Abstract

The blister pack arrangement has a blister pack, which has a cavity (7) for receiving a medication dosage and a closure film. Each medication dosage is squeezed out through the closure film by pressing out the respective cavity for sampling. A conductive path carrier is aligned relative to the cavities of the blister pack such that a conductor (1) is disconnected within the surface by pressing out the medication dosage. The surface is defined by perpendicular projection of the cavity on the conductive path.

Description

The present invention relates to blister pack assemblies with a blister pack having cavities for receiving one drug dose each - such as in the form of a tablet, a pill or a dragee - and a closure foil, each dose of medicament being pushable out by depressing the associated cavity for removal through the closure foil, in particular blister pack arrangements which additionally have a conductor carrier which has a conductor track and is aligned relative to the cavities of the blister pack such that the conductor path can be pressed out by at least one surface defined by vertical projection of one of the cavities onto the conductor carrier, by which the medicament dose of this cavity can be pressed out for removal is, runs, so that the trace is interrupted by pushing out this drug dose through this area.

With the principle of interrupting a trace when pushing out a drug dose from a blister pack, it is possible to monitor electronically whether a patient is taking the drug at the prescribed times in the prescribed doses (Patient Compliance). For this purpose, the conductor must be connected to a suitable evaluation circuit. Usually, a plurality of interconnects are provided in order to be able to separately detect the removal of each individual dose contained in the blister pack. Basically, there are a large number of possible circuit variants. For example, a completely separate interconnect loop can be provided for each cavity; or via each surface defined by vertical projection of one of the cavities on the conductor carrier, a branch of a parallel connection opens in two connections, and the number of withdrawn drug cans can be determined from the total resistance of the parallel connection whose reciprocal equals the sum of the reciprocals of the individual resistances of all intact branches is.

Most of the printed conductors are printed on the conductor carrier, which consists of a flat material, such as a plastic film or a multilayer film composite. The conductor carrier can in turn be glued to the sealing film of the blister pack. For this purpose, a self-adhesive design of the conductor carrier is customary, which is presented on a sheet-like release material and then, usually mechanically, is applied to the sealing film of the blister pack.

A Blisterpackungsanordung of the type mentioned is from the German patent application DE 10 2004 060 213 A1 known. In this known Blisterpackungsanordung defined by vertical projection of one of the cavities on the conductor carrier surface is in each case surrounded annularly by punching lines. The punched lines are interrupted by two formed from the flat material of the conductor carrier narrow web portions over which the conductor tracks out become. When pushing out the drug dose from the associated cavity at least one of the web parts is severed, whereby the overlying conductor track is interrupted.

To remove a dose of medication so not only the sealing film of the blister pack by pushing out the drug dose to cut through but also at least one of the provided in the conductor carrier web portions over which the conductor runs. This complicates the withdrawal of medication and may even prevent it in old and weakened patients.

Against this background, it is an object of the present invention to provide a blister pack assembly of the type mentioned, which facilitates the withdrawal of medicaments compared to the prior art, i. reduced the effort required to remove a dose of medication. According to the invention, this object is achieved by avoiding the tearing of a web part on the circumference of the surface defined by vertical projection of one of the cavities onto the conductor carrier.

According to one aspect of the invention, the solution of the problem with a blister pack assembly according to claim 1 is implemented. The rupture of a web portion on the circumference of the area defined by vertical projection of one of the cavities on the conductor carrier surface is avoided here, that the web part to be cut is moved into the surface defined by vertical projection of the cavity on the conductor carrier. Compared to the conventional design of a web portion at the edge of the plane defined by vertical projection of the cavity on the conductor carrier surface results in more favorable force introduction conditions, which can tear the web part easier.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention may be configured according to one of claims 2-7. Punching lines can basically be provided both in the form of simple punched lines, as well as in the form of gap-like recesses.

