Abstract

The present invention relates to a floor cleaning device (10), particularly a household vacuum cleaner, having at least one air outlet opening (21) at the device housing (20) for the air flow (L) created by a ventilation unit (11), wherein a first cover (30) having air guiding elements (31) is disposed behind the air outlet opening (21) with regard to the direction of the air flow (L) for calculating the air flow (L). In order to improve the blow-out characteristics, at least one additional cover (40) having air guiding elements (41) is connected downstream of the first cover (30), said air guiding elements being configured differently from the first air guide elements (31) with regard to the arrangement, type, and/or geometry thereof. Air guiding elements (31, 41) having unique geometries (50, 51) may be advantageously configured by the at least two-piece cover (30, 40) of the air outlet opening (21), which generate significantly improved diffusing air flows, as cannot be realized using one-part covers, or other solutions known according to prior art.

Description

The present invention relates to a floor care device, in particular a household vacuum cleaner, with at least one air outlet opening on the device housing for the air flow L generated by a blower unit, wherein with respect to the direction of the air flow L after the air outlet opening a cover with air guide elements for refraction of the air flow L is arranged.

In general, the exhaust air of a floor care device such as a vacuum cleaner for the user is distracting and unpleasant, especially if it touches the bare upper leg or even the face. To avoid this problem is already known to divide the air flow by mechanical means, in particular by means of specially arranged filter or a louver or deflect, so as to obtain a weaker or at least diffuse air flow. However, the flow velocity of the blow-out air must not be slowed down in such a way that there is a backflow of heat, which possibly affects the blower.

From the DE 199 25 227 C2 Exhaust filters are known, which are used in frame boxes. The exhaust air filters are connected upstream of the discharge opening into the ambient air with respect to the flow direction of the exhaust air. The exhaust filters consist of at least two before the exhaust opening in a receiving shaft to each other obliquely arranged sections. The at least two sections of the exhaust filter are arranged obliquely inclined outwards. By the mutually inclined sections of the self-supporting exhaust filter, the exhaust air stream is split and directed according to the inclination of the filter sections in different directions. By this arrangement, a split air flow is generated, which is perceived by the user as less disturbing.

From the DE 103 20 079 A1 For example, a filter device for releasable insertion into a vacuum cleaner is known, which has a holding frame, which carries a filter material between an upstream opening and an exhaust opening, and which has an air guiding device for deflecting the air flowing out of the exhaust opening. To one To be able to achieve turbulence of the air emerging from the filter, without having to rely on the exhaust grille arranged on the vacuum cleaner housing, the known filter device has means which deflect the air emerging from the filter material in the direction of the center axis of the exhaust opening.

From the EP 1 785 080 A2 For example, there is known a silencer apparatus for a vacuum cleaner which is disposed above a motor and is in the form of a rectangular plate having a plurality of elongate tubes on one side of the plate. Above the plate is provided an air outlet in the form of an array of many small holes in the vacuum cleaner housing, the holes being offset from the elongate tubes.

From the JP 11-146846 A a vacuum cleaner is known which has a flap with ventilation grooves, which is fastened below an air outlet region via a hinge to the vacuum cleaner.

From the US 4,280,245 A For example, there is known a vacuum cleaner having a sound absorbing dome which is disposed above a main outlet formed in the vacuum cleaner housing for the air conveyed through the vacuum cleaner.

From the US 2003/145419 A1 For example, an air outlet structure for a vacuum cleaner with a frame, a filter and a filter cover is known. In this case, the filter cover on a grill section and is releasably attached to the frame.

A disadvantage of the previous solutions, however, is that nevertheless areas remain in which the user of a floor care device can feel unpleasant air currents, even at intervals of 1 m and more distance from the air outlet opening.

Proceeding from this, the object of the present invention is to provide an improved floor care appliance, in particular a household vacuum cleaner, which minimizes the disadvantages known in the prior art by means of an improved discharge characteristic.

This object is achieved by a floor care device, esp. Household vacuum cleaner, with the features of independent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and developments, which can be used individually or in combination with each other, are the subject of the dependent claims.

The floor care appliance according to the invention, esp. Household vacuum cleaner, builds on generic devices in that the first cover at least one further cover with air guide elements is arranged downstream, which are designed differently in their arrangement, type and / or geometry of the first air guide elements. Due to the at least two-part cover of the air outlet opening advantageous air guide elements can be formed with unique geometries which produce such significantly improved diffused air streams, as they are not feasible with one-piece covers or other known from the prior art solutions.

Erfindungsgemäß bevorzugt lenken die in der ersten und zweiten Abdeckung ausgebildeten Luftführungselemente den Luftstrom (L) wenigstens zweimal in seiner Richtung um.According to the invention, the air guide elements formed in the first and second cover preferably deflect the air flow (L) at least twice in its direction.

In this case, the air guide elements may be the same or different in their nature or offset or arranged at different angles to each other.

In particular, the air guide elements can be arranged at an angle between 30 ° to 150 ° to each other.

Appropriately, the air guide elements may be the same or different in their nature and / or geometry, in particular as a baffle, flow channel, sash profile, or the like.

Alternatively or cumulatively thereto, the covers may also have regular and / or cyclic alternately formed air guide elements in their nature and / or geometry.

