Abstract

The invention relates to a primary package unit for a plurality of separated film laminas as administration forms, having a bottom layer and a top layer sealed thereto, between which layers individual compartments, surrounded by sealed areas, are formed for the administration forms in the region of which the top and bottom layers are unsealed. The invention achieves the object of configuring such a primary package unit in such a manner that the same makes possible a more densely packed package for, in particular round, film laminas as administration forms. To this end, the primary package unit is provided with at least two rows (I, II) of compartments ( 4, 8 ), and said compartments ( 4, 8 ) and the administration forms ( 1 ) of neighboring rows (I, II) are offset from one another.

Description

The invention relates to a primary packaging unit for several separated film platelets as dosage forms, the in this in trained in several rows subjects are arranged, in particular for circular dosage forms.

Medicaments in solid form are usually singulated into dosage units (dosage forms) and packaged individually in primary packaging in a predetermined number and dispensed as a so-called card to the patient or consumer containing the dosage forms between at least two layers sealed together. In addition to the known solid dosage forms for drugs, such as tablets or dragees, there is also the dosage form of the "wafer". This is a film plate of, for example, a polymeric component and an active ingredient having a predetermined amount of active ingredient, which is tuned in its thickness and its dimensions to the amount of active ingredient to be dispensed. In DE 198 00 682 a primary packaging for such film platelets is described. This has an underlayer and a top layer, between which wafer-shaped film platelets are enclosed as dosage forms in compartments (compartments). Upper layer and lower layer are connected to each other by sealing seams or areas in which perforations are introduced as predetermined breaking lines in the areas between the compartments, which allow as required separation of the individual compartments of the primary packaging unit. To facilitate grasping and tearing, an unsealed edge may be disposed adjacent each compartment on at least one side outside the sealing area, or the top and bottom layers may be mutually offset and interconnected so that a protruding edge of one of the two layers is formed.
Furthermore, the post-published WO-A-01/62621 relates to a primary packaging unit with a lower layer and an upper layer. In this, the two layers are not connected to each other in predetermined areas and thereby form a tear-open.

Due to the two-dimensional extent of the drug form, the expansion of a free space around the dosage form and the width of the seal area reach primary packaging units according to DE 198 00 682 an extent that affects their handling. Thus, for example, a card (primary packaging unit) with five wafer-shaped administration forms, each with an area of 2 cm 2, has a total width of 11 cm and a width of 6 cm. This card can be badly accommodated, for example, in a wallet. A weekly package with at least seven dosage forms would therefore be even less favorable. The reason lies in the size of the wafer-shaped dosage forms, which have a diameter of 1, 5 cm, which is associated with a lower packing density in the primary packaging unit, especially since the dosage forms must be sealed in this. However, good handling, including problem-free accommodation when carrying along, is precisely a stated goal of this new dosage form, which is offered in particular round (wafer-shaped) and administered, in order to suggest a certain proximity to other forms of administration and to facilitate their establishment.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a primary packaging unit according to the preamble of claim 1 or 6 so too make this a denser pack for particular allows round dosage forms.

This task is performed on a packaging unit after The preamble of claim 1 or 6 by the characterizing Characteristics solved. Advantageous embodiments are each listed in the dependent claims.

The invention is that in a Primärverpakkungseinheit for several isolated dosage forms in Form of film platelets consisting of a lower layer and a formed with this sealed upper class, between those surrounded by seal areas individual subjects are designed for the dosage forms in their area the upper and lower layers are unsealed, at least two rows of subjects are formed, and the Subjects and dosage forms of the adjacent rows to each other staggered or, alternatively, that the compartments are arranged annularly. The multi-row Positioning with an offset of the compartments or even the annular positioning of the dosage forms leads to a denser packing per unit area and thus too smaller primary packaging units.

Bei den Darreichungsformen handelt es sich bevorzugt um kreisrunde Darreichungsformen mit einem Durchmesser zwischen 0,5 und 3 cm und mit einer Dicke zwischen 50 und 700 µm.Preferably, the primary packaging unit for round wafer-shaped Film plate provided as a dosage form, in which the compartments are arranged so that the offset of the in these enclosed dosage forms half Distance between the centers of two adjacent administration forms corresponds to one row, and that all neighboring ones Dosage forms have the same distance from each other. This means at a distance A between two adjacent Dosage forms of a series that a dosage form the adjacent row offset by 0, 5 A to these is. In addition, the connecting lines form the midpoints of the dosage forms isosceles triangles. ever however, according to an embodiment of the invention, the offset may be be chosen differently. In the preferred embodiment is the distance between the edges of two adjacent ones Dosage forms between 3 mm and 50 mm, preferably between 6 mm and 20 mm. When the dosage forms are it preferably with circular dosage forms with a diameter between 0.5 and 3 cm and with a thickness between 50 and 700 μm.

To improve handling, the primary packing points the subjects associated tear tabs formed thereby are that in their area the upper class not with the lower class is connected and the upper class in the the subjects facing away from the area with the lower layer sealed upper layer is separated. The tear tabs borders on predetermined tear lines, which are in the sealed Upper layer of the compartments surrounding areas arranged are. With the help of a pull tab, the upper class becomes along the a trainees surrounding tear line of the lower layer separated, and the respective compartment is opened. The dosage form is accessible. For racks arranged in rows, the pull tabs are Advantageously arranged so that they are in between the compartments protrude intermediate spaces given a neighboring row. In annularly arranged compartments, they are in trained in the area enclosed by the subjects and aligned to the center of the round primary packaging unit and can be easily grabbed there. The neighboring ones Trays remain unaffected when a tray is torn open and closed.

As materials for the two layers are particularly suitable Polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polypropylene (PP) and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), but also paper, aluminum or composites of these materials. Here, the upper layer and the lower layer of consist of different materials. It can be advantageous too, for one of the two layers or just for the Upper layer to use a transparent material.

The primary packaging unit is made by a Striped drug form withdrawn from a supply roll and one also pulled from such a train is supplied from the material of the underlayer and out the drug delivery forms, in particular circular dosage forms, according to the predetermined Arrangement in primary packing, punched out or be cut out and the residual material is separated, by passing the residual material web over a separating edge the dosage forms dissolved from the dressing remain on the web of the material of the lower layer and be advanced with this. Following the separation is positioned on the lower course and on this Dosage forms a web of the material of Upper layer fed and with the material of the lower layer sealed in predetermined areas. After that, the Upper web for the formation of tear tabs and tear lines through and punched. Finally, the sealed Composite with the dosage forms positioned according to the sample separated from the following lanes.
