Description

The invention relates to a protective equipment for containers with mounting corners for the merger of multiple containers to a container composite comprising a plurality of protective plates, which can be arranged to protect the container from ballistic threats in front of the side walls, the protective plates on the mounting corners in front of the side walls of the container can be fixed. Further objects of the invention form a container with mounting corners for the merger of a plurality of containers to form a container composite and a container composite of a plurality of such containers.

Containers are often used as standard containers with cubic geometry, especially for the storage and transport of goods in various, sometimes standardized sizes, for example for the transport of cargo on container ships. In order to secure the often in several layers above and next to each other arranged containers for transport, these have at their eight corners mounting corners, which are several containers together connect. The assembly corners are reinforced inside the containers and form the support points for the containers arranged in higher layers.

In addition to their function as storage and transport in freight and pre-designed containers for various purposes are known, including the container according to their provision with an interior and if necessary with windows, doors, etc. are provided. For example, residential, office, workshop, toilet or sanitary containers are known. If several containers are combined via their assembly corners, they can be used as large-area container spaces in the composite if required. Such container composites are known per se and are used in prepared places when the corresponding premises must be provided quickly and inexpensively for a limited period of time, for example on large construction sites, in disaster areas, etc.

In the military sector such container composites are also used in areas where the container composite is exposed to threats from external influences. In order to protect against these threats, it is known to equip one or more containers with a protective equipment consisting of several protective plates to protect the container against especially ballistic threats. The protective plates are arranged on the outside of the container in front of the side walls and possibly also in the roof surface.

From the DE 198 35 955 A1 a protective equipment for a container is known which has a variety of protective plates and in the past for container protection has indeed proven, due to the arrangement of the protective plates in the side walls, however, some disadvantages Use of heavy-duty, even against large-caliber projectiles sufficiently protective protective plates has.

For in this known protective equipment small-area protective plates are first placed on the roof of the container and attached in the region of the side walls protective plates then attached to the roof-side protection plates. This results in particular for heavy-weight protection plates, the problem that the statics and in particular the roof construction of the container is not designed for such a high load. When using such a protective equipment, it is therefore necessary to use special containers whose roof surface withstands a large static load by the weight of the protective plates.

From the DE 100 28 753 A1 a container is known in which a large area protection plates on the mounting corners in front of the actual side wall of the container can be fixed. However, the attachment of the heavy protective plates is quite complex, since it is necessary to keep the protective plates in the appropriate position and to connect with the respective mounting corners. Another disadvantage of this container is the fact that in the case of several containerized together to form a container in the area between the mounting corners of adjacent containers ballistic vulnerabilities arise because the protective plates do not extend into this area.

Furthermore, from the WO 2010 022 044 A2 a protective equipment for the protection of containers with protective plates known, which are fixed via a connected to the Montageekken longitudinal beams in front of the side walls of the container. Also, this protective equipment has regard to their installation as consuming and in terms of their protective effect, especially in the area of two adjacent containers of a composite proved insufficient.

Object of the present invention is to provide a protective equipment, which allows for heavy-weight protection plates easy installation with improved protection simultaneously.

To solve this problem is proposed in a protective equipment of the type mentioned that this mounting plates, which provide a ballistic protection and can be fixed to an upper mounting corner and a lower mounting corner, over which the protective plates can be fixed to the mounting corners.

Such mounting plates allow on the one hand a few handles requiring installation of the heavy-weight protection plates, on the other these extend between the upper and lower mounting corner of the container, which is why they contribute effectively to the protection of the container.

In this context, it is further proposed that the mounting plates on two upper mounting corners and two lower mounting corners of two adjacent containers are fastened such that the mounting plate covers an existing between the containers gap, which also results in a reliable ballistic protective effect for the area between the containers ,

An advantage for a simple installation is an embodiment, according to which the mounting plates are fixable on manually operable quick connector on the mounting corners. The manually operable quick connectors may be pre-assembled to the mounting plates. By means of the quick connectors, the mounting plates can be quickly fixed by hand to the container or container assembly to be protected. It is not necessary to use separate tool for fixing the mounting plates.

