Abstract

In carton packaging having an outer folding carton and an inner folding carton which surrounds a film internal container, the inner folding carton is adhesively bonded by means of one of its carton body walls (14) to an adjacent carton body wall (6) of the outer folding carton. The outer folding carton and the inner folding carton surround the film internal container essentially completely. The film internal container consists of a flexible film internal bag provided with a withdrawal closure. The carton body walls (13, 14, 15, 16) of the inner folding carton are connected to one another in a foldable manner at the body edges (17, 18, 19, 20) via carton bridges, each bridging an edge slot. The lid flaps of the inner folding carton are angled in the finished carton packaging. The inner folding carton and the outer folding carton consist of a joint carton blank or each consist of a separate carton blank or each consist of a plurality of carton blanks.

Description

The invention relates to a cardboard packaging with an outer folding carton and an inner folding carton, which surrounds a film inner container. Such a cardboard packaging is out WO 02/083510 known.
Preferably, the outer and inner folding cartons surround the film inner container substantially completely. The film inner container usually consists of a flexible inner film bag provided with a removal closure.

Such liquid packaging used for storage, transport and removal of liquids are known in various embodiments. The flexible inner film bags accommodated in a folding carton have the advantage over rigid liquid packaging that the liquid taken in does not come into contact with the atmospheric oxygen due to the inner film bag collapsing upon removal and therefore remains longer lasting.

In DE 11 20 355 a folding box is described with a plastic bag arranged therein. In order to be able to define a removal closure at a predetermined position within the folding box, a holder is located inside the folding box, which has a plate arranged below the lid of the folding box with an opening for receiving the removal closure. The holder may be connected by means of fastening means with the carton to prevent slipping of the holder with the discharge closure fixed thereto. The arranged inside the carton holder increases the stability of the carton only insignificantly.

In DE 30 16 466 A1 a similar carton is described, which also arranged under the cover of the carton plate for Recording the removal closure has. However, this plate is arranged obliquely to avoid unwanted air pockets in the tube during the filling of the arranged in the carton tube through the removal closure unwanted air pockets. The removal closure is therefore fixed at the highest point of the slanted plate. The plate is supported on the bottom of the carton and secured laterally to a side wall of the carton. Again, the stability of the carton is improved only insignificantly by the arranged and supported inside plate.

The important in particular for the transport mechanical strength of the packaging is achieved in such cardboard packaging exclusively by the folding carton, which receives the film inner bag. The carton must in most cases be very stable in order to comply with the requirements of the dangerous goods regulations both during use and during transport.
The requirements of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance for the absorption and transport of hazardous liquids can in many cases only be met by the fact that an additional outer folding carton is used in addition to the inner inner carton containing the film inner bag.

From practice, the carton packs mentioned above are known with an outer folding carton and an inner folding carton containing the flexible inner foil bag. However, such cardboard packaging for liquids of the "cardboard-in-carton" type are only cumbersome to process in production. In particular, they can not be processed on a fully automatic machine. Even if the inner folding carton accommodating the inner film bag can be prepared and erected on a fully automatic machine, it nevertheless has to be inserted by hand into the outer folding carton.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a cardboard packaging of the type mentioned, which is easy to process and filling and can also be filled on a fully automatic machine. At the same time, the dangerous goods conditions specified for chemicals should be met. The packaging should meet high safety requirements during transport and use.

This object is achieved by the cardboard packaging of claim 1.

Due to the stable connection of the inner folding carton with the outer folding carton a substantial increased overall strength of the cardboard packaging is achieved. The handling of the cardboard packaging is greatly facilitated because the inner folding carton is securely and accurately connected to the outer folding carton through the bond. In particular, the position of the inner folding carton in the outer folding carton is set so that externally applied shocks or similar stresses are optimally kept away from the inner folding carton and in particular from the inner foil bag.

Preferably, the outer and inner folding cartons are made of corrugated cardboard. However, it is also conceivable and advantageous for some applications when the outer and / or the inner folding carton partially or completely made of a plastic material or of a composite material.

Also, the filling process is simplified and facilitated because the film inner container receiving carton can be handled because of the adhesive bond between the inner carton and the outer folding carton as a single folding carton. This also makes the processing on a fully automatic machine when erecting, filling and closing the liquid packaging allows and facilitates. The film inner container is preferably a flexible film inner bag with a removal closure. However, it is also conceivable that the film inner container is formed by a substantially dimensionally stable film bubble or by a film coating of the inner folding carton.

Erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltungen der Kartonverpackung sind Gegenstand von Unteransprüchen.Inventive embodiments of the cardboard packaging are the subject of dependent claims.

The invention also relates to a prefabricated cardboard unit for producing a previously described cardboard packaging and to a method for producing such a cardboard packaging.

  • Fig. 1 in räumlicher Darstellungsweise eine Kartonverpackung,

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the embodiment described below and shown in the drawing. It shows:
  • Fig. 1 in a spatial representation, a cardboard packaging,
  • Fig. 2 a section along the line II-II in Fig. 1 .
  • Fig. 3 - 6 each with a view from the top of the cardboard packaging successive steps in closing the packaging, wherein in the Fig. 4-6 a film inner container is not shown,

The in the Fig. 1 - 6 shown cardboard packaging has an outer folding carton 1 and an inner folding carton 2, which contains a provided with a removal closure 3, flexible film inner bag 4, which is intended to receive the liquid to be packaged.

Luftblasen gelangen nicht in den Folieninnenbeutel 4.The extraction closure 3, not shown here, may be a faucet. If the cardboard packaging is used to hold, for example, titration liquid, the tap integrated in the extraction closure can be easily connected to a titrator via an adapter (not shown). Since the film inner bag 4 collapses upon removal of the liquid, there is no danger that the liquid will be contaminated. Air bubbles do not enter the film inner bag 4.

The outer folding carton 1 has four Kartonzargenwände 5, 6, 7 and 8, which are connected to Zargenkanten 9, 10, 11 and 12 foldable together to form a cardboard frame.

22 aufweist (Fig. 2).The outer folding carton 1 and the inner folding carton 2 are each formed from a carton folding sleeve, which in each case in a cardboard frame wall 8 or 16 has an adhesive bond 21 or 22 ( Fig. 2 ).

The outer folding carton 1 has in each case at the upper edges 23, 24, 25 and 26 of its cardboard frame walls 5, 6, 7 and 8 hingedly hinged lid flaps 27, 28, 29, and 30.

In a corresponding manner, the inner folding box 2 at the upper edges 31, 32, 33 and 34 of the cardboard frame walls 13, 14, 15 and 16 cover flaps 35, 36, 37, 38 hinged foldable.

5, 6, 7, 8 faltbar angelenkte Bodenklappen 41 bzw. 42 auf.The inner folding carton 1 and the outer folding carton 2 each have at the lower edges 39 and 40 of its cardboard frame walls 13, 14, 15, 16 and 5, 6, 7, 8 hinged bottom flaps 41 and 42, respectively.

The inner folding carton 2 is adhesively bonded with its one carton frame wall 14 to the adjacent carton frame wall 6 of the outer folding carton 1 by means of a strip-shaped adhesive 43. In addition, (not shown here) an adhesive bond can also be provided between the respectively adjacent cardboard frame walls 5 and 13 or 7 and 15.

The cover flap 28, which is hinged foldably on the cardboard folding wall 6 of the outer folding carton 1 glued to the inner folding carton 2, has a separable access opening 44. A corresponding separable access opening 45 is also provided in the lid flap 36 of the inner folding carton 2 arranged underneath. After the separation of the access openings 44 and 45, access to the removal closure 3 of the inner film bag 4 arranged underneath is released.

As from the representation of the blank in Fig. 7 can be seen, the Kartonzargenwände 13, 14, 15 and 16 of the inner folding carton 2 at the Zargenkanten 17, 18, 19 and 20 via cardboard bridges 46 are connected to each other foldable, each bridging an edge slot 47. As a result, a particularly flexible design of the inner folding carton 2 is achieved that he is not only in the erected state ( Fig. 1 - 6 ), but also in the flat folded state ( Fig. 9 ) adapts well to the outer folding carton 1.

The upper edges 31 and 33 of the two opposite, each provided with a foldable hinged lid flap 35, 37 provided Kartonzargenwände 13 and 15 of the inner folding carton 2 are lower than the upper edges 23, 24, 25 and 26 of the cardboard frame walls 5, 6, 7 in the finished state and 8 of the outer folding carton 1. This ensures that the cover flaps 35 and 37 put roof-shaped on the filled film inner container 4.

The oblique course of the cover flaps 35 and 37 increases the stability of the finished cardboard packaging noticeably. In addition, the sloping top flaps 35 and 37 form a funnel-shaped end, which leads the liquid in the direction of the removal closure. In addition, 35 and 37 rectangular corners of the cardboard packaging are avoided by the oblique course of the lid flaps.

