Definitions
- the invention relates to a conical pole made of metal with a closable door opening.
- Conical masts made of metal, especially steel, are used as lighting masts. Antenna masts or poles used. To produce conical masts, conically rounded blanks are produced, the longitudinal seam of which is closed by welding.
- Conical masts that are placed on the roadside must meet certain crash safety requirements. It has been found by crash tests that thin-walled masts provide increased passive safety for vehicle occupants as they "roll up" in a collision with a motor vehicle, thereby keeping the acceleration values applied to the vehicle occupants below an allowable limit. On the other hand, conical masts must also meet the static requirements, so that a certain minimum wall thickness must not be fallen below.
- Conical masts have at the bottom of a longitudinal opening which is closed with a lid or a door. This opening allows access to the interior of the conical mast in order to connect mast lighting to an electrical network after erection of the conical mast.
- electrical or electronic components may be mounted inside the mast, such as a fuse.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a conical mast, which has a favorable crash behavior in collisions with motor vehicles and is stable at the same time.
- a conical mast of the type mentioned that it has an outside or inside reinforcement in the region of the opening.
- the reinforcement provided according to the invention naturally leads to an increased wall thickness in this area, whereby a better protection against vandalism and damage is achieved.
- the mast section above the reinforcement to the desired reduced wall thickness, whereby a favorable crash behavior is achieved.
- the reduced wall thickness leads to a lower material consumption and correspondingly lower production costs.
- the material used can be better utilized.
- the reinforcement is sleeve-shaped and pressed into or onto the conical mast.
- an integral component is created, which has an increased wall thickness in the area of the reinforcement.
- the prefabricated conical mast section and adapted to this conical reinforcement can simply be inserted into one another under the action of force, alternatively, the two components can also be connected to one another by friction welding.
- the conical mast or the mast section may be made of galvanized steel, resulting in good protection against corrosion.
- the reinforcement provided in the conical mast according to the invention may preferably be made of stainless steel, so that the lower part of the conical mast is protected against corrosion.
- a variant of the conical mast according to the invention provides that the upper edge of the reinforcement is inclined relative to a plane perpendicular to the mast longitudinal axis.
- the plane spanned by the reinforcement plane is inclined after the erection of the mast, whereby the Drainage of rainwater is facilitated. Therefore, the unwanted ingress of rainwater into the gap between the conical mast section and the reinforcement is prevented.
- the conical mast according to the invention it can be provided that in the inside reinforcement opposing edges of the reinforcement are each bent to a C-profile.
- the C-profiles can serve as a carrier for electrical or electronic installations, which are accessible through the closable opening.
- the reinforcement of the conical mast according to the invention has an opening which is wider than the opening in the mast. In this way, a stable support for the lid or the door, with which the opening is closed.
- the outside reinforcement is designed as a concrete pipe.
- the preferably made of steel conical mast section is inserted into the concrete pipe, which is anchored with its other end in the ground.
- This variant is also particularly well protected against corrosion, especially when the transition between the steel mast and the concrete pipe is sealed with a filling or sealing compound.
- the in Fig. 1 shown conical mast 1 consists of a conical mast section 2 and an outside reinforcement 3, which is pressed onto the mast section 2.
- the mast section 2 and the outside reinforcement 3 have a round cross section, the mast section 2 is made of galvanized steel, the outside reinforcement 3 is made of stainless steel (stainless steel).
- the outside reinforcement 3 is attached in a sleeve-like manner to the mast section 2 in a force-fitting manner. In other embodiments, the mast section 2 and the outside reinforcement 3 can also be firmly connected to one another by friction welding.
- the wall thickness in the lower part of the mast 1 is substantially increased, so that the risk of damage by vandalism is considerably reduced.
- the upper part of the mast 1, which consists of the mast section 2, is thinner than conventional masts formed, the wall thickness is typically 2 mm or 1.5 mm.
- the upper end 4 of the outside reinforcement 3 is inclined to the horizontal, so that rainwater runs automatically.
- the transition between the outside reinforcement 3 and the mast section 2 is sealed with a sealing compound.
- the outside reinforcement 3 has a longitudinally extending opening 5
- the mast section 2 has a likewise in the longitudinal direction extending opening 6, which is narrower than the opening 5. This results in the left and the right side of the opening 5 bearing areas 7, on which a lid or a door is supported. This linear bearing of the lid or the door reduces the risk of damage by vandalism.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Masts mit einer außenseitigen Verstärkung;
- Fig. 2
- ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Masts mit einer innenseitigen Verstärkung;

Fig. 2 im Bereich der Öffnung; - Fig. 4
- eine vergrößerte Darstellung des in
Fig. 3 gezeigten Masts im Bereich des Stoßes; - Fig. 5
- eine vergrößerte Darstellung des in