In a further embodiment, it is proposed that the mounting plates are provided with receiving elements for receiving the protective plates. Advantageously, the recordings are recordings for the detachable attachment of the protective plates, so that they can be easily replaced, for example, in the event of damage.

In this context, it is further proposed in a structurally advantageous embodiment, that the receiving elements are designed in the manner of bolts whose arrangement and geometry corresponds with provided on the protective plates recesses. The bolts can engage in the correspondingly shaped recesses, so that the protective plate is held in a positionally secure position on the mounting plates.

In this context, it is advantageous if the bolt has at its free end a head which is widened with respect to the rest of the bolt, thereby preventing the protective plate from slipping off the bolt.

For a simple placement of the protective plate, it is advantageous if the recesses are of keyhole-like geometry. The round area of the keyhole geometry is used for passing the bolt or the extended head through the protective plate, after which then the narrower bolt shank can slide in the parallel part of the keyhole geometry. In this way, a positive attachment of the protective plates results by hanging on the receiving elements.

Furthermore, it is proposed that the protective plates can be suspended on the receiving elements. By hanging a large number of protective plates can be quickly attached to a container composite.

For ballistic protection of the container is further proposed that protective plates can be arranged on the roof of the container, which are supported on the mounting corners and / or provided in the roof area of the container support points. Depending on the weight of the protective plates arranged on the roof, the support points can be reinforced by supports provided inside the containers.

Alternatively, it is proposed that for ballistic protection of the container protective elements on the roof of the container can be arranged, which are supported on support elements on the mounting corners. Such support elements may extend across the container or a container composite and rest in the region of the mounting corners. In such an embodiment, it is not always necessary, in addition to the already existing mounting corners provide further support points and possibly inner support structures.

In this context, it is further proposed that the support element is designed as a double-T-carrier, form the upper flange and the lower flange support surfaces for two mutually spaced layers of protective plates. In this way, results in the area of the roof protection a two-ply arrangement of protective plates. However, when using a double-T beam, it is not absolutely necessary to use both the upper and the lower belt as a support surface for the protective elements. For example, if the ballistic threat permits, it is also possible to cover only the lower flange or its supporting surfaces with protective plates. The upper flange of the double-T-beams can then be provided with a layer that offers little ballistic protection, for example a roof layer providing a rain-proof seal of the containers.

In addition, it is proposed to solve the problem both in a container and a container composite of the type mentioned that they have a protective equipment according to one of claims 1 to 10.

In Fig. 1 The container composite 1 consists in the embodiment of two rows of thirteen 20 'containers 3 and intervening a central aisle of 10' standard containers 2. The shorter container 2 are used essentially as a central aisle, the longer containers 3 being pre-equipped for a variety of purposes, for example as office, storage, living, sleeping, workshop, toilet or sanitary containers, etc. The interior of the container composite 1 can be accessed via an entrance 20. It can be seen that the containers 3 on the front side openings 14, 15, 16, which can serve as a window opening, as an opening for connecting a fresh air blower, an air conditioner, sanitary pipes, etc., for example.

Such a container composite 1 can be constructed customizable from various standard containers 2,3 a wide variety according to the required space and is often used in situations in which the appropriate premises are needed only for a limited period and must be provided in a quick and cost-effective manner , Often such container composites 1 are also used in crisis areas in which the container composite 1 threats exposed to external influences, such as ballistic threats.

In such operations, it is necessary for the protection of the persons located within the container assembly 1 to provide them with a protective equipment that provides adequate protection according to the expected threat.

Details of such a protective equipment that can be used modular for a variety of container composites 1, are initially below with the aid of Fig. 2 to 8 for the protection of the containers 2, 3 in the area of their side walls discussed.