In principle, any variant of the invention described or indicated in the context of the present application may be particularly advantageous, depending on the economic and technical conditions in the individual case. Unless otherwise stated, or as far as technically feasible, individual features of the described embodiments are interchangeable or can be combined with one another and also with measures known per se from the prior art.

Hereinafter, examples of preferred embodiments of the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The drawings are purely schematic and, for reasons of clarity, not to scale representations. In particular, ratios of dimensions to each other may differ from actual embodiments.

In Fig. 1 the conductor carrier of a blister pack assembly according to the invention is shown in plan view. There are ten different embodiments of the stamping image of the Medication removal facilitating punching lines 3 summarized in a representation. Instead of simple punched lines 3, gap-like recesses can also be provided in partial areas. At the edge numbers are given from 1.1 to 1.10 for easier reference to the individual variants. In a commercial implementation, a common punching pattern will usually be selected for each drug dose to be withdrawn. However, a desired conductor track guidance can allow the person skilled in the art also to take individualized punched images, for example for cavities 7 arranged at the corners of the blister pack. By choosing a suitable punching pattern, in which punching lines 3 run in suitable curves and screws, such as in embodiment 10.1, the risk of further tearing the opening to the next blister cavity in the removal of a tablet can be avoided.

Indicated by oval lines are indicated by vertical projection of the (tablets, pills or dragees containing) cavities 7 defined on the conductor carrier surfaces. The conductor carrier is made of a flat material 4, which may be, for example, a plastic film (PET, PE, PP, PVC, PA ...), a film composite or paper. The conductor tracks 1 are printed on the flat material 4. Each cavity 7 is assigned its own conductor loop. Whether this is consistent, about the in Fig. 1 not detailed executed connections are queried at the edge of the conductor carrier shown below. For each cavity 7, a separate connection is provided so that it can be detected from which cavity 7 the drug dose contained therein was taken. In principle, the printed conductors 1 and their connections can be carried out essentially as known from the prior art.

Zusätzlich oder stattdessem kann das Stegteil 2 durch Anstanzungen weiter geschwächt seinIn all ten in Fig. 1 illustrated punching images, the conductor 1 is guided via a centrally arranged in the plane defined by vertical projection of the associated cavity 7 on the conductor carrier surface web portion 2. The web part 2 is formed from the flat material 4 and defined by punched lines 3. In principle, the narrow interruption of a punching line (as shown in FIG. 4, bottom row) is already to be understood as a web part 2; in the embodiments of Fig. 1 However, the web part 2 is extended in each case by Stanzlinienfortsätze, which makes the web part 2 easier to tear. In addition or instead of the web part 2 may be further weakened by punching

The branching of the punching lines 3 also facilitates the tearing open of the flat material 4 in the region of the associated cavity 7 when the tablet, pill or tablet arranged in the cavity 7 is pushed out of the cavity 7 by pressure on the cavity 7.

The introduction of force is particularly favored by the fact that the web part 2 interrupts a punching line 3 which divides the surface defined by vertical projection of the associated cavity 7 on the strip carrier approximately into two halves (upper and lower in the illustration).

In this case, the punched lines 3 can lie completely within the area defined by vertical projection of the associated cavity 7 on the strip conductor carrier (variants 1.1 to 1.9), and also extend beyond them (variant 1.10).

Fig. 2 zeigt zwei Ausführungsformen in einer Darstellung. Fig. 2 shows two embodiments in a representation. For the lower row of the drug cavities 7 in the illustration, in turn, the guidance of the conductor 1 via web portions 2 is provided. Unlike in Fig. 1 However, the web parts 2 are not extended by punching line extensions, which simplifies the stamping image. Particularly favorable for the introduction of force is the arrangement of the punching lines 3 such that they approximately halve the areas defined by vertical projection of the associated cavities 7 on the conductor carrier. For the top row of the drug cavities 7 in the illustration, no pier sections 3 interrupting the piercing line 3 are provided. Here, the conductor 1 crosses the punching line directly, which is no longer the subject of the invention.
