Description

The invention relates to a self-service system for deposit and withdrawal of coins with a device for entering coins and a device for dispensing coins.

Für den Betrieb der beiden voneinander getrennten Systeme fallen jeweils erhebliche Betriebskosten an.From self-service zones of banks are known self-service machines for coin supply and disposal of coins. Coins (change supply) are supplied to retailers by the provision of defined coin packages (eg in the form of coin rolls wrapped in paper). When disposing of the daily revenues, the bulk coin deposit plays an important role, with a plurality of coins being entered, for example, via a funnel-shaped input device. Currently exist in self-service environment for both applications separate systems, ie Massenmünzeinzahlungsautomaten and Münzrollenauszahlungsautomaten. Both systems are operated by the respective bank branches. The emptying of the coin-coin dispensing machines and the equipping of the coin-dispensing machines takes place in two completely separate processes by employees of the bank or by employees of value-transport companies. For the operation of the two separate systems each incur significant operating costs.

From the document WO 01/38173 A1 a device for handling coins is known, are summarized in the coins for re-dispensing bundles, for this purpose a packing mechanism is provided, comprising two film rolls. The packing mechanism manufactures from the foils coin bags in which the coins are received.

From the document WO 2005/104046 A1 a coin handling device is known in which coins can be entered and which returns the coins entered sorted according to their denomination.

The document EP 1 583 048 A1 discloses a method of making pouches comprising an RFID chip for applying information.

From the document US 6,320,928 B1 a device for handling coins is known, with the aid of coin rolls can be issued.

The object of the invention is therefore to issue a self-service system that is suitable for supplying coins and disposal of coins.

This object is achieved by a self-service system having the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

The combination of a coin dispensing device and a coin dispensing device in a self-service bagged package means that only one self-service system is required for coin supply and coin disposal. As a result, both the acquisition and the operating costs are reduced. Furthermore, the required space is reduced. Since the paid-in coins are paid out at least in part, the time intervals in which the self-service system coins must be supplied by an employee of the bank or a Werttransportunternehmens or removed from the self-service system, greater than a pure Münzeinzahlungsautomaten or a pure Münzrollenauszahlungsautomaten.

It is advantageous to provide a collection and packaging unit, with the aid of which the coins to be paid out are assembled and packaged only after a request by an operator to a coin package or mint. It is particularly distributive when the request of the operator gives an indication of the number of coins in the to be dispensed coin package and / or an indication of the value of the coins in the mint. This ensures that the value of the Münzgebindes and / or the composition of the Münzgebindes are freely selectable by the operator or within a preset range.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if with the aid of the collecting and packaging unit from the stock of deposited coins with respect to the number of coins and coin denominations pre-packaged coin packages are formed and stored in a Münzgebindespeicher, one of the or in the Münzgebindespeicher stored Münzgebinde on request of the operator these are issued. This ensures that the time required for the output of the requested by the operator Münzgebindes is reduced. It is particularly advantageous if the preset number of coins and the preset coin value of the pre-produced coin packages are selected such that the most frequently requested by the operator mint packages are formed.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the number, value and denomination of coins in the denomination are noted on the coin package of the packaged denomination as information. It is advantageous to provide a printing device for printing this information on the Münzgebindeverpackung. Alternatively, coin-box packages with pre-printed information may be used and the coins filled into the corresponding coin-box packages according to the pre-printed information. Through this printed information, the user quickly receives all the necessary information over the mint, which simplifies handling.

The coin packages are preferably packaged by means of the collection and packaging unit in such a way that a subsequent opening of the coin package can be detected. In this way, any manipulations can be detected easily and promptly.

As a Münzgebindeverpackungen preferably plastic bags are used. Such plastic bags are easy to produce and can be obtained inexpensively.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, a plastic bag supply is provided in the self-service system consisting of a plurality of interconnected disposed on a roll plastic bags. The plastic bags are unrolled for filling the coins in the collection and packaging unit of the plastic bag roll. The collection and packaging unit comprises a closure unit for closing the Kuriststoffbeutel after filling with the coins and a separating unit for separating the filled plastic bag from the plastic bag roll. In particular, the separating unit comprises a cutting element with which the last-filled plastic bag is cut off from the plastic bags of the plastic bag roll that have not yet been filled. This ensures that no waste is generated, whereby the maintenance costs can be reduced and the environmental friendliness can be increased. By using a plastic bag roll for the storage of plastic bags easy handling of the plastic bag, in particular a simple transport of the plastic bag from the plastic bag stock is achieved in the collection and packaging unit. Furthermore, so the not yet filled plastic bags can be easily fed to the self-service system. Alternatively, the plastic bags can be stored individually in the plastic bag stock. A filled plastic bag is preferably closed by welding.