Like the illustration in Fig. 2 shows, the container 3 in their corner mounting corners 4. About an upper mounting corner 4.1 and a lower mounting corner 4.2 two adjacent containers 2, 3 are interconnected. The mounting corners 4 are of cubic shape and have recesses 30 for producing the corresponding connection via corresponding connecting elements, cf. also the representation in Fig. 5 , Since in the merger of a plurality of standard containers 2, 3 the openings 30 of the mounting corners 4 lying in the lateral outer surface of the container composite 1 remain unused, the mounting corner 4 is used according to the invention as a connection point for the protective walls 5, 6 protecting the side walls of the containers 2, 3.

Essential elements of the protective equipment form large-scale, heavy-weight protection plates 5, 6, for example, ballistically effective armored steel. The determination of the protective plates 5, 6 takes place from the outside of the container 2, 3 forth parallel to the side walls. Details of the determination of the protective plates 5, 6 to the containers 2, 3 and the container composite 1 are below initially with the aid of Fig. 2 explained.

Die Montageplatten 8, 8.1 erstrecken sich von den oberen Montageecken 4.1 der Container 2, 3 bis hin zu deren unteren Montageecken 4.2.As Fig. 2 shows the determination of the protective plates 5 in the region of the end faces of the container 3 indirectly with the help also for ballistic protection contributing mounting plates 8, 8.1. The mounting plates 8, 8.1 are initially on quick connector 9 at the mounting corners 4 of the container 2, 3 fixed. The mounting plates 8, 8.1 extend from the upper mounting corners 4.1 of the container 2, 3 up to the lower mounting corners 4.2.

In the area of two adjacent containers 3 adjacent the mounting plate 8 is fixed to two upper 4.1 as well as two lower mounting corners 4.2 and forms in this way a cover for the gap between the two adjacent containers 3. This results in a ballistic protective effect for the gap area , In outer corner regions of the container composite 1 narrower mounting elements are used 8.1, see. the representation on the right in Fig. 2 , These mounting elements 8.1 are each connected only to an upper mounting corner 4.1 and a lower mounting corner 4.2.

Fig. 3 lässt davon abweichend eine Alternative erkennen. Fig. 3 lets deviate an alternative. In the middle container 3 narrower mounting plates 8.1 are also provided. This arrangement has the advantage that the left and right provided on the central container 3 mounting elements 8.1 can be removed together with the protective plate 5, which then if necessary, the entire end face of the container 3 is released to replace this, for example, against another container 3 to be able to without having to solve the protective elements of adjacent container 3.

The mounting plates 8 have distributed over their height a plurality of receiving elements 10, via which the recording of the protective plates 5 takes place.

Like the illustration in Fig. 3 shows, in which already two protective plates 5 are suspended from the mounting elements 8, the receiving elements 10 are designed in the manner of bolts, the free ends of a head-like extension have, cf. also Fig. 4b) , The protective plates 5 have to the receiving elements 10 correspondingly arranged and shaped recesses 11 of a total of keyhole-shaped geometry, via which they can be suspended from the receiving elements 10.

Like the illustration in Fig. 3 can be seen, the provided on the containers 3 openings 14, 15, 16, if necessary, with functional elements 17, 18, 19 are provided or closed with ballistically effective cover plates 21. At the in Fig. 3 middle container 3, all openings 14, 15, 16 are closed with cover plates 21. At the in Fig. 3 right container 3 is the opening 14 with a ballistically protected fresh air supply 17, the opening 15 with a bulletproof window 18 and the opening 16 with a ballistically protected connection panel 19, for example, for connecting waste and / or fresh water lines provided.

