In this position, the feed plate 11 is set beyond the height of the cutting edge 13, so that the cutting edge 13 is hidden behind the feed plate 11. This avoids injury to a user by accidentally touching the cutting edge 13. Dabei kann der Benutzer dadurch die in der Schneidgutkammer 21 den aktuellen Füllstand des Schneidguthalters 20 verfolgen, dass dessen Außenwandung aus transparentem Kunststoff gefertigt ist. Ferner weist der Schneidguthalter 20 eine Aufwölbung 22 im Bereich seiner unteren Kante auf, welche zur Aufnahme von länglichen Schneidgütern vorgesehen ist. Auf diese Weise können auch Schneidgüter, welche nicht in der Schneidgutkammer aufgenommen werden können, mit der Vorrichtung geschnitten werden. Der Deckel 28 kann mit einem Verschluss 29 gesichert werden, so dass auch hier eine abgeschlossene Schneidgutkammer 21 gebildet ist. Claims (17)

  1. Kitchen slicer with a slicer frame (10), which has a feed plate (11), a drain plate (12) and a cutting edge (13), preferably in V-shape, wherein the cutting edge (13) is arranged between feed plate (11) and drain plate (12) and fixed to the drain plate (12), the front edge, which faces the cutting edge (13), of the feed plate (11) is recessed relative to the cutting edge (13) by a selectable cut width, and wherein the cut width is steplessly selectable in that the feed plate (11) is mounted to be displaceable at least substantially planoparallelly to the drain plate (12) and has for that purpose height guide levers (16), which are guided in height guides (16) of the slicer frame (10) and allow planoparallel displacement of the feed plate (11), characterised in that the feed plate (11) comprises a plurality of sloping slide runners (18) which are slidingly mounted on correspondingly sloping slide surfaces (18a) of a setting slide (14), wherein the setting slide (14) comprises lateral guide levers (17a) by means of which it is mounted in lateral guides (17) to be slidable with respect to the slicer frame (10) transversely to the direction of displacement of the feed plate (11).
  2. Kitchen slider according to claim 1, characterised in that the height guides (16) are bounded in displacement direction towards the cutting edge (13) and preferably open in the opposite direction.
  3. Kitchen slicer according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the slide surfaces (18) have bent-over edge portions which are received by the slide runners (18) in the form of a guide.
  4. Kitchen slicer according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the side guides (17) have an access guide (17b) for introduction of the lateral guide levers (17a) into the side guides (17).
  5. Kitchen slicer according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the setting slide (14) is fixable relative to the feed plate (11) by means of a lock by screwing or clamping the lock to a lock detent of the feed plate.
  6. Kitchen slicer according to any one of claims 1 to 4, with an eccentric setting wheel (15) which is so connected by way of an eccentric suspension (15a) with the feed plate (11) and the setting slide (14) that rotation of the eccentric setting wheel (15) causes a relative displacement between feed plate (11) and setting slide (14).
  7. Kitchen slicer according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the height or side guides (16, 17) are formed as grooves in the slicer frame (10).
  8. Kitchen slicer according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the feed plate (11) is raisable above the cutting edge (13) in order to cover the same.
  9. Kitchen slicer according to any one of the preceding claims, which comprises a cutting material holder (20) with a cutting material chamber (21) for reception of the cutting material during processing.
  10. Kitchen slicer according to claim 9, characterised in that the slicer frame (10) has a guide groove for the cutting material holder (20), the holder being insertable by a guide edge into this guide groove.
  11. Kitchen slicer according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the cutting material holder (20) has a removable cover (28).
  12. Kitchen slicer according to any one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that the cutting material holder comprises a holding plate (26) which is insertable form a top side into the cutting material chamber (21).
  13. Kitchen slicer according to claim 12, characterised in that the holding plate (26) presses by means of a compression spring (27) against the cutting material introduced into the cutting material chamber (21).
  14. Kitchen slicer according to claim 12 or 13, characterised in that the holding plate (26) has spike-shaped elevations for fixing the cutting material in the cutting material chamber (21).
  15. Kitchen slicer according to any one of claims 9 to 14, characterised in that the lower edge, which slides on the feed plate (11), of the cutting material chamber (21) has a concavity (22) running through the centre point of the cutting material chamber (21).
  16. Kitchen slicer according to any one of claims 9 to 15, characterised in that the cutting material holder (20) has grip surfaces (24) for improving contact between the hand of the user and the cutting material holder (20).
  17. Kitchen slicer according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one support shoulder (19) is associated, preferably detachably, with the slicer frame (10).
