Description

The technical sector of the present invention is that of demining devices of a field and more particularly of demining plows.

The current use of surface demolition plows is through the maintenance of a plow at ground level by a hydraulic interface carried by a vehicle such as a tractor or an armored vehicle. The plow is equipped with scarification teeth intended to penetrate the soil and to extract buried mines. Pads, secured to the plow, used to adjust the depth of insertion of the teeth, so the depth of mine clearance. The plow also has a blade to evacuate mines extracted on the side of the cleared path.

A major disadvantage of currently known plows lies in the fact that during scarification, soil accumulates at the blade, which generates significant friction forces and is a constraint to the displacement of the plow. It is then necessary that the vehicle supporting the plow provide a significant effort. Another disadvantage, related to the nature of the soil and the friction, is the premature wear or the breaking of the teeth of scarification.

Une telle charrue est connue du document WO 03/091653 A .Such a plow is known from the document WO 03/091653 A .

The object of the present invention is to provide a demining device having a low resistance to movement.

The invention therefore relates to a demining device for equipping a civilian or military vehicle, consisting of at least one frame, a discharge blade and scarification teeth integral with the blade, characterized in that it comprises a sub-blade disposed under the blade and adjustable in position relative to the blade.

According to one characteristic of the invention, the sub-blade comprises recovery teeth.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the recovery teeth are arranged to be located between two scarification teeth.

According to yet another characteristic of the invention, the scarification teeth have an upper edge and in that the sub-blade moves parallel to the upper edges of the scarification teeth.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the blade is in the form of a central bow and at least two half-bows arranged on either side of the central bow.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the central bow is fixed on a support structure connected to the frame by means of a horizontal pivot connection.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the central bow is secured to a rocker supported by the supporting structure by means of a pivot connection, said rocker ensuring servocontrol of the central bow and being indexed on the half-bows side.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the device comprises a rocker supported by the support structure by means of a pivot connection.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the balance comprises arms whose end is provided with contact rolls intended to cooperate with the lateral half-bows.

According to yet another characteristic of the invention, each tooth of the blade is fixed by means of a shearable pin according to an adjustable threshold to allow the release of said tooth when encountering an obstacle.

According to yet another characteristic of the invention, each tooth is connected to an electric cable whose rupture indicates the absence of said tooth.

  • the figure 1 is a general view of the invention,
  • the Figures 2a and 2b represent the invention in two different configurations,

Par ailleurs, on a aussi représenté des déclencheurs magnétiques 10 pouvant équiper le dispositif 1.The figure 1 is a general view showing a demining device 1 according to the invention. This demining device (or "demining plow") is intended to equip a civilian or military vehicle (not shown) and to be placed at the front of this vehicle. The device 1 comprises a frame 2 on which is fixed a discharge blade 3, arms 6 whose end is provided with pads 5 and a fastening means 8 for fixing the device 1 to the vehicle intended to maneuver. The device according to the invention also comprises teeth 4 of scarification integral with the blade 3 (itself secured to the frame 2) and a sub-blade 7 disposed under the blade 3 and whose principle of use will be explained later . The sub-blade 7 comprises recovery teeth 11 arranged to be located between two teeth 4 of scarification. Furthermore, magnetic triggers 10 can also be shown that can equip the device 1.

In this embodiment, the blade 3 is in the form of a central bow 3a and lateral half-bows 3b, 3c, disposed on either side of the central bow 3a. The half-bows 3b, 3c have ends 3d, 3e folding. Such folding half-bows are already known and do not need to be specifically described. However, reference may be made to the patent application No. EP1434024 which already bears on the folding of the ends of the bows. The central bow 3a supports a rocker 9 which will be more particularly described later.

The Figures 2a and 2b represent the invention in two different configurations and illustrate the principle of operation of the blade 3 and its sub-blade 7.

The figure 2a illustrates the invention in a first configuration of deep mine clearance. In this configuration, the scarification teeth 4 penetrate almost completely into the ground (for example 30 cm) and the sub-blade 7 is arranged so that its recovery teeth 11 are flush with the ground. Conventionally, the depth of plowing (thus the depression of the scarification teeth in the ground) is adjusted by means of the arms 6 (only one of which is visible). The pads 5 are supported on the ground and the arms 6 allow to position the frame relative to the pads (so the ground). The blade 3 and the teeth 4 being secured to the frame, are therefore also adjusted in position relative to the ground by means of the arms 6. The use of a sub-blade provided with recovery teeth advantageously allows to leave a space under the blade 3 allowing the evacuation of the earth to prevent the accumulation of soil in the blade 3 and to reduce the friction forces with the ground. Advantageously again, the recovery teeth 11 arranged between two scarification teeth 4 make it possible to achieve a raking effect and to prevent the mines from passing under the sub-blade 7. Thus, the inter-tooth distance as well as the distance will be calculated. above the ground to which the sub-blade 7 must be arranged according to the dimensions of the mines to be recovered, so that the mines can not pass between two teeth. In order to reduce the frictional forces, it will also be ensured that the recovery teeth 11 are flush with the ground without penetrating it.

