Description

The present invention relates to an arrangement having a wall, in particular a foam-backed wall, and a component anchored in an opening of the wall and a device housing in which the component is used.

The housing of a refrigerator such as a refrigerator, a freezer or the like is conventionally realized as a hollow body with an outer wall and an inner wall, which enclose a filled with insulating foam cavity. The Isolierschaum is generated in the cavity by a polymer material, in particular polyurethane, pressurized gas is injected into the cavity and driven therein expands by the pressure of the gas. The drive by the expanding pressurized gas causes the foam material to spread to a remote angle of the cavity and form a closed insulating foam layer of uniform consistency which sets in the cavity. In this way can be made quickly and easily housing with complicated shapes and good thermal insulation capacity. However, the pressure of the propellant gas also means that if the cavity is not completely sealed prior to injection of the polymer material, the still liquid foam can escape from a crack of the cavity to the outside. Trained, set foam is only with great effort, if at all, to be removed without leaving a trace, so that from a not sufficiently dense cavity escaping foam can lead to significant economic losses in the device manufacturing.

In order to lead lines for refrigerant, electrical energy or signals, water and / or other resources through the foam layer of such a refrigeration device housing or mounting components in the housing, openings must be cut in the walls, in which then a passage, a backing part or the like is mounted. Conventionally, sealing between such a component and the wall of the refrigerator housing by taping with tape, which requires a considerable amount of manual labor. In order to reduce the labor involved in masking, it has also been suggested to attach one to an opening of the wall mounting member to be provided with an elastic skirt projecting from the main body of the component, from which a free edge is provided to tightly abut against a surface of the wall and thus to prevent a passage of foam between the wall and the skirt. In a round body, the skirt is cone-shaped; in an elongated body it has a cone-like shape.

To anchor a round body to a wall opening a bayonet coupling between the wall and the base body is in use. For this purpose, the substantially circular opening in the circumferential direction has alternating portions of large and small radius, and in section along a radial plane of the main body L-shaped retaining ribs are in a first orientation of the component by the portions of large radius in a to Wall perpendicular direction and engage behind in a locked orientation, after rotating around the axis of the body, the edges of the opening in the small radius sections. A support of the component to more than half of the circumference of the opening is excluded in this solution. In order to avoid breaking the component out of the opening under load, the thickness of the wall must not be too low. However, a high wall thickness requires a high cost of materials and causes correspondingly high production costs.

An object of the present invention is to provide an arrangement with a wall and a component anchored to an opening of the wall, which has a high load-bearing capacity of the component, even at low wall thickness.

The object is achieved by an arrangement according to claim 1. The elasticity allows the wall or the retaining ribs to dodge each other when inserted into the opening transversely to the longitudinal direction and still attack after insertion firmly and over a long length to each other.

At an end facing away from the second portion of the opening end, the two holding ribs are preferably curved to converge. This gives the respective ends, which are first inserted when inserting the component into the opening, a high rigidity, which prevents, despite the elastic stresses occurring during insertion between wall and component, the holding ribs are completely torn out of their engagement at the edges of the opening ,

In a section transverse to the longitudinal direction, the two retaining ribs preferably each have two legs which meet at an obtuse angle. This arrangement of the legs causes the retaining ribs are pushed against each other during insertion under elastic deformation of the component, which facilitates the insertion and reduces the required deformation of the wall for insertion.

On the one hand, a flexible apron projecting from the main body and surrounding the opening on the wall ensures, independent of fluctuations in the thickness of the wall, the play-free support of the component, and on the other hand forms a seal between different sides of the wall.

The presence of a foot portion extending outwardly from the main body and away from the wall between the main body and a main portion extending outwardly and toward the wall enables the component to conform to different thicknesses of the wall, and in particular to a thick wall effectively and without over-deformation of the main section by shifting a transition between the foot area and the main area depending on the wall thickness. The skirt can thus adapt to different wall thicknesses without having to change the angle at which the main section extends in relation to the axis. A flattening of the main portion, which could lead to a critical stretching of the skirt in the circumferential direction is thus avoided. If the directions in which the main section and the foot section extend in the section intersect the axis at opposite equal angles, any expansion of the skirt in the circumferential direction can be avoided. However, it may be quite appropriate to provide different angles of intersection of the main portion and the foot portion with the axis, on the one hand to achieve a certain elongation of the skirt when mounted on a wall, as this strain contributes to the pressure, as the skirt exerts on the wall On the other hand, however, to keep this strain so low that a material damage is excluded.

In order to avoid an excessive deformation possibly exceeding the elastic limit in a section connecting the main section and the foot section, the latter is preferably curved in section with a radius of curvature which is a multiple of its wall thickness.

The main portion and the foot portion may also be connected via a section that runs in a wave-shaped manner.

