- the melting tank (1) is surrounded by electrical resistances (not shown), in a peripheral chamber (4) filled with insulating material, and in the base said tank (1) comprises a series of outlets (5) of passage up to a chamber (6), which in turn communicates through a conduit (7) with the adhesive application head (2), electrical resistors (8) being incorporated in the spaces between the outlets (5) and around of the room (6).
- the adhesive for the application is introduced in the solid state into the tank (1), falling by gravity onto the bottom provided with the outlets (5), so that thanks to the heat provided by the resistors surrounding the reservoir (1) an initial melting of the glue is produced, which ends to melt in the outlets (5) of the base, thanks to the heat of the resistors (7) which are in the spaces between the outlets (5) mentioned, the molten glue flowing to the chamber (6) where the melting state is maintained, and from said chamber (6) the molten glue is impelled by the pump (3) to the application head (2) , passage in which electrical resistors (8) are also included to maintain the glue in the state of fluidity suitable for the application.
- the solid glue that is introduced into the reservoir (1) gradually melts in said reservoir (1), so that it reaches the lower outlets (5) in a semi-molten state, acquiring in said outlets ( 5) a fluidity that allows it to pass to the chamber (6), so that in this passage and in the chamber (6) the fusion is completed and maintained, the molten glue being driven directly from the melting zone up to the application head (2), so that there are no wide circulation passages in which the glue can cool and lose fluidity, the entire head therefore having a dimension allowing it to be used in small spaces.
