Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for controlling a filling process of a water-conducting household appliance, in particular a dishwasher or washing machine.
- Domestic water appliances such as dishwashers or washing machines, require a minimum amount of water for their operation.
- the inclusion of this minimum amount of water occurs during a filling step, which is usually at the beginning of a multi-step cleaning program.
- a cleaning program may comprise the steps of pre-rinsing, intermediate rinsing, cleaning, rinsing and drying. D. h., It is often necessary during a run of such a cleaning program that water-conducting household appliances to fill again with a minimum amount of water.
- a dishwashing machine which has a sensor for detecting water flowing into the household appliance water and a machine-controllable shut-off that flows in the open state water in the water-bearing household appliance and with a pump for conveying the incoming water into the household appliance water, wherein When the shut-off device is open, the fill sensor is monitored.
- known methods is not the recognition of a total failure of the filling sensor possible.
- shut-off is closed on the evaluation of the performance of the pump, so that overflow of the water-conducting household appliance is reliably prevented.
- an optical and / or acoustic error signal is generated on the evaluation of the performance characteristic of the pump. This can be done for example by a signal lamp, which is arranged on a control panel of the water-conducting household appliance.
- the inflow of water in the water-conducting household appliance is prevented in a new filling process.
- an operator can not trigger a renewed filling process by re-starting the water-conducting water device, which could then possibly lead to overflow of the water-conducting household appliance.
- the performance of the pump is preferably evaluated based on the power consumption or current consumption and / or controlled variables of a motor driving the pump.
- the load of the motor driving the pump is determined on the basis of the evaluated current consumption and / or controlled variable. It is thus recorded and evaluated whether it comes to an increase in load during operation of the pump by the promotion of already in the water-bearing household appliance water.
- the current consumption or current consumption and / or controlled variables of a controlled drive of the pump can be used to determine whether water is already present in the water-bearing domestic appliance after opening the controllable shut-off device.
- the pump is activated in a non-concentricity of the pump ensuring water quantity.
- the pump is activated in the case of a quantity of water which has flowed into the domestic appliance which is smaller than a quantity of water necessary for concentricity of the pump. That is, the pump is operated after opening the shut-off valve and after failure of a signal of the filling sensor with an amount of water in addition to water and air from the pump is sucked, resulting in a non-circular running of the pump.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for controlling a filling process of a water-conducting household appliance, in particular a dishwasher or washing machine.
Domestic water appliances, such as dishwashers or washing machines, require a minimum amount of water for their operation. The inclusion of this minimum amount of water occurs during a filling step, which is usually at the beginning of a multi-step cleaning program. In the case of a dishwasher, for example, such a cleaning program may comprise the steps of pre-rinsing, intermediate rinsing, cleaning, rinsing and drying. D. h., It is often necessary during a run of such a cleaning program that water-conducting household appliances to fill again with a minimum amount of water.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method that allows detection of a total failure of a filling sensor.
- Opening a shut-off device which can be activated on the machine for filling the water-bearing domestic appliance with water,
- Monitoring a filling sensor that detects water entering the water-bearing domestic appliance,
- Activation of a pump for conveying the water flowing into the household appliance water flowing out of at least one signal of the Füllsensors out, and
- Evaluation of the performance characteristics of the pump.
Characterized in that after opening the shut-off and failure of a signal of the filling sensor activation of the pump, it can be determined whether water flows through the shut-off in the water-bearing household appliance or there is a malfunction of the filling sensor. To verify the latter is provided to evaluate the performance of the pump, so as to determine whether water, for example. A minimum amount of 0.5 to 1 I is in the water-bearing household appliance. If this is the case, obviously the filling sensor has a defect, in the other case, however, there is a fault in the water supply network, which supplies the water-bearing household appliance with water, for example by blocking a supply line.
Thus, it is determined in a simple manner with the method according to the invention, whether the filling sensor of the water-conducting household appliance is functional or not and ends before the end of the filling process.
It is preferably provided that the shut-off is closed on the evaluation of the performance of the pump, so that overflow of the water-conducting household appliance is reliably prevented.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that an optical and / or acoustic error signal, in particular an error signal audible by an operator, is generated on the evaluation of the performance characteristic of the pump. This can be done for example by a signal lamp, which is arranged on a control panel of the water-conducting household appliance.
Finally, it is preferably provided that the inflow of water in the water-conducting household appliance is prevented in a new filling process. Thus, it is reliably prevented that in the case of a defective filling sensor, an operator can not trigger a renewed filling process by re-starting the water-conducting water device, which could then possibly lead to overflow of the water-conducting household appliance.
The performance of the pump is preferably evaluated based on the power consumption or current consumption and / or controlled variables of a motor driving the pump.
It is preferably provided that the load of the motor driving the pump is determined on the basis of the evaluated current consumption and / or controlled variable. It is thus recorded and evaluated whether it comes to an increase in load during operation of the pump by the promotion of already in the water-bearing household appliance water. Instead of the current consumption or current consumption and / or controlled variables of a controlled drive of the pump, other suitable variables can be used to determine whether water is already present in the water-bearing domestic appliance after opening the controllable shut-off device.
It is preferably provided that the pump is activated in a non-concentricity of the pump ensuring water quantity. In other words, the pump is activated in the case of a quantity of water which has flowed into the domestic appliance which is smaller than a quantity of water necessary for concentricity of the pump. That is, the pump is operated after opening the shut-off valve and after failure of a signal of the filling sensor with an amount of water in addition to water and air from the pump is sucked, resulting in a non-circular running of the pump. For example, it may be an amount of water from 0.5 to 1 l, while for a concentricity of the pump 3 to 4 1 water are required.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the activation of the pump after a period of time, in particular a predetermined Zeitspannet takes place. Thus, it is ensured in a simple manner that after opening the shut-off and a lack of at least one signal of the filling sensor towards a sufficient amount Collect water in water-bearing household appliance, which can be reliably detected by means of a non-running running pump. The length of the period of time is determined by the time required to detect the minimum detectable amount of 0.5 to 1 liter of water. The time span can be, for example, between 15 seconds and 1 minute.
It is further preferably provided that after a period of time, in particular a predetermined period of time and on the evaluation of the performance of the pump, the shut-off are closed, so that a further inflow of water is prevented.
It is further preferably provided that the filling sensor is a Fühlradzähler, so that a particularly simple structure is given.
In addition, it is preferably provided that the filling sensor is arranged in a supply line of the water-conducting household appliance, wherein the supply line allows to connect the water-conducting household appliance to a household water system.
Finally, it is preferably provided that the pump of a circulating pump for circulating liquid in the water-conducting household appliance or a drain pump for pumping liquid from the water-bearing household appliance.
Finally, the invention also includes a water-conducting household appliance, designed to carry out the method according to the invention.

The
To fill the dishwasher 2 with water at the beginning of a cleaning process, a
Finally, with the
At the beginning of a filling operation, the shut-off valve 6 is opened by the
If, on the other hand, no signal is transmitted to the
Subsequently, the
If it is ascertained on the basis of the load of the
Finally, by means of the
