Claims (15)

  1. Service switching device (1) having a housing (8), comprising a front face (3), a mounting face and a narrow face (6) between them, and having a connecting terminal (10) which is held in a terminal accommodation area, which is located close to the narrow face (6), of the housing (8), comprising a terminal screw (24), which is accessible from the front face (3) and has an operating end (26) and a clamping end (30) opposite it, furthermore comprising a busbar (36) and a terminal body (12) having at least two terminal areas (20, 21), which are accessible via a first and a second housing opening (91, 92) from the wall of the narrow face (6) which is adjacent to the front face (3), are located one behind the other with respect to the front face (3) and are separated from one another by a busbar (36), for connection of a busbar and/or of a connecting conductor, in which case a first terminal area (20), which is located between the busbar and the front face, can be covered by a terminal cover part (60), which is coupled to the clamping end (30) of the terminal screw (24), can be driven thereby in the movement direction (50) of the terminal screw (24) and is of such a size that it covers the first terminal area (20) even when a terminal screw (24) is screwed onto the busbar (36), characterized in that the terminal cover part (60) is riveted to the terminal screw (24) such that it can rotate.
  2. Service switching device (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the terminal cover part (60) is L-shaped, with a first limb (62) being riveted to the clamping end of the terminal screw (24) such that it can rotate, and with a second limb (66), which points in the direction of the front face (3) from the first limb (62), covering at least the first terminal area (20) in a touch-proof manner, and in that the second limb (66) of the terminal cover part (60) is narrower than the housing opening associated with the terminal area which is covered by the terminal cover part, with that part of the housing opening which is left free of the terminal cover part being so small that it is not possible to touch live device parts through it.
  3. Service switching device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the terminal cover part is composed of plastic and is riveted to a metallic rivet plate on a rivet pin, which projects at the clamping end (30) of the terminal screw (24), such that it can rotate.
  4. Service switching device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the terminal cover part is composed of metal, with at least the second limb (66) being covered with an insulating material at least on the face which points outward and can be touched.
  5. Service switching device according to Claim 4, characterized in that a plastic part which sheaths the second limb (66) is plugged or clipped onto the second limb (66).
  6. Service switching device according to Claim 4, characterized in that an insulating shrink sleeve is shrunk onto the second limb (66).
  7. Service switching device according to Claim 4, characterized in that a plastic layer is sprayed onto the second limb (66), at least on the face which points outward and can be touched, or the second limb is insert-molded with plastic.
  8. Service switching device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal screw (24) is a threaded bolt without a head.
  9. Connecting terminal (10) for installation in the terminal accommodation area of a service switching device (1) having a housing (8), having a terminal screw (24) which has an operating end (26) and a clamping end (30) opposite it, having a busbar (36) and a terminal body (12) in which two terminal areas (20, 21), which are located one behind the other with respect to the movement direction (50) of the terminal screw (24) and are separated from one another by a busbar (36), are formed for connection of a busbar and/or of a connecting conductor, in which case a first terminal area (20), which is located between the busbar (36) and the clamping end (30) of the terminal screw (24), can be covered by a terminal cover part (60), which is coupled to the clamping end (30) of the terminal screw (24), can be driven thereby in the movement direction (50) of the terminal screw (24) and is of such a size that it covers the first terminal area (20) even while the terminal screw (24) is screwed onto the busbar (36), characterized in that the terminal cover part (60) is riveted to the terminal screw (24) such that it can rotate.
  10. Connecting terminal (10) according to Claim 9, characterized in that the terminal cover part (60) is L-shaped, with a first limb (62) being riveted to the clamping end of the terminal screw (24) such that it can rotate, and with a second limb (66), which, in the installed position, points in the direction of the device front face (3) from the first limb (62), covers at least the first terminal area (20) in a touch-proof manner, and with the second limb (66) of the terminal cover part (60) being narrower than the housing opening associated with the terminal area which is covered by the terminal cover part in the installed position, with that part of the housing opening which is left free of the terminal cover part being so small that it is not possible to touch live device parts through it.
  11. Connecting terminal (10) according to Claim 9, characterized in that the terminal cover part is composed of plastic and is riveted to a metallic rivet plate on a rivet pin, which projects at the clamping end (30) of the terminal screw (24), such that it can rotate.
  12. Connecting terminal (10) according to Claim 11, characterized in that the terminal cover part is composed of metal, with at least the second limb (66) being covered with an insulated material at least on the face (95) which points outward and can be touched in the installed position.
  13. Connecting terminal (10) according to Claim 12, characterized in that a plastic part which sheaths the second limb (66) is plugged or clipped onto the second limb (66).
  14. Connecting terminal (10) according to Claim 12, characterized in that an insulating shrink sleeve is shrunk onto the second limb (66).
  15. Connecting terminal (10) according to Claim 12, characterized in that a plastic layer is sprayed onto the second limb (66), at least on the face which points outward and can be touched, or the second limb is insert-molded with plastic.
