Definitions
- a packaging bag having the features described above, which in addition to an outer layer of paper has an inner layer of a sealable plastic film, wherein the plastic film is provided with a plurality of vents.
- the air displaced in the lower region through the air passage openings of the inner layer and formed between the inner layer and the outer layer areas the bag at the head-side filling opening leave. Due to the perforation of the inner layer and the formation of the outer layer of paper, a comparatively high gas exchange is possible even after the bag has been closed.
- the invention has for its object to provide a packaging bag for powdery product, which allows an overall improved shelf life of the contents.
- the packaging bag should be used as a building material packaging bag for cementitious construction chemical products.
- the object is achieved in that the outer layer is formed of a plastic film and that on the outer layer for permanent venting of the packaging bag after its closure a secondary vent is provided, which allows a slow gas outlet.
- the outer layer of a plastic film provides improved protection against moisture and in particular also represents a diffusion barrier. Therefore, during storage only a controlled gas exchange via the secondary vent, so that the entry of atmospheric oxygen into the bag can be greatly reduced.
- the invention is based on the finding that the tightness of the formed as a plastic film outer layer is much higher compared to an outer layer of paper, wherein the secondary vent can be made just so that just a sufficient ventilation of the packaging bag is guaranteed.
- the resistance of Chromatreduzierem that are added to the cementitious building chemical product to avoid skin diseases during use can be significantly increased.
- the maximum storage time can be significantly increased in the use of the packaging bag according to the invention and at the same addition amount of chromate reducers. So can be achieved with a correspondingly dense configuration of the packaging bag, that the legally prescribed limit value of water-soluble chromate of currently 2 ppm is exceeded at the earliest after 12 months, preferably after at least 18 months.
- the perforation of the inner layer formed from a plastic film can be produced for example by a needling, wherein the puncture direction is taken into account.
- the inner layer can be arranged such that the elevations are arranged in the direction of the outer layers or in the direction of the bag interior.
- the elevations serve as spacers, so that in the areas in which the inner layer and the outer layer are not connected to each other, a distance from the outer layer is generated, which promotes a particularly rapid primary ventilation.
- the protrusions are arranged in the direction of the bag interior, this leads to an increase in the roughness.
- the inner layer of plastic
- the friction between the inside facing the bag interior and the inflowing filling material is increased, so that a kind of rolling motion or turbulence arises at the boundary layer .
- the formation of a needling can be advantageous.
- the inner layer of plastic Be formed polymers which favor a relatively large friction by itself.
- the inner layer may also be laminated or coextruded in a multilayered manner.
- the plastic film for the outer layer for example, an inner layer of polyolefin, preferably polyethylene, and an outer layer of polyester, preferably polyethylene terephthalate, wherein on the outer layer of polyester prior to lamination with the inner layer of polyolefin inside a print can be applied.
- Polyethylene terephthalate is characterized by a high strength, a smooth high-quality surface and a good barrier effect. Due to the different sealing properties of PET as outer layer and PE as inner layer, the laminated film described can also be very easily heat-sealed.
- the formation of a floor which allows a standing storage and use, advantageous.
- ventilation channels for secondary ventilation can be arranged according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in the region of the side edges.
- the vent channel is limited by the fold edge and a longitudinal sealing seam which separates the vent channel of the bag interior, wherein an interruption of the longitudinal sealing seam in the bag interior forms opening inlet opening and wherein an outside outlet opening of the venting channel is arranged offset.
- the venting channel can be formed between the associated folding edge and a longitudinal sealing seam slightly offset inwardly from the folding edge, which has an approximately constant thickness above and below the interruption in the longitudinal sealing seam, whereby a ventilation channel is formed which extends over the entire length the longitudinal edge extends.
- a plurality of interruptions are provided as inlet openings and / or a plurality of outlet openings.
