Abstract
Es werden ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung eines Zeichens (34b) in einer Werkstückoberfläche (34a) durch Prägen (Ritzmarkieren oder plastisches Druckumformen) beschrieben. Erfindungsgemäß wird die sich ergebende Prägetiefe (L3) dadurch gemessen und/oder konstant geregelt, dass ein an der Prägenadel (18) befestigter und zusammen mit dieser bewegbarer Abstandsensor (33) verwendet wird. Die Prägenadel (18) wird vor Beginn der Prägung auf die Werkstückoberfläche (34a) aufgesetzt, wodurch ein erster Abstand (L1) des Abstandsensors (33) von der Werkstückoberfläche (34a) erhalten wird. Während des nachfolgenden Prägevorgangs und bei in die Werkstückoberfläche (34a) eingedrückter Prägenadel (18) wird ein zweiter Abstand (L2) des Abstandsensors (33) von der Werkstückoberfläche (34a) erhalten. Die Prägetiefe (L3) ergibt sich dann aus der Differenz (L1 - L2) der beiden Abstände (Fig. 6). During the subsequent embossing process and with embossing needle (18) pressed into the workpiece surface (34a), a second distance (L2) of the distance sensor (33) from the workpiece surface (34a) is obtained. The embossing depth (L3) then results from the difference (L1-L2) of the two distances (FIG. 6).
