel according to a needle cross-section along the line IV-IV according to FIG. 3 ,
- the slide channel 7 is bounded by the two side walls 5, 6 and a bottom 17, the slide channel 7 after below, ie delimited to the needle back 18 out.
- the bottom 17 is penetrated by an opening 19 which leads to the needle back 18.
- the opening 19 may have any suitable shape. For example, it is slit-shaped. It then extends as a slot preferably in the longitudinal direction of the slide channel, ie parallel to the side walls 5, 6 and the slats 9, 10th
- the slot-like opening 19 is preferably arranged centrally in the slide channel 7. It is preferably narrower than the same. Thus, on both sides of the opening 19 strip-shaped bottom portions 20, 21 are formed, each of which adjoin the outside of the inner surfaces 22, 23 of the side walls 5, 6 and the inside of the slot-like opening 19. Toward the needle back 18, the opening 19 preferably opens into a recess 24 which, for example, extends over the entire width of the needle body 2 and at least over the entire length of the opening 19 formed as a slot.
- the intermediate wall element 15 has a spring part 25 which extends between the slats 9, 10, and at least one foot extension 26 which projects through the slot formed by the opening 19.
- the foot extension 26 may reach into the opening 19 of the bottom 17 with little play.
- the foot extension 26 guides the intermediate wall element 15 in the lateral direction, since it can rest against the inner surfaces of the opening 19 of the base 17 facing one another.
- the intermediate wall element 15 is preferably a sheet metal part with a uniform sheet thickness.
- sections 27, 28 of the foot extension 26 can be laterally bent in different directions in the transverse direction of the needle, as a result of which these sections 27, 28 of the foot extension 26 engage under the floor 17.
- the conditions are in FIG. 5 again from another Viewing direction shown.
- the laterally bent portions 27, 28 of the foot extension 26 are completely received by the recess 24. They therefore do not protrude beyond the needle back 18.
- the intermediate wall element 15 is positively positioned by the foot extension 26 and the bottom 17 cross-engaging portions 27, 28 and centrally.
- the intermediate wall element 15 can, as in particular FIG. 5 implies to have some longitudinal play. Besides, it can have some lateral play.
- the intermediate wall element 15 thus has an at least slight play, for example, in the lateral direction and or in the longitudinal direction, it is held captive on the slide needle 18 in all operating situations so that it is captive.
- An intermediate element 15 according to FIG. 5 is positioned in the needle body 2 by being inserted into the opening 19 from the needle back 18.
- FIG. 6 Another way to attach the intermediate wall element 15 to the needle 1 is made FIG. 6 combined with FIG. 7 out.
- the above description applies to this embodiment, with the exception of the differences explained below, based on the already introduced reference numerals.
- FIG. 8 shows.
- two slot-like openings 19a, 19b are provided here, which can pass into corresponding recesses 24a, 24b.
- foot extensions 26a, 26b may be held, which stabilize the intermediate wall element 15 in the lateral direction.
- the foot extensions 26a, 26b have resilient portions 29a, 30a, 29b, 30b serving as latching fingers, which engage behind the edge of each opening 19a, 19b and thus under the floor 17.
- FIG. 9 again illustrates an embodiment of the slider needle 1, in which the intermediate wall element 15 is secured by permanent deformation in place.
- two foot extensions 26a, 26b are provided here (in FIG. 9 left and right) but only one or even three or more such foot extensions can be provided.
- Each foot extension 26a, 26b has sections 27a, 28a, 27b, 28b, respectively. These stick out, like FIG. 9 shows, through the respective slot-like opening 19a, 19b. You are there in the needle longitudinal direction bent forwards or backwards to under the Bottom 17 to grab.
- the recess 24a, 24b may extend over the entire needle width or be only narrower. For example, it is limited to the width of the slot 19a, 19b.
- the intermediate wall element 15 according to FIG. 7 . 8 and 9 is positioned in the needle body 2, in which the foot extension 26 is inserted from the top of the needle in the opening 19 and locked.
- the intermediate wall element 15 can in turn be held with some play, which can be given in the longitudinal direction and / or transverse direction.
- FIG. 10 Another embodiment illustrated FIG. 10 , There, the intermediate wall element 15 is inserted from the needle back side in the needle body 2.
- the foot extension 26 is here longer in the needle longitudinal direction than the spring member 25.
- On the spring member 25 by attaching a suitable recess 43, 44 resilient fingers 37, 38 are released, whose end faces 39, 40 are supported as latching surfaces on the bottom 17.
- the lugs 41, 42 of the foot extension 26, which extend in the longitudinal direction and which face the respective end faces 39, 40, engage under the floor 17.
- FIG. 11 Another way to attach the intermediate wall element 15 to the needle 1 is made FIG. 11 out.
