Ein weiterer Vorteil besteht darin, dass das aus Kunststoff bestehende Abschlusselement an seinen Kanten deutlich weniger verletzungsgefährdend ist. Insgesamt lässt sich durch die Ausführung des Abschlusselementes als Kunststoffteil eine Ausprägung als integraler Bestandteil des Trägers erreichen und erlaubt somit eine wesentlich glattflächigere Ausbildung des gesamten Tragarmes, was der Anhaftung von losen Fasern entgegenwirkt. Durch die formschlüssige Verbindung wird die Stabilisierung des Oberwalzen-Trag- und Belastungsarmes erreicht, wobei eine fertigungstechnisch aufwändige Versteifung des Oberwalzen-Trag- und Belastungsarmes beziehungsweise eine unlösbare Verbindung mit dem Oberwalzen-Trag- und Belastungsarm vermieden werden kann. Zudem bedarf es im Gegensatz zum Stand der Technik keiner zusätzlichen Befestigungselemente, wie Niete oder dergleichen. Gegenüber den aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Befestigungstechniken des Klebens, Lötens oder Schweißens resultiert der Vorteil des zerstörungsfreien Lösens des Abschlusselementes vom Oberwalzen-Trag- und Belastungsarm. Zudem verschließt und versteift das Abschlusselement den Oberwalzen-Trag- und Belastungsarm im vorderen Bereich.In accordance with

Claims (12)
- U-shaped top roller carrying and weighting arm (2), which is open at the bottom, for a drafting arrangement of a spinning machine, which is mounted at one end by a support on a holding rod, and arranged on the end face thereof opposing the support, of the top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) is a closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"'), characterised in that the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1'") consisting of a plastics material is pushed onto the top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) and is releasably connected thereto by a form closure, in that the closing element closes and reinforces the open end face of the top roller carrying and weighting arm and in that the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1'") is configured to exchangeably receive additional devices (10) which can be used on the drafting arrangement.
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to claim 1, characterised in that the perpendicular flanks of the U-shaped top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) in each case have a projecting fastening portion (3), onto which the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1'") can be pushed.
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to claim 2, characterised in that the fastening portions (3) have a profiling extending transversely to the joint direction.
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to any one of claims 2 to 3, characterised in that a dimensional overlapping is provided between the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') and the fastening portions (3), so that a frictional engagement occurs between the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') and the fastening portions (3).
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to any one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') has a hook-shaped projection (8), which engages behind the U-shaped profile of the top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) in the position in which the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') is pushed onto the fastening portions (3).
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') has a U-shaped contour which is open at the top to receive an additional device (10).
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to claim 6, characterised in that at least one latching lug (11) is arranged in the upper edge region at least on one of the flanks of the U-shaped closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"').
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to either of claims 6 or 7, characterised in that the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') is configured as a hollow body, which can be placed on fastening portions (3) of the top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) adapted to the U-shaped contour of the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"').
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the closing element (1) has a substantially level closing face for the arrangement of an additional device (10).
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the closing element (1, 1', 1", 1"') is configured with at least one connection device for the arrangement with frictional engagement and/or a form closure of an additional device (10).
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to claim 10, characterised in that the connection device is configured as at least one threaded bushing (5) or threaded bore.
- Top roller carrying and weighting arm (2) according to claim 10, characterised in that the connection device is configured as at least one stop bolt.