In Fig. 10 is a sectional view of the in Fig. 1 shown carton packaging along the plane XX. In upper regions 50, perforated gripping holes can be provided in the outer folding carton 1. A handling of the cardboard packaging is then substantially facilitated, since in the interior of the handle holes neither an inner folding carton 2 nor a film inner bag 4 are arranged tight-fitting and there is sufficient space for engagement.

In the illustrated embodiment, the outer folding carton 1 and the inner folding carton 2 each consist of a separate carton blank, which in the Fig. 8 or 7 are shown. Instead, it can also be provided that the outer folding carton 1 and the inner folding carton 2 consist of a common carton blank. It is also conceivable that the outer folding carton 1 and / or the inner folding carton 2 consist of two or more carton blanks.

Fig. 9 shows in a front view of a prefabricated carton unit, as provided for the production of a carton liquid packaging of the type described and delivered to the user. A flat folded inner cardboard folding sleeve 48, which later forms the inner folding carton 2, is arranged in a flat folded outer carton folding sleeve 49, which later forms the outer folding carton 1. The one cardboard frame wall 14 of the inner cardboard folding sleeve 48 is adhesively bonded to the adjacent cardboard frame wall 6 of the outer cardboard folding sleeve 49.

From the in Fig. 9 schematically shown, lying flat folded state, the prefabricated carton unit can be erected in a simple manner. After insertion and filling of the film inner bag 4, the liquid packaging is closed in the manner as in the Fig. 3 - 6 is shown. First, the two cover flaps 35 and 37 are folded obliquely on the film inner bag 4 ( Fig. 3 ). Then, the two other lid flaps 36 and 38 of the inner folding carton 2 are folded inward ( Fig. 4 ). Above the cover flaps 27 and 29 of the outer folding carton 1 are laid ( Fig. 5 ). Finally, the liquid packaging is closed by means of the cover flaps 28 and 30.

  1. a) Ausschneiden eines inneren Kartonzuschnitts (Fig. 7) für den inneren Faltkarton 2;
  2. b) Ausschneiden eines äußeren Kartonzuschnitts (Fig. 8) für den äußeren Faltkarton 1;
  3. c) Verkleben einer Kartonzargenwand 14 des inneren Kartonzuschnitts mit einer Kartonzargenwand 6 des äußeren Kartonzuschnitts;
  4. d) Zusammenfalten und Verkleben des inneren Kartonzuschnitts zu einer flachliegenden inneren Kartonfalthülse 48;
  5. e) Zusammenfalten und Verkleben des inneren Kartonzuschnitts zu einer die innere Kartonfalthülse 48 umfassenden äußeren Kartonfalthülse 49;
  6. f) Aufrichten und bodenseitiges Verschließen der miteinander verklebten Kartonfalthülsen 48, 49;
  7. g) gegebenenfalls Einbringen des flexiblen Folieninnenbeutels 4 in den inneren Faltkarton 2;
The method for producing a cardboard packaging of the type described is preferably characterized by the following method steps:
  1. a) Cutting an inner carton blank ( Fig. 7 ) for the inner folding carton 2;
  2. b) Cutting an outer carton blank ( Fig. 8 ) for the outer folding carton 1;
  3. c) bonding a cardboard frame wall 14 of the inner carton blank with a carton frame wall 6 of the outer carton blank;
  4. d) folding and gluing the inner carton blank to a flat lying inner carton fold sleeve 48;
  5. e) folding and gluing the inner carton blank to an outer carton folding sleeve 49 comprising the inner carton folding sleeve 48;
  6. f) raising and bottom-side closing of the glued carton collars 48, 49;
  7. g) optionally introducing the flexible film inner bag 4 into the inner folding carton 2;
  8. h) lid-side closing of the inner folding carton 2 and the outer folding carton. 1

Instead of a liquid, any other free-flowing or viscous material in the film inner container, or the inner film bag 4 can be filled, transported and stored and removed again. The film inner container can then be designed as a coating of the inner folding carton 2 depending on the material to be absorbed.

The inner folding carton 2 and the outer folding carton 1 are preferably made of corrugated cardboard. However, it is also conceivable that the inner and / or the outer folding carton 2, 1 are made of plastic or of a suitable composite material. Depending on the material used for the inner and outer folding carton 2, 1 can these are fastened together by means of suitable fastening means or fastening methods, so that an adhesive does not necessarily have to be used.

In most embodiments described above can be prepared by a suitable design of the dimensioning in conjunction with the materials used a cardboard packaging that meet the usual safety requirements for the transport and storage of dangerous goods and yet are machine accessible, so can be used on an automatic bottling plant ,