- the at least one ventilation channel extends over part of the length of the associated longitudinal sealing seam, wherein preferably the portion of the longitudinal sealing seam laterally delimiting the ventilation channel has a small thickness, as a section adjoining the outlet opening of the ventilation channel.
- the venting channel is also limited to the bag interior of the packaging bag by a narrow web of the longitudinal sealing seam.
- the at least one venting channel can be optimally integrated into the associated longitudinal edge. In particular, the stability of the longitudinal edge and the visual appearance are virtually unaffected.
- the vent channel integrated in a section of the longitudinal edge is additionally protected in a particularly advantageous manner against kinking or damage.
- a plurality of longitudinally spaced and mutually independent ventilation channels can be formed at the longitudinal edges of the packaging bag formed as folded edges.
- the outer layer of the packaging bag is formed from a plastic film, there is also an improved strength, so that when handling the building material packaging bag, for example when throwing or dropping, the risk of bursting is reduced. Due to the tightness of the packaging bag according to the invention can also be prevented that this heavily contaminated on its outer side, which is particularly suitable for products that are intended for retail in the With regard to product presentation and removal by the consumer. Due to the increased strength of the packaging bag and the risk of unintentional opening is significantly reduced.
- a handle can also be provided in the packaging bag according to the invention to facilitate transport. The handle can be formed without restriction from the material of the inner and the outer layer, for example by a punched-out, or by a separately attached grip band.
- tear-open in the form of lines of weakness can be provided.
- a reclosure for example a zipper or slider closure, so that after removal of a subset of the contents, the portion remaining in the packaging bag remains storable for a long period of time.
- the ingress of moisture and ambient air can be prevented to a certain extent even after initial opening, so that on the one hand clumping and, on the other hand, rapid decomposition of additives, for example chromate reduction, can be avoided.
- the invention also relates to the use of the above-described packaging bag for cementitious construction chemical products containing water-soluble chromium (VI) compounds and a chromate reducer, which is preferably provided as chromate reducer for cost reasons iron (II) sulfate.
- a chromate reducer which is preferably provided as chromate reducer for cost reasons iron (II) sulfate.
- chromate reducers in a 7- to 10-fold excess in relation to the complete conversion of the water-soluble chromium (VI) compounds may be disadvantageous in view of the properties of the cementitious construction chemical product, since the addition of the chromate reducer is changed on sulfate carriers.
- the added amount of chromate reducer to a maximum of 5-fold excess, preferably to a maximum of 3-fold excess, then due to the inventive design of the building material packaging bag a storage period is achieved, at least the otherwise usual storage period corresponds.
- Fig. 1 a shows a building material packaging bag according to the invention during filling with a pulverulent cement-containing construction chemical product which contains water soluble chromium (VI) compounds and, in order to comply with legal requirements, an admixture of a chromate reducer, preferably iron (II) sulfate.

Since the head-side filling opening 7 is largely filled for fast filling of a hopper 8 a bottling plant, the air contained in the building material packaging bag during the filling process can not easily escape.
- the inner layer 2 is formed as a perforated polyethylene film, wherein the perforation air passage openings 9 forms, through which the displaced before the poured filling air can reach into a region between the inner layer 2 and the outer layer 1 and there leave the bag through the head-side filler opening 7.
- the inner layer 2 and the outer layer 1 are connected to each other only in the region of the longitudinal edges 5, 5 'by adhesive 10, wherein the air passage openings 9 are preferably provided only in the non-interconnected areas.
- the described lamination with adhesive (10) can also be provided to connect the inner layer 2 and the outer layer 1 by heat sealing.
- the inner layer 2 and the outer layer 1 can be superimposed only immediately upon formation of the bag and then joined by the longitudinal and transverse sealing seams provided for the formation of the bag, thereby eliminating the need for prior lamination or prior heat sealing.
- the air passage openings 9 can be generated for example by a needling.
- an additional fixing point 11 between the outer layer 1 and the inner layer 2 is provided at the top of the building material packaging bag, for example can be produced by heat sealing or adhesive.
