Description

The invention relates to an arrangement according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Such an arrangement goes out of the DE 41 32 407 A1 out.

Such an arrangement can be used, for example, for common connection of at least two conductors of a harness for electrical equipment and motor vehicles to a common potential, such as "ground". Such a connection is usually via an electrical conductor, which is arranged together with other conductors in a holder. For the connection of all conductors, a metallic stamped grid with projections is mounted in known technology in an existing housing made of insulating material, on which the plug contacts of all conductors can be plugged. Different electrically conductive cross-sections of the respective conductors and a conductor having a relatively large cross-section leading to the common potential can lead to problems because the stamped grid, including its projections serving as mating contacts, has constant dimensions and thus a constant electrically conductive cross section.

The DE 44 41 727 A1 describes a connector with a connector housing in which receiving chambers for inserting electrical connectors are mounted in two superposed planes. The overhead storage chambers have larger dimensions than the ones below. Depending on the current, appropriately sized plugs of different sizes can be plugged into the receiving chambers.

The known arrangement according to the US 2007/0202753 A1 consists of a connector in which a number of sockets are provided in a first holder and a corresponding number of connector pins in a second holder. Both holders are housed in working position in a housing. The second holder is designed as a circuit board with conductor tracks, with which the connector pins are electrically connected. The plug pins are electrically conductively connected to each other according to a predetermined pattern in different numbers by each separate interconnects.

From the above-mentioned DE 41 32 407 A1 shows a hunt group for electrical distribution systems, which has a plurality of terminals of the same potential, which are all mechanically and electrically connected to a busbar. The terminals have in part a smaller connection cross-section and in part a larger connection cross-section. They are suitable for connecting corresponding electrical conductors with different current load.

The invention has for its object to make the initially described arrangement so that a simple connection of the conductor to a common potential is possible.

This object is achieved according to the characterizing features of claim 1.

Through the use of equipped with connector pins, provided with a conductor board, the electrical connection of the conductor is greatly simplified with a common potential. The pins can be pressed as electrical press-in contacts at any desired location and with any given cross-sectional size in the area correspondingly designed trace of the board. The arrangement is thereby easily adapted to the electrically conductive cross sections of the conductors to be connected or to their plug contacts. This advantage of the board and its trace is used particularly effectively in this arrangement, because of the intended for connection to the common potential conductor with compared to the other conductors much larger electrically conductive cross section as well as the other head on a correspondingly larger sized, can be plugged in the board existing pin.

In the embodiment of the arrangement according to the Fig. 1 to 3 The holder 1 is used to receive mutually insulated plug contacts 3, which are attached to the stripped ends of insulated electrical conductors 4 and 5 are connected to the insulating material consisting of a connector holder 1 and the same in working position. The plug contacts 3 are in each case adapted to the cross section of the conductors 4 and 5. The holder 1 has in a known technique parallel to each other, for simplicity not shown through holes in which the individual plug contacts 3 can be fixed. The conductors 4 are to be connected to a common potential, by means of the likewise equipped with a plug contact 3 conductor 5. In the illustrated embodiment, five conductors 4 are shown, all an electrically conductive cross-section of, for example, 0.75 mm 2 , but also different Can have cross sections. The conductor 5 has, for example, a conductive cross section of 2.5 mm 2 . It may also be less than or more than five conductors 4 with attached plug contacts 3 housed in a holder 1.

To accommodate the assembled with plug contacts 3 and connected conductors 4 and 5 holder 1 is used in working position - as already mentioned - the housing 2. In the housing 2, a circuit board 6 is arranged, which has a conductor track 7. The conductor 7 is in this arrangement, a conductor surface which occupies almost the entire surface of the board 6. The conductor surface can optionally be arranged on one of the two surfaces of the board 6, but also as an intermediate layer in the same. For the sake of simplicity, the word "trace" will be further used in the following. In the track 7 of the board 6 are designed as press-fitting pins 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 are pressed, which serve as mating contacts for attaching the plug contacts 3.

In this case, plug pins are used whose cross section is adapted to the electrically conductive cross section of the conductors 4 and 5 to be connected or to their plug contacts 3. In the illustrated embodiment according to Fig. 2 have the connection of the conductor 4 serving pins 9 to 13 all have a same cross-section, while the pin 8 for connection of the conductor 5 has a larger cross-section. The cross sections of the plug pins 9 to 13 could also be different for adaptation to different cross sections of the conductors 4 or to their plug contacts 3.

The connector may be in a opposite Fig. 1 another embodiment according to Fig. 3 be designed as a one-piece support 17, which is used for simultaneous fixation of the assembled with plug pins board 6 and the plug contacts 3 with connected conductors 4 and 5. The range of functions of holder 1 for receiving mutually insulated plug contacts 3 and their necessary interference fit and housing 2 with therein board 6 is thereby ensured unrestricted by the carrier 17. Material and assembly costs are reduced in this embodiment of the connector.

In a further modification of the arrangement can according to Fig. 4 For example, the pin 8 against the outgoing direction of the pins 9 to 13 run. The orientation of the conductor 5, which serves to connect to the common potential, and that of the conductor 4 to be connected is thus separated from each other. The holder 1 and the carrier 17 then need to record only the plug contacts 3 with the connected conductors 4 on the corresponding side.

In a similar sense, two or more connector pins with changed orientation can be additionally mounted in the board 6. It can be achieved by a better wiring in a harness and better space utilization.

When the arrangement according to the invention is used in connection with cable harnesses of electrical appliances, in particular of motor vehicles, it can be divided, for example, into two sets of cables, as shown in FIG Fig. 5 is shown schematically.

The basis of the Fig. 1 and 4 Parts of the arrangement described here are for example part of two different cable sets 18 and 19. The housing 2 with board 6 then belongs, for example, to a supply serving cable set 19. This has the task of the harness 18 to provide the corresponding required potential. Holder 1 and guided therein plug contacts 3 with connected conductors 4 are parts of the cable set 18. In working position carried by the plug contacts 3 of the conductor 4, the connection to the pins 9 to 13 and thus to the cable set 19 made available potential.