It is furthermore advantageous if the plastic bags on the plastic bag roll each have at least one readable marking for the controlled transport of the plastic bags to the collecting and packing unit.

The collection and packaging unit preferably comprises a filling unit for filling the plastic bags with the coins. The filling unit in turn comprises, in particular, a blowing nozzle for opening a filling opening of the plastic bags by means of an air stream generated by the blowing nozzle and a filling funnel for feeding the coins into the plastic bag through the filling opening. In this way, a simple and reliable delivery of the coins is achieved in the plastic bag.

The plastic bags each include a back and a front, wherein the width of the back and the width of the front are the same and the height of the back is greater than the height of the front. The back and the front are joined together in such a way that through the front and a part of the back Receiving area for receiving the coins is formed. The plastic bags are produced in particular such that a film made of the plastic from which the plastic bags are made, unrolled from an endless roll and folded over each other with unequal leg length. In this way, the different height of the front and the back is achieved. The front and back sides are welded at a right angle to the transport direction of the film or the plastic bag with a welding line. In this way, a cost-effective production of the plastic bag or the plastic bag roll is achieved.

In FIG. 1 is a schematic representation of a self-service system for deposit and withdrawal of coins shown. In a deposit transaction, coins are entered into an input tray 12 by an operator and checked by a coin separator and counter 14. The deposited coins are conveyed by means of a sorting unit 16 into coin storages 18a to 18d or into an intermediate store 20. The cache 20 is also referred to as Escrow. After a payment confirmation by the operator, the cached in the buffer 20 coins are transported into a transport container 22. The deposit transaction is hereby completed. In the event of cancellation of the deposit transaction (cancellation), the coins are transferred from the buffer 20 and the coin stores 18a to 18d to a return bin 24 and issued to the operator.

In a payout transaction, a number of coin packs each formed from a plurality of coins are paid out. For this purpose, the number of coins necessary for the formation of the respective coin packs is taken from the respective coin stores 18a to 18d and singulated and transported to a collecting and packing unit 26 for collecting and packing the coins into coin packs. Here the coins are filled in a Münzgebindeverpackung through a filling opening of Münzgebindeverpackung and sealed the filling audit-proof, so that any manipulation can be detected quickly and easily. In particular, bags or sachets are used as coin container packages. The bags are made in particular of plastic. The bags are then stored in a coin store 28. From the coin binder storage 28, the bags can be transported for payment in a Auszahlfach 30 for the disbursement of Münzgebinden. The coin bin 28 can bring coin bundles, which were produced according to the operator's request, directly to the disbursement. Such coin bundles produced at the request of the operator are also referred to as "on-demand" produced coin packages. Alternatively or additionally, the Münzgebindespeicher 28 in the times in which the self-service system 10 is not operated by an operator (standby times), prefilled optimized location optimized with the most common coin packs to bring them then possibly without production time for payment. The coins constituting the denominations are, in particular, coins previously deposited in the self-service system 10 and stored in the coin stores 18a to 18d. If more coins are deposited in the self-service system 10 than are paid out again, the deposited coin surplus in the transport unit 22 can be taken from the self-service system 10 by a value-transporting company. Either audit-proof cassettes are available for this or the disposal takes place with the help of thin-walled transport containers, so-called safebags.

An emptying of the coin store 18a to 18d in the transport unit 22 is also possible. This is a Emptying of the entire coin stock by the Werttransportunternehmen possible. Since most of the self-service systems 10 for depositing and paying out coins are expected to be deposit-heavy, that is, more coins being deposited than being paid out, the provision of the coin recycling function may extend the depot removal interval. The deposit of coins and the payout of coins by a single machine is called a coin recycling function. The value carrier removal interval is the time interval between withdrawals of the transport unit 22 from the self-service system 10.

Before starting the withdrawal transaction, a bag is removed from a bag stock 32 and transported to the collection and packaging unit 10. The coins removed from the coin stores 18a to 18d fall through the filling opening of the bag into a receiving area of the bag. Subsequently, the bag and thus the Münzgebinde is sealed audit-proof by welding. After this process, the produced coin bundle is transported to the coin container intermediate storage 28. The nominal filling values are already printed on the bag and can be read from the outside. The bags, which have already been pre-printed with a standard print, are filled with the coins in accordance with the printed information. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, a printing unit for printing the bag with an individual print is provided in the collecting and packing unit 26. In either case, the print produced may include the contained denomination, the denomination and / or the number of coins.

In FIG. 2 a schematic representation of a bag 40 for receiving the coins is shown. Elements with the same structure or the same function have the same reference numerals.

