Die sich ausbildende, aus den Teilnebelwänden 20, 21 ergebende Gesamtnebelwand zeichnet sich zum einen durch eine sehr schnelle Entstehung zum anderen durch eine sehr hohe Nebeldichte aus. Zudem kann der betreffende Nebelwurfkörper mit sehr einfachen Mitteln hergestellt werden. Claims (9)

  1. Smoke-producing projectile (1) with a flammable smoke-producing substance (2), which is accommodated in a chamber (3) of the smoke-producing projectile (1),
    wherein multiple pyrotechnic bursting charges (5, 6) are provided separately from one another, having the effect of producing smoke and effectively distributing the smoke produced at different successive times,
    wherein at least one first chamber (3) and one second chamber (4) are provided, each chamber (3, 4) contains smoke-producing substance (2) and each chamber (3, 4) is assigned a pyrotechnic bursting charge (5, 6) of its own,
    wherein one (6) of the two bursting charges (5, 6) is provided with a means for time-delayed activation of the bursting charge (6), characterized in that a casing (7), which completely or partially surrounds the bursting charge (6), is provided as the means for time-delayed activation of the bursting charge (6).
  2. Smoke-producing projectile according to Claim 1,
    wherein the bursting charge (5) that brings about the first smoke formation is located on the side of the smoke-producing projectile (1) that is lying in the direction of flight.
  3. Smoke-producing projectile according to Claim 1 or 2,
    wherein the chambers (3, 4) and the bursting charges (5, 6) are located along the longitudinal axis of the smoke-producing projectile (1).
  4. Smoke-producing projectile according to Claim 3,
    wherein the respective bursting charge (5, 6) is accommodated in an associated longitudinal channel (11, 12) of the smoke-producing projectile (1), preferably located in the region of the longitudinal axis.
  5. Smoke-producing projectile according to one of the preceding claims,
    wherein a separating wall (13) is provided between the two chambers (3, 4).
  6. Smoke-producing projectile according to one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the bursting charges (5, 6) and the casing (7) burn substantially without any residue.
  7. Smoke-producing projectile according to Claim 6,
    wherein an organic substance is provided as the casing (7).
  8. Smoke-producing projectile according to one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the casing (7) has a plurality of chambers (8) .
  9. Smoke-producing projectile according to one of the preceding claims,
    wherein press-moulded and/or loosely filled pyrotechnic compositions are provided as a main constituent for the bursting charge (5, 6).
