    - transporting the full container (14) from the pick-up position (17) into the area of the discharger hopper (18),
    - emptying the container (14) into the discharger hopper (18),
    - transporting the emptied container (16) to a put-down position (19), and
    - removing the emptied container (16) on a removal device (12),
    characterized in that
    the container (14, 16) is held in a cassette (21) that can move up and down and be swivelled during the entire emptying process from the pick-up position (17) in the area of the discharger hopper (18) and back into the put-down position (19),
    that the cassette (21) is moved vertically upward by a lift device (23) from the pick-up position (17) into the area of a swivelling device (27) so that the container (14, 16) is first moved vertically upward out of the pick-up position (17),
    that the cassette (21) is swivelled overhead and back by means of the swivelling device (27) so that the container (14, 16) is also swivelled overhead and back above the discharger hopper (18), and
    that the cassette (21) is then moved vertically downward into the put-down position (19) with the lift device (23) so that the container (14, 16) is again moved vertically downward into the put-down position (19), and
    that the cassette (21) is connected to the lift device (23) for the vertical movements, whereas the cassette (21) is released from the lift device (23) and connected to the swivelling device (27) to swivel.
  9. Method according to claim 8, characterized in that a full container (14) is picked up from the feeding device (11) by a pickup element (22) and positioned in the cassette (21) while an emptied container (16) located in the cassette (21) is simultaneously pushed out of the cassette (21) by the pick-up element (22).
  10. Method according to any one of claims 8 to 9, characterized in that the emptied container (16) is transported by means of a lift device (31) from the put-down position (19) at the level of the feeding device (11) into the area of the removal device (12).