Zur Erzeugung diffuser Luftströme hat sich auch bewährt, die zweiten Luftführungselemente zueinander größer beanstandet anzuordnen als die ersten LuftführungselementeTo generate diffuse air flows has also proven to be the second air guide elements to each other more objectionable to arrange than the first air guide elements

Particularly good diffuse air streams have been set in air guide elements according to the invention, which are at least half, but preferably in the form of an S-shape, so that the air guide elements of the first and second cover total at least one, preferably a double-S-form , which is preferably formed in opposite directions to each other.

In order to achieve a crossing of air streams adjacent to the air outlet opening, it has proven useful to arrange the air guiding elements of the first and second cover in groups in opposite directions about a, preferably cross-shaped, center element.

To reduce the air flow rate, the second cover may have a larger air outlet area than the first cover.

Preferably, the first cover is an integral part of a vacuum cleaner housing part, in particular a side part, lid, cap, separate fan cover element or other component of the vacuum cleaner.

According to the invention, however, at least the second cover is preferably designed as an attachment and can be connected to the first cover, for example, by being attached, glued, welded, gated, screwed or the like.

With the present invention, it is possible for the first time to produce diffuse air streams, which for the user of a floor care appliance with powerful blowers greater than 1400 watts already at intervals of about 25 to 65 cm, in particular from about 35 to 55 cm, preferably at distances between 40 and 45 cm to the air outlet or power less fans less than 1600 watts at intervals of 10 to 45 cm, especially from 20 to 35 cm, preferably at distances between 25 and 30 cm to the air outlet are hardly noticeable.

Additional details and further advantages of the invention will be described hereinafter by way of example with reference to a household vacuum cleaner, to which the present invention is not limited, and in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

In the following description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, like reference characters designate like or similar components.

As in the Fig. 1 and 2 the cover 22 of a vacuum cleaner 10 according to the invention consists at least in sections of two cup-shaped covers 30 and 40, which are arranged one above the other in the region of one or more air outlet openings 21, also referred to as blow-out slots. The basic cover 23 is in Area of the dust chamber 24 is formed closed, so that no vacuum loss.

The second cover 40 is, for example, from above the first cover 30, which may be part of the base cover 23, plugged and e.g. via mutually correspondingly formed by dipping ribs 31, 42 possibly caulked by means of ultrasound and / or by gluing and / or otherwise positively and / or non-positively connected to each other, so that a release is no longer possible.

According to the invention, air guide elements 41 are arranged in the second cover 40, which in their arrangement, type and / or geometry of air guide elements 31 of the first cover 30 are at least segmentally deviating and vice versa. In particular, rib-shaped air guiding elements 31 of the first cover 30 in the outlet region 21 can be set at an angle such that they initially slow down the air flow L. Formed in the second cover 40 rib-shaped air guide elements 41 then give the blow-out air L the desired direction.

As in Fig. 3 can be seen, first and second air guide elements 31 and 41 are preferably formed in opposite directions S-shaped. The accompanying in the assembled state of the first 30 and second 40 cover double-S-shape 51 causes excellent braking and direction of the air flow L described above, without braking the air flow L such that a possibly the fan 11 damaging and so far undesirable heat backpressure arises. He L thus maintains a "healthy" ground speed.

As Fig. 3 Furthermore, it can be clarified that the double-S-shaped guide elements 51 arising from the rib-shaped air guiding elements 31 and 41 can in particular be grouped in opposite directions around a, preferably cross-shaped, center element 50 of, for example, five double-S-shaped guide elements 51, so that the left L1 and the right L2 to the center element 50 flowing air L crosses over the device 10, depending on the blower 11 and filter (not shown) preferably at a distance of 10 to 65 cm, with more powerful blowers 11 in particular at about 40 cm or 45 cm, in less powerful blowers 11 in particular at 25 or 30 cm distance from / the air outlet opening / s 21. In other words, cause the inventive Air guide elements 31, 41, 51, that the outflowing air L, L1, L2, ... not nearly as long as purposefully remains in the room, as is the case in the known from the prior art ground care equipment case.

Fig. 4 Finally, the air guide elements 31 and 41 formed in the first 30 and second 40 cover after Fig. 3 in a perspective exploded view, which 30, 31, 40, 41 preferably in the so-called. On-to-technology without separate cross slide can be made. In particular, it can be seen how the closest first cover 30 of the air flow L to be discharged deflects in a first direction which deviates from the perpendicular to the cover 30 and how the further second cover 40 directs the air flow L in an opposite direction to the first deflection.

With the present invention, it is possible for the first time to generate diffuse air flows L, L1, L2,..., Which are hardly noticeable to the user of a floor care appliance 10 at intervals of 30 to 50 cm from the air outlet opening 21.

In addition, the lid 22 formed from two cup-shaped covers 30 and 40 allows jamming of other components such as viewing windows 60 for the power display, without the need for additional tool-consuming locking.

Overall, however, the advantage of the present invention is that the exhaust air L is first braked and then deflected, so that an air flow L is formed, which is no longer perceptible in 1 meter and more distance to the exhaust port 21.

In other words: by the at least two-part cover 30, 40 of the air outlet opening 21 can advantageously air guide elements with unique geometries 50, 51 formed which, which produce such significantly improved diffused air streams L, L1, L2 ..., as with one-piece covers or Other solutions known from the prior art are not feasible.