The figure 2b illustrates the invention in a second mine clearance configuration at medium depth. In this configuration, the scarification teeth 4 penetrate partially in the soil (for example 20cm). The sub-blade 7 is adjustable in position relative to the blade 3 and is positioned so that its recovery teeth 11 are flush with the ground. It will be noted that the scarification teeth 4 have an upper edge 12. The sub-blade 7 moves parallel to the upper edges 12 of the scarification teeth 4 so that, irrespective of the depression of the scarification teeth, at ground level the recovery teeth 11 and the scarification teeth 4 are substantially aligned, which, combined with the displacement of the plow, makes it possible to rake the ground and to trace the excavated mines which will then slide on the sub-blade 7 to the blade 3 to then be evacuated along the blade 3 to a lateral end of the blade and fall on the side of the demining path. For this purpose, the kinematics of the sub-blade 7 is defined so that the upper surface 13 of the sub-blade 7 and the surface 14 of the blade 3 form a substantially continuous surface facilitating the evacuation of mines.

The recovery teeth 11 are fixed on the blade root. Beams 20, substantially perpendicular to the blade root 22, allow the attachment and positioning of the sub-blade relative to the blade 3.

The figure 3b illustrates more particularly the method of fixing and positioning the sub-blade. The beams 20 slide in a housing 23 of the frame 2, under the blade 3. The beams 20 comprise several parallel holes 21. The frame 2 also has orifices 24 intended to cooperate with the bores 21. The adjustment in position of the sub-blade 7 with respect to the blade 3 is carried out in the following manner: The depth of plowing is adjusted in position. The sub-blade 7 is then moved by translation until the recovery teeth 11 are flush with the ground. The sub-blade 7 is moved substantially so that for each beam 20, a bore 21 is opposite an orifice 24 of the frame 2, and a pin 25 is placed through the bore 21 and the orifice 24 to immobilize the sub-blade 7 relative to the frame.

The figure 4 represents the central bow 3a and its supporting structure.

The end of the structure 15 opposite the central bow 3a is intended to be connected to the frame 2 (not shown) by means of a pivot link 18 horizontal. In the same way as for the frame 2, the structure 15 supports scarification teeth. A rocker 9 is also supported by the supporting structure 15 by means of a pivot connection 17. The rocker 7 comprises arms 18 whose end is provided with contact rolls 16.

The figure 5 illustrates the enslavement of the central bow relative to the lateral half-bows.

The enslavement of the central bow 3a is done through the rocker 9 indexed on the lateral half-bows 3b and 3c by means of the contact rollers 16. The lateral half-bows 3b and 3c are positioned in height thanks to the arms 6 provided of their pads 5 which are supported on the ground. However, the ground may be rough or inclined, the side bows are then located at different heights relative to each other. The rocker 9 thus makes it possible to position the central bow 3a at an intermediate level between the lateral bows. Such an embodiment advantageously makes it possible to dispense with an arm and a skid intended for the central bow and thus to reduce the friction forces applied to the plow.

The device according to the invention is completed by a system for fixing the breaking threshold of the scarification teeth and detecting the release of said teeth in order to allow the stall of a scarification tooth when it encounters an obstacle hindering the operation of the plough

Each scarification tooth 4 has a notch 30, surmounted by a slot 33, and a hole 31 for fixing the tooth on the blade 3.

La dent 4 de scarification est solidaire de la lame 3 par l'intermédiaire d'une goupille cisaillable 32.The figure 7 is a sectional view of a link at break point between a scarification tooth 4 and the blade 3. At the piercing 31, the scarification tooth 4 is disposed between two lugs 35 integral with the blade 3. The two legs 35 have an opening 34 of the same diameter as the bore 31 of the tooth. The scarification tooth 4 is secured to the blade 3 by means of a shear pin 32.

The sheave pin 32 is in the form of a tubular cylinder having restrictions 36 whose dimensions are calculated to allow a calibrated breaking of the pin when the forces applied to the tooth 4 exceed a breaking threshold.

Les figures 8a à 8c illustrent le mode de décrochage d'une dent 4.The Figures 8a to 8c illustrate the stall mode of a tooth 4.

On the figure 8a , we see that the notch 30 (not visible in this figure) of the scarification tooth 4 cooperates with an axis 37 of the blade 3 and the bore 31 (not visible in this figure) of the scarification tooth 4 cooperates with the shear pin 32 as previously described.

When a scarification tooth 4 encounters an obstacle hindering the operation of the plow, the pin 32 is broken and the tooth 4 pivots about the axis 37 (as shown figure 8b ) then comes off the blade freely (as shown figure 8c ).

Of course, the break point of the pin 32 is adjusted according to the nature of the ground to be cleared.

In order to detect this break, each tooth 4 is connected to an electrical cable whose breaking causes the appearance of a signal to the operator. For example, the electric cable can be passed through the aperture 33 and when the pin 32 breaks, the tooth 4 comes off and the light 33 cuts the cable acting as a cutting plier, which makes it possible to detect the break of a tooth.

Thus, the operator is warned of the increase in the gap between a blade tooth and the adjacent tooth of the sub-blade. This operator is therefore informed of the possibility that mines are left in place or pass under the vehicle. This fixation of the tooth makes it possible to increase the safety provided by the device according to the invention.