The bag 40 includes a front 42 and a back 44. The width of the front 42 and the width of the back 44 are identical. The back 44 of the bag is made longer than the front 42, d. H. the back 44 has a greater height than the front 42. The front 42 and the back 44 are connected to the known 48, 50, 52 firmly together, so through the front 42 and a row of the back 44, a receiving area for receiving the coins of the Münzgebindes is formed.

The coins are fed to the receiving area of the bag 40 via a filling opening 54 in the direction of the arrow P1. The protrusion resulting from the different heights of the rear side 44 and the front side 42 is used as a transport and holding lug 46 for transporting and holding the bag 40. A mark 56 printed on the transport and holding pocket 46 serves to control the transport of the bag 40. The bag 40 is preferably made of printable plastic. The printable area 58 is in FIG. 2 indicated by the dashed rectangle.

The bag supply 32 is designed in particular in the form of a bag roll. The bag roll includes a plurality of bags 40 which are rolled out endlessly to the bag roll.

In FIG. 3 a schematic representation of such a bag roll is shown. The bags 60 to 64 are made laterally as a band and endlessly rollable on a roller 66. In spite of the general designation endless, the roll of bags comprises a finite number of pouches 60 to 64. A plurality of side-by-side, band-forming pouches 60 to 64 are also referred to as an endless pouch. The production of such endless bags can be carried out inexpensively by unrolling a film from a roll, folding it over one another with unequal side length and welding it with only one welding line perpendicular to the direction in which the film is unrolled from the roll 66. Subsequently, the stamps 68 to 72 are printed on the pouches 60 to 64. In the production of pouches 60 to 64 with a standard printing, this is also printed on the pouches 60 to 64. Subsequently, the thus produced bags 60 to 64 are rolled up on the roll 66.

Between two adjacent bags 60 to 64 is in each case a separating region 74, 76, in which a separating cut between the bags 60 to 64 can be set. One of these separating cuts is shown by the dashed line 78 and designated by the reference numeral 78 by way of example. The prefabricated bags 60 to 64 of the roll of bags are then unrolled in the transport direction P2 from the roll 66 and fed to the collection and packaging unit 26. The filled bags 60 to 64 are welded after filling. The weld of the bag 60 is shown by the dotted line 80.

The loading and clamping of a new bag roll into the bag stock 32 is simple and can be performed by an untrained operator, particularly a bank clerk. By the above-described manufacturing process of the bags 60 to 64, in particular by the separation of two adjacent bags 60 to 64 along the separating cut 78, the production of the bags 60 to 64, without waste is obtained.

In FIG. 4 is a schematic representation of the transport of an endless bag 90 along a transport path in the transport direction P3 shown. The endless bag 90 is unrolled from the roller 66 in operation of the self-service system 10 and transported between two toothed belts of a belt pair 92 along a transport path to the collection and packaging unit 26. There, the bags 60 to 64 of the endless bag 90 are opened and filled with the coins.

The belt pair 92 is guided and driven by means of a plurality of rollers 94a to 94f. According to the arrangement of the rollers 94a to 94f, the transport path may have any desired contour.

In FIG. 5 For example, four bags 100-106 are shown with coins 108 during filling of the bags 100-106. The collection and packaging unit 26 comprises a blast nozzle 110 for opening the filling opening 112 of the bag 102 via the introduction of an air flow into the bag 102. Furthermore, the collecting and packing unit 26 comprises a coin hopper 114 for feeding the coins 108 through the filling opening 112 in the receiving area of the bag 102nd

The arranged in the direction of transport P4 in front of the bag 102 and directly adjacent to this bag 102 bag 104 is already completely filled with the coins to be paid out 116. The bag 104 is printed in the area 118 and the filling opening 122 of the bag 104 is closed by welding in the welding area 120. By means of a separating element 124, the bag 104 is separated from the bag 102. The bag 106 is already separated from the other bags 100 to 104 and welded by the weld 126.

When filling a bag 102 with coins 108, in a first step, the endless bag 90 threaded into the belt pair 92 is moved in such a way that a still unfilled bag 102 hangs below the coin filling funnel 114. This position is also referred to as the starting position. In a second step, the filling opening 112 of the bag 102 is opened by means of the blowing nozzle 110 via the supply of an air flow into the bag 102. In the next step, the coin hopper 114 is lowered into the filling port 112 of the bag 102. The coins 108 fall into the bag 102. In the next step, the unillustrated drive advances the endless bag one position, ie, the next empty bag 100 is located below the coin hopper 114, during which the bag 102 being filled is transported to the next position. In the next step, the bag 102 is welded and then printed. Subsequently, the bag 102 is cut off from the bag roll and transported into the coin hopper 28.
