Dicke aufweisen. Erfindungsgemäß ist erkannt worden, dass zwar der Arbeitsbereich einer derartigen Zange in aller Regel eine größere Breite (und gegebenenfalls auch : Dicke) aufweisen muss, als es der Schlitzbreite entspricht. Nicht dagegen der Griffbereich. Hier fehlende Breite (und gegebenenfalls auch: Dicke) kann, wenn gewünscht, geeignet kompensiert werden. Der durchgesteckte Zangenschenkel ist in dem aufnehmenden Zangenschenkel nicht mehr aufgrund seiner Geometrie allein (ohne Berücksichtigung des Gelenkzapfens) gefangen. Der durchgesteckte Zangenschenkel ist nur vermittels des Gelenkzapfens in dem aufnehmenden Zangenschenkel in Durchsteckrichtung gehaltert. - Pliers according to any of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the gripping sleeve (8) of the inserted pliers limb (2) has a reinforcing element (11, 12).
- Pliers according to Claim 4, characterised in that the reinforcing element (11, 12) extends longitudinally and is formed to extend in the longitudinal direction of the gripping sleeve (8, 9).
- Pliers according to either of Claims 4 and 5, characterised in that the reinforcing element (11) is a metal part.
- Pliers according to any of Claims 4 to 6, characterised in that the reinforcing element (11) is secured by being over-moulded in the gripping sleeve (8, 9).
- Pliers according to any of Claims 4 to 7, characterised in that two reinforcing elements (11) are provided in the gripping sleeve (8, 9), the elements being on opposite sides with respect to the insertion opening (10) in which the gripping region of the pliers limb (2, 3) is received.
- Pliers according to any of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the box-joint slot (6) is formed to have the same width over its length (L).
- Pliers according to Claim 9, characterised in that the length (L) of the box-joint slot (6) corresponds to 3 to 10 times the slot width (s).
- Pliers according to any of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the box-joint slot (6) is formed by a milling operation.