Fig. 3.Further details of the mounting elements 8 are in Fig. 4 shown. As this shows, the mounting elements 8 are of overall plate-shaped geometry and have as a preassembled unit hand-operated quick connector 9, which allow rapid fixing of the mounting plates 8 to the container assembly 1 with little effort without additional tools. Like the back side in Fig. 4 a) can recognize, have the quick connector 9 on the side facing away from the handwheel 40 of the mounting element 8 form-fitting plates 41 which engage positively in the openings 30 of the mounting corners 4 and allow in this way a centering of the supporting mounting elements 8, see. also the representations in the FIGS. 5 and 6 , According to the front of the mounting elements 8 illustrative Fig. 4b) are the receiving elements 10 of a total mushroom-shaped with a bolt-shaped shaft 10.1 and an enlarged head representing thickening 10.2 at the free end of the shaft 10.1. It can also be seen a connection eye 31, via which the mounting plate 8 can be raised if necessary via a hoist. Such connection eyes 31 are also provided on the protective plates 5, 6, cf. Fig. 3 ,

Details of the locking of the quick connector 9 for producing the locking of the mounting plates 8 to the mounting corners 4 are below with the aid of the illustrations in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 explained.

The quick connector 9 consists of a handwheel 40, which sits on one end of a locking bolt 42. The locking bolt 42 is guided through a guide bushing 43, which is welded to the back of the mounting plate 8, for example, with this, within the form-fitting sheet 41, the back of the mounting plate. In addition, a dowel pin 44 and a cooperating with the dowel pin 44 stop 45 are provided. It can also be seen a serving as Ausdrehsicherung dowel pin 46 and provided on the circumference of the locking bolt 42 trapezoidal thread 47th

To lock the mounting member 8 to the mounting corners 4, the mounting member 8 is first brought into a position in front of the mounting corner 4, in which the form-fitting sheet 41 is aligned with the corresponding opening 30 of the mounting corner 4. The mounting member 8 is mounted with the form-fitting sheet 41 in the opening 30 of the mounting corner 4, wherein a provided at the free end of the locking bolt 42, radial extension penetrates into the mounting corner 4. Subsequently, the handwheel 40 of the quick connector 9 is rotated in the clockwise direction. This movement follows the locking bolt 42 initially freely rotating until the radial extension at the free end of the locking bolt 42 is rotated by about 90 ° and the opening 30 of the mounting corner 4 engages behind from the inside. In this position, the mounting plate 8 can not be removed from the mounting corner 4. In this position lies the provided on the locking pin 42 dowel pin 44 on the stopper 45 and blocked further rotational movements of the locking bolt 42. If the handwheel 40 further rotated, the secured against further rotation locking bolt 42 moves due to the trapezoidal thread 47 like a screw through a nut and pulls the mounting member 8 against the mounting corner 4 fixed.

To release the connection, the handwheel 40 is rotated counterclockwise until the lock loosens again and the dowel pin 44 has arrived on the other side of the stopper 45. In this position, the radial extension of the locking bolt 42 is in alignment with the elongated geometry of the opening 30, so that the mounting member 8 can be removed from the mounting corner 4.

The clamping pin 46 is provided as Ausdrehsicherung and prevents the handwheel 40 is completely rotated by the locking pin 42 down. The guide bush 43 guides the axial movement of the locking bolt 42. Furthermore, a cover 48 is provided which limits the axial movement of the locking bolt 44 in the direction of the handwheel 40.

By means of the mechanism described above, the assembly element 8 can be securely and in a defined manner mounted to the container assembly 1 by actuation of the quick connector 9 in a few simple steps. The corresponding protective plates 5 then need only be hooked into the receptacles 10 of the mounting member 8, whereby in the area of the receptacles 10 by the local overlap a two-layer protection is created.