- the air passage openings 9 of the inner layer 2 are produced by the needling in such a way that elevations 12 formed on the air passage openings 9 are arranged in the direction of the bag interior and lead to an increase in the surface roughness. This is advantageous in order to achieve a uniform inflow and a uniform distribution during the filling of the powdery filling material.
- the inner layer 2 is formed as a two-layer film, wherein the arranged on the inside of the building material packaging bag film layer to further increase the friction contains chalk as a filler.

Without limitation, it can be, for example, vegetable and animal flours, pigments and filler such as chalk.
The filling of the packaging bag described is generally carried out by machine, wherein the on one side, usually the top, not yet closed packaging bag is fed to a filling device, which usually has a hopper. Since the supply of the powdery filling material to the filling device and the supply and removal of the packaging bag before or after filling readily with a high speed are possible, the processing frequency to be achieved and thus the efficiency of the filling is determined by the filling itself established. In this case, there is the problem that the supplied packaging bag must be stopped for filling the powdery filling material and then air pockets can arise within the bag with a quick filling. By such air pockets, the effective filling volume is significantly reduced, so that either the filling speed to avoid air bubbles significantly reduced, reduces the amount of filling or overflowing the bag must be taken into account.
In addition, there is the problem that cement as a component of cementitious construction chemical products usually has a not insignificant proportion of water-soluble chromium (VI) compounds, these chromates in contact with the skin, for example in the handling of ready-to-use with water added construction products , can cause strong contact dermatitis, which are also referred to as bricklaying. In order to avoid such skin diseases or at least to reduce the frequency significantly, a cement or a cementitious preparation based on the mass of dry cement may not exceed 0.0002% (corresponds to 2 ppm) of water-soluble chromate. If skin contact can not be excluded during processing, the products may not be placed on the market and used if the limit value is exceeded. In order to achieve these specifications, chromate reducers, for example iron (II) sulfate, tin sulfate and various sulfonates, are added to cement-containing construction chemicals which are intended to convert the water-soluble chromates into harmless products, in particular chromium (III). The disadvantage is that the chromate reducers, in particular the commonly used iron (II) sulfate preparations, are easily passivated by air oxidation and are then no longer available for the conversion of the chromates. Although the chromate reducers are usually added in a 7 to 10-fold excess with respect to complete conversion of the water-soluble chromates, the shelf life is severely limited on exposure to atmospheric oxygen, so that after only a few, typically four months, the limit of 2 ppm water-soluble Chromat is exceeded in the cement-containing construction chemical products. While in the known packaging bags by a dry storage clogging can be avoided, the degradation of the chromate reducer can not be prevented. Special disadvantages arise in particular with regard to high-quality specialty cement-containing products and products intended for DIY enthusiasts, since a long storability is advantageous due to the respective distribution structures. Furthermore, there is the problem that high-quality special products and products in the DIY sector are often not completely used up immediately after the purchase by the end customer and should be stored either in the initially sealed original packaging bag or after taking a partial quantity for a long time.
Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a packaging bag for powdery product, which allows an overall improved shelf life of the contents. In particular, the packaging bag should be used as a building material packaging bag for cementitious construction chemical products.
Starting from a packaging bag with the features described above, the object is achieved in that the outer layer is formed of a plastic film and that on the outer layer for permanent venting of the packaging bag after its closure a secondary vent is provided, which allows a slow gas outlet.
The outer layer of a plastic film provides improved protection against moisture and in particular also represents a diffusion barrier. Therefore, during storage only a controlled gas exchange via the secondary vent, so that the entry of atmospheric oxygen into the bag can be greatly reduced. The invention is based on the finding that the tightness of the formed as a plastic film outer layer is much higher compared to an outer layer of paper, wherein the secondary vent can be made just so that just a sufficient ventilation of the packaging bag is guaranteed.