- the above description applies to this embodiment, with the exception of the differences explained below, based on the already introduced reference numerals.
- an intermediate wall element 15 according to FIG. 11 have at least one clip in the form of a resiliently held part 29.
- This spring-mounted part 29 has an end face 40 in the installed state cooperates with the bottom 17 of the slide channel.
- An intermediate wall element 15 according to FIG. 11 is positioned in the needle body 2 by being inserted from the needle back 18 into the opening 19 with a rotational movement.
- the clip 29 opposite end of the intermediate wall element 15 is inserted into the opening 19 and then locked by means of a pivoting movement.
- the end face 40 of the clip 29 is positioned above the bottom 17.
- the intermediate wall element 15 can thus be clipped into the needle base body 2.
- the slider needle 1 has an intermediate wall element 15 which is clipped in through an opening 19 in the needle base body 2, for example from below.
- the intermediate wall element 15 is formed so that, although it can be easily used, but still safe by positive engagement, but possibly held with some play in the needle body 2.
- It has a spring part 25 and a foot extension 26 which cooperates with the bottom 17 of the slide slot.
- the foot extension 26 preferably has two oppositely bent portions 27, 28 27a, 28a. These can be bent in the transverse direction or in the longitudinal direction of the otherwise flat intermediate wall element 15.
- the back 18 of the needle body 2 has, in the region of the opening 19, which may be in the form of one of the insertion slot, a recess 24, so that the bent portion 27, 28, 27 a, 28 a can not protrude beyond the needle back 18.
- the spring member 25 is preferably an integral part of the intermediate wall element 15. This eliminates the loss of the spring member 15. An inexpensive production is possible.

Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schiebernadel für Strickmaschinen. The invention relates to a needle for knitting machines.
There are known sliding needles with split slider. Such slides have at least two legs which run in a slide channel and are held by a central web at a distance.
If any element, such as the intermediate wall element, loosens from the needle and then enters the knitting machine, the uncontrollably moving intermediate wall element can lead to considerable damage to the knitting machine.
On this basis, it is an object of the invention to provide an improved concept for slider needles with central web part.
- The slider needle according to the invention has a needle body, wherein the bottom of the slide channel is provided with at least one opening. Through this extends a foot extension of an arranged in the slide channel intermediate wall element. The foot extension engages under the bottom of the slide channel and thus secures the intermediate wall element form fit in the slide channel. By the foot extension engages under the ground is ensured that the intermediate wall element can not solve the needle and move uncontrolled in the knitting machine.
The opening in the bottom of the slide channel is preferably formed slit-like. It preferably extends in Schieberkanallängsrichtung. In a preferred embodiment, the opening holds on both side walls each one at a distance. In other words, on both sides of the preferably slot-like opening strip-shaped bottom areas are present, which border on the one hand to a respective side wall and on the other hand to the opening. These two strip-shaped bottom regions are preferably located in a common plane. The bottom regions preferably form sliding surfaces for the two legs of the slider. In other words, the elongated oval slot, for example, is surrounded by the floor along its entire circumference.
The intermediate wall element has a substantially rectangular shape and is formed as a thin planar flat part. It preferably has a spring part which is held centrally by the foot extension parallel between the side walls. The foot extension is preferably a flat member centrally positioned through the preferably slot-like opening so that the spring member thereby maintains its precise alignment parallel to the side walls. Preferably, the intermediate wall element is generally held with some longitudinal play and / or with some side play.
The foot extension is preferably anchored positively on the ground, wherein the positive engagement can be achieved both by permanent deformation, such as bending or by the resilient action of the foot extension or sections thereof. In a preferred embodiment, ends of the foot extension are bent transversely. The intermediate wall element can thereby be fixed or held with little play. The game may be a longitudinal game that exists in the slider movement direction. Additionally or alternatively, a certain transverse play may be present, so that the intermediate wall element is slightly laterally movable. In this way, unwanted clamping of the slide can be safely excluded.
Also, portions of the foot extension may be bent longitudinally below the floor. Again, it is again possible to keep the partition element with a certain amount of play. The play can take place in the slider channel longitudinal direction, i. in Schieberbewegungsrichtung as well as be given transversely thereto.
It is also possible to support the intermediate wall element resiliently, for example by latching means on the needle body. For this purpose, elastic elements or resiliently mounted elements can be provided on the foot extension or alternatively on the spring part. Such resilient portions may be, for example, resilient tongues, which can be inexpensively produced by attaching corresponding cuts on the intermediate wall element.
At the needle back a recess is preferably provided, which can accommodate in particular bent portions of the foot process. This ensures that no sections of the foot process protrude beyond the needle back.
In addition to the positive connection of the intermediate wall element with the needle body, the positive connection can be secured by a cohesive means such as an adhesive or a security lacquer or a weld.