In an analogous manner, the determination of the protective plates 6 in the region of the long sides of the container 3. In the area of the long sides of the container. 3 However, it can, as in Fig. 8 is shown to be advantageous to provide two protective plates 6 in order to handle the considerable weight of the protective plates 6, including the protective plates 6 as well as the protective plates 5 are provided in the embodiment with eyelets 31 for connecting a corresponding hoist, such as a crane ,

Fig. 9 zeigt den Eingangsbereich 20 des Containerverbunds 1. Fig. 9 shows the entrance area 20 of the container composite 1. Also, the entrance area 20 is ballistically protected by corresponding elements of the protective equipment. For this purpose, the in Fig. 9 illustrated embodiment, a ballistically protected container 2 positioned in the area in front of the actual entrance door 22 in the manner of an antechamber. The container 3 is provided in the manner described above all around with protective plates 5 and 6 respectively. In addition, the container 3 has a door 23, via which the container 3 is accessible. Behind the door is an angled protective element 24, which protects the region of the door 22 of the container composite 1 in the manner of a labyrinth protection against external threats. Once a person is in the area of the front door 22, this is in the protected area of the container group. This arrangement of an additional container 2 for forming a labyrinth protection in the region of the entrance 20 has the advantage that the pivotally hinged entrance door 22 does not have to be ballistically protected, since opening or closing of such a protected door due to the associated considerable weight with a enormous effort would be required.

The following are based on the representations in the 10 to 16 the elements of the protective equipment for ballistic protection of the roof of the container composite 1 explained.

The 10 and 11 show a simple execution of the ballistic roof protection. Here, protective plates 7 are stored from above on the roof of the container 2, 3. For weight reasons, the protective plates 7 are dimensioned shorter than the length of the container 3, so that it is necessary to arrange a plurality of protective plates 7 to protect a container roof side by side. The front and the rear protective plate 7 are supported from above on the one hand on the frontally provided mounting corners 4, towards the center of the container, however, it is necessary to provide additional support points 12, which form a support for the opposite end of the protective plate 7. In the Fig. 11 illustrated, middle protection plate 7 is both front and rear side on the support points 12. The support points 12 are statically reinforced within the inner container structure of the container 3 in order to carry the sometimes considerable weight of the protective plates 11 can.

Fig. 13. The Fig. 12 to 16 show an embodiment of the invention, in which the roof of the container composite is additionally provided with support members 13 which form the support surfaces for the protective elements 7. In the execution according to Fig. 12 it is support elements 13, which are designed in the manner of double-T-beams. Viewed across the width of the container composite 1, three juxtaposed support elements 13 are used, which, cf. Fig. 14 , via a tab-like connecting element 25 and in openings of the connecting element 25 engaging bolts 26 are interconnected. In the area of the mounting corners 4, the support elements 13 are also provided with quick connectors 9 for fastening the support elements 13 to the supporting structure of the container, cf. Fig. 13 , The tripartite division of the support element 13 into three individual elements has the advantage that the individual elements are shorter than the length of a container 3 and can therefore be transported in the containers 3.

As the Fig. 13 The lower flange 13.2 forms a supporting surface for the protective plates 7 arranged on the roof. The protective plates 7 engage, for the purpose of positional centering, with an opening 27 in bolts 28 provided on the lower flange 13.2, which on the insertion side have a chamfer serving as an insertion aid. Also, the upper flange 13.1 of the support member 13 can be used to carry other elements 29, as shown in Fig. 15 or Fig. 16 is shown. These additional elements 29 may, for example, likewise be ballistic protective elements, for example in the case of anticipated larger ballistic threats, or, for example, elements of a roof structure, solar elements for power supply or the like.

When running in Fig. 16 the upper flange 13.1 of the support elements 13 is angled relative to the lower flange 13.2. This results in a gable roof-like geometry, which supports the drainage of, for example, rainwater.

With the protective equipment described above can be modular according to the expected threat designed container composites in the manner of a modular system in a simple way provided with an effective protection. It is not necessary to use special containers. Rather, can be provided on the mounting corners and a standard standard container with a ballistic protection. All elements of the protective equipment are advantageously dimensioned such that they can be transported in the containers of the container composite.