The formation of the outer layer of a plastic film also causes various other advantages of the invention. Thus, the risk of ingress of moisture and steam is greatly reduced, so that even with a long storage, the risk of clogging of the contents can be practically excluded. In addition, a transport or storage of the packaging bag in a humid environment, which is to avoid a packaging bag with an outer layer of paper necessarily, do not lead to an impairment of the contents. The effort required for storage can thus be significantly reduced. In particular, the packaging bags according to the invention can be stored, for example, on a construction site, at a building materials dealer or in the hardware store outdoors. It is particularly advantageous that when used as a building material packaging bag for cementitious construction chemical products by the strong reduction in the supply of atmospheric oxygen from the environment, the resistance of Chromatreduzierem that are added to the cementitious building chemical product to avoid skin diseases during use, can be significantly increased. While in the storage of cement-containing building chemical products in building material bags with an outer layer of paper after a few months, typically after four months, the added in an excess chromate reducer are passivated to the specified limits of water-soluble chromates are exceeded and the cementitious building chemical products at a strict application of the statutory requirements are to be disposed of without use, the maximum storage time can be significantly increased in the use of the packaging bag according to the invention and at the same addition amount of chromate reducers. So can be achieved with a correspondingly dense configuration of the packaging bag, that the legally prescribed limit value of water-soluble chromate of currently 2 ppm is exceeded at the earliest after 12 months, preferably after at least 18 months.
With regard to the maximum storage life of the filling material, in particular of cement-containing building chemical products, the design of the secondary ventilation is of importance in the context of the invention. However, for example, a significant improvement in the storability can already be achieved by a perforation of the outer layer, in which small perforation holes are arranged at a comparatively large distance from one another in order to allow a slow gas outlet. In addition to a perforation, cuts, ventilation channels or other venting devices can also be provided. Among other things, the outer layer may be formed for example by a multi-layer laminated plastic film, wherein between the film layers sections channels are formed, which allow at least for a certain overpressure the slow gas leakage from the bag interior.
According to the present invention, it is particularly advantageous if the provided for the slow gas outlet secondary venting has a valve effect. The invention is based on the finding that by venting usually a high pressure in the bag and inflation should be avoided, but on the one hand, as described above, excessive entry of ambient air, moisture or steam should be avoided and on the other hand, a smaller Overpressure, which does not lead to excessive inflation of the bag, can be tolerated. Thus, for example, separate valve elements can be provided for the secondary ventilation, which are placed on the outer layer. A certain valve effect is also observed when venting ducts are offset for secondary venting on the outer layer or on overlapping areas of the outer layer Inlet and outlet openings are formed. In such an embodiment, a labyrinth ventilation is achieved.
Usually, it is also advantageous if only incisions or recesses are produced to provide the secondary vent in the outer layer and not, as is the case, for example, when punching out material of the outer layer.
The inner layer is formed according to the present invention from plastic and is usually made of a plastic film. The formation of the inner layer of a nonwoven material having uneven air passage openings or a plastic composite, but should not be excluded within the scope of the invention. The air passage openings of the inner layer, which is preferably designed as a perforated film, are expediently designed such that a passage of large quantities of filling material during the filling of the packaging bag is avoided. In the case of a pulverulent filling material, for example a cementitious construction chemical product, however, it can not readily be prevented during filling that small quantities of the filling material pass through the air outlet openings between the inner layer and the outer layer, which can usually be accepted. For the size and arrangement of the air outlet openings on the inner layer is rather crucial that even at very high filling speeds of the injection of air can be safely avoided, so that a fast process management is made possible without the risk of overflowing or other interference.
Particularly in the case of small bag sizes, for example in the case of packaging bags having a filling weight of 3 to 10 kg, the entire top-side opening area of the packaging bag is often filled with a filling funnel during filling in order to ensure fast processing guidance. so that just in this case a very fast and complete primary ventilation through the air outlet openings of the inner layer and the areas formed between the inner layer and the outer layer is required.
The perforation of the inner layer formed from a plastic film can be produced for example by a needling, wherein the puncture direction is taken into account. Thus, as seen in the puncture direction at the back of the film on which the needle tips emerge, warping formed. The inner layer can be arranged such that the elevations are arranged in the direction of the outer layers or in the direction of the bag interior. In the first case, the elevations serve as spacers, so that in the areas in which the inner layer and the outer layer are not connected to each other, a distance from the outer layer is generated, which promotes a particularly rapid primary ventilation. On the other hand, if the protrusions are arranged in the direction of the bag interior, this leads to an increase in the roughness. In the case of a mutual needling or sections of alternating needling, the two described effects can also be combined. In practice, it has been shown that in plastic packaging bags with an inner layer of plastic despite a sufficient primary vent uneven filling may occur. The problem arises in this case that when using an inner layer of plastic with a smooth bag inside surface, the introduced during the filling process product slidably slides along the inner layer along. With respect to a uniform distribution of the powdery filling material, on the other hand, it has turned out to be advantageous if, in the case of an inner layer made of plastic, the friction between the inside facing the bag interior and the inflowing filling material is increased, so that a kind of rolling motion or turbulence arises at the boundary layer , To increase the roughness, as described above, the formation of a needling can be advantageous. Furthermore, for the inner layer of plastic Be formed polymers which favor a relatively large friction by itself. In addition, it is also possible to provide friction-increasing organic or inorganic fillers, such as, for example, chalk as an admixture or an inner coating of the inner layer. In particular, when using a film, the inner layer may also be laminated or coextruded in a multilayered manner.
Within the scope of the invention, the plastic film provided for the outer layer can be embodied without restriction as a monofilm, coextruded film or multilayer laminated film. The term plastic film refers in the context of the present invention to a sheet, which contains as the main and structuring component of polymers. In addition, however, it should not be ruled out that the plastic film also has organic or inorganic fillers and additives as well as coatings or coatings. In particular, metallization is also possible to increase the barrier effect.
The plastic film for the outer layer, for example, an inner layer of polyolefin, preferably polyethylene, and an outer layer of polyester, preferably polyethylene terephthalate, wherein on the outer layer of polyester prior to lamination with the inner layer of polyolefin inside a print can be applied. Polyethylene terephthalate is characterized by a high strength, a smooth high-quality surface and a good barrier effect. Due to the different sealing properties of PET as outer layer and PE as inner layer, the laminated film described can also be very easily heat-sealed.
According to an alternative embodiment, it is provided that the plastic film of the outer layer is formed as a monofilm, coextrusion film or multilayer laminated film made entirely of polyethylene. In such a Embodiment there is the advantage that when stacking the packaging bag according to the invention, the friction between the then stacked layers of polyethylene compared to the friction between layers of polyethylene terephthalate is large and therefore the risk of slipping can be reduced from each other. Although the inner layer is formed in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the invention of polyethylene, the entire packaging bag after emptying is particularly easy to dispose of and recycle. In particular, when the plastic film of the outer layer is formed entirely of polyethylene, an imprint may be provided on the outside. This imprint can then be covered by a lacquer layer which serves to protect the imprint and / or increase the friction.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the plastic film, which forms the outer layer, an embossment. This embossing provided on the entire outer layer or only in sections may in particular be provided to keep the inner layer and the outer layer at least in certain regions at a certain distance, so that the primary ventilation is facilitated. Overall, the roughness of the outer layer can be increased by the embossing, which may be advantageous in terms of the connection of the outer layer with the inner layer and the stackability of the packaging bag.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the packaging bag has two oppositely disposed front walls, which are bounded by longitudinal edges. At the longitudinal edges, the front walls can be connected directly to each other. Preferably, however, it is provided to arrange side folds between the front walls, so that the packaging bag is designed as a side-fold bag, wherein the total four then longitudinal edges between one of the gussets on the one hand and one of the front walls are formed on the other hand. A side gusset bag thus formed is characterized by a very good stability and can also be stored and used standing in the formation of a stand. In particular, if, for example, in the home improvement sector not the entire contents are to be removed and also in the packaging bag remaining subsets to be stored over a period of time, the formation of a floor, which allows a standing storage and use, advantageous. In addition, results in a gusseted bag approximately a cuboid shape, so that a plurality of packaging bags can be stored easily and space-saving and also stacked.
If, as described above, the packaging bag has longitudinal edges limited front walls, ventilation channels for secondary ventilation can be arranged according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in the region of the side edges. Particularly advantageous is an embodiment, according to which in the region of one of the longitudinal edges, which is designed as a folded edge, the vent channel is limited by the fold edge and a longitudinal sealing seam which separates the vent channel of the bag interior, wherein an interruption of the longitudinal sealing seam in the bag interior forms opening inlet opening and wherein an outside outlet opening of the venting channel is arranged offset.
With regard to the specific embodiment of such a venting channel, various further design possibilities arise within the scope of the invention. Thus, the venting channel can be formed between the associated folding edge and a longitudinal sealing seam slightly offset inwardly from the folding edge, which has an approximately constant thickness above and below the interruption in the longitudinal sealing seam, whereby a ventilation channel is formed which extends over the entire length the longitudinal edge extends. Without limitation, it can also be provided that for the provision of a permanent ventilation at the longitudinal sealing seam a plurality of interruptions are provided as inlet openings and / or a plurality of outlet openings.
According to an alternative embodiment, it is provided that the at least one ventilation channel extends over part of the length of the associated longitudinal sealing seam, wherein preferably the portion of the longitudinal sealing seam laterally delimiting the ventilation channel has a small thickness, as a section adjoining the outlet opening of the ventilation channel. This results in the advantage that the corresponding longitudinal edge above and below the ventilation channel is completely sealed. In addition, the venting channel is also limited to the bag interior of the packaging bag by a narrow web of the longitudinal sealing seam. In the context of such an embodiment, the at least one venting channel can be optimally integrated into the associated longitudinal edge. In particular, the stability of the longitudinal edge and the visual appearance are virtually unaffected. The vent channel integrated in a section of the longitudinal edge is additionally protected in a particularly advantageous manner against kinking or damage. In the context of the described embodiment, a plurality of longitudinally spaced and mutually independent ventilation channels can be formed at the longitudinal edges of the packaging bag formed as folded edges.
Characterized in that according to the invention the outer layer of the packaging bag is formed from a plastic film, there is also an improved strength, so that when handling the building material packaging bag, for example when throwing or dropping, the risk of bursting is reduced. In addition, a handle can also be provided in the packaging bag according to the invention to facilitate transport. The handle can be formed without restriction from the material of the inner and the outer layer, for example by a punched-out, or by a separately attached grip band.
To allow easy opening of the packaging bag, tear-open in the form of lines of weakness can be provided. Finally, it is also possible to equip the packaging bag with a reclosure, for example a zipper or slider closure, so that after removal of a subset of the contents, the portion remaining in the packaging bag remains storable for a long period of time. In particular, the ingress of moisture and ambient air can be prevented to a certain extent even after initial opening, so that on the one hand clumping and, on the other hand, rapid decomposition of additives, for example chromate reduction, can be avoided.
The customary addition of chromate reducers in a 7- to 10-fold excess in relation to the complete conversion of the water-soluble chromium (VI) compounds may be disadvantageous in view of the properties of the cementitious construction chemical product, since the addition of the chromate reducer is changed on sulfate carriers. In the context of the present invention can therefore be provided to reduce the added amount of chromate reducer to a maximum of 5-fold excess, preferably to a maximum of 3-fold excess, then due to the inventive design of the building material packaging bag a storage period is achieved, at least the otherwise usual storage period corresponds.

The