The main portion is preferably surrounded by an edge portion having a wall-contacting side with a radius of curvature that corresponds at least to the thickness of the main portion. While in an apron in which an edge of the main section directly touches the contact plane, the radius of curvature at the point of contact can not be greater than half the wall thickness of the main section even with optimally uniform rounding of the edge, with the increased radius of curvature a significant broadening of the contact zone between Skirt and wall, which seals more reliably and is better protected against damage.

In order to make the edge portion sturdy, its wall thickness is preferably the same as that of the main portion or larger.

The radius of curvature of the edge portion at its contact-plane contacting side is preferably a multiple of the wall thickness of the main portion and / or the edge portion. It can be several millimeters.

The main body and the skirt may be integrally molded, in which case the skirt preferably has a smaller wall thickness than the main body to ensure the required elasticity.

Alternatively, the skirt may be made of a more flexible material than the main body and integrally formed therewith.

In order to ensure a sufficient dimensional stability of the main body, in particular if it consists of a moderately flexible material, the main body may be provided on a side facing away from the contact plane side with stiffening ribs. In order not to hinder evasion of the holding ribs during insertion of the component into the opening, the stiffening ribs expediently do not extend to side walls of the component.

The component according to the invention may in particular be a cable feedthrough, a backing part for interior lighting of a refrigeration appliance or a holder for an element to be mounted on the wall.

When the component is inserted into the opening of the wall in the first direction, it may conveniently be latched in the opening by a projection which contacts an edge of an opening of the wall to block displacement of the component in the opposite direction to the first direction , The opening into which the projection engages may be the same as or engaged by the retaining ribs.

In order to additionally secure the component against the wall, the projection can be designed as a latching hook.

The latching hook may have a tip which engages a side remote from the main body of the wall.

A device housing according to the invention has a solid outer skin and a solid inner skin, which enclose a filled with insulating foam cavity, and the inner skin forms the wall of the arrangement described above.

A backing part 1 for interior lighting of a refrigeration device is in Fig. 1 in a plan view of its in the mounted state the interior of a refrigeration appliance side facing, in Fig. 2 in a section along the line LL of Fig. 1 and in Fig. 4 in a section along the line KK of Fig. 1 shown. The cutting planes intersect each other in one Fig. 2 and 4 each designated Z reference axis. The Backing member 1 has a rigid planar base plate 2 in the form of a rectangle with rounded corners, which extends perpendicular to the reference axis Z. A recess 3 formed centrally in the base plate 2 is provided to a lighting means, as well as in their in Fig. 1 upper area 6 a socket and in the lower area 5, if necessary, a reflector (all not shown) record. The lower portion 5 of the recess 3 has a curved bottom, which is stiffened on its outer side by ribs 4. On one side of the lower region 5 along a cable channel 7, which is provided to receive a connected to the base in the upper region 6 supply cable extends.

The base plate 2 and the recess 3 may be considered as a main body of the backing member 1, which is provided to be mounted to an opening of a wall by means of components described below.

Along the edges of the recess 3 are from the base plate 2 in cross section L-shaped retaining ribs 8 from. As in particular in Fig. 2 can see, the retaining ribs 8 each have a first leg 9 which protrudes perpendicularly from the base plate 2 in extension of side walls 32 of the recess 3, and second legs 10, each of the lower ends of the first leg 9 in substantially opposite directions and make an obtuse angle with the legs 9 forming. The retaining ribs 8 define, together with the base plate 2, two laterally open grooves 11, which serve for fastening the backing part 1 to a wall, as will be explained in more detail later.

In einem Abstand von den gegenüberliegenden, unteren Längsenden der Halterippen 8 stehen zwei Rastvorsprünge 12 von der Grundplatte 2 ab.At one of its longitudinal ends, the upper in the representation of the Fig. 1 , the two holding ribs 8 converge toward each other, following the rounded shape of the base plate 2. At a distance from the opposite, lower longitudinal ends of the retaining ribs 8 are two locking projections 12 from the base plate 2 from.

The base plate 2 is surrounded on its entire circumference by a resilient skirt 13, which is divided radially from the inside out into a foot portion 26, a main portion 14 and a rim portion 15. The foot portion 26 extends as in FIG Figures 2 and 4 to be seen, in each case from the edge of the base plate 2 at an angle β to the axis Z radially outwards and upwards in the illustration of Fig. 2 or to the left in the representation of Fig. 4 , The main portion 14 extends from Foot portion 26 from at an angle α to the axis Z radially outward and downward in the illustration of Fig. 2 or to the right in the representation of Fig. 4 , The edge portion 15 is curved in section, wherein a convex side of the curvature in the assembled state of the backing part 1 of the backing part 1 bearing wall is facing.

As in the enlarged partial section of the Fig. 5 can be seen, the integrally formed with the base plate 2 skirt 13 has a smaller wall thickness than this, so that even if the backing member consists of one piece of a moderately elastic material such as polypropylene, it has the necessary elasticity to be tight with its edge portion 15 to cling to the wall. The wall thickness of the skirt 13 is at the in Fig. 5 shown embodiment in the main portion 14, in the foot portion 26 and the edge portion 15, the same.

In the Fig. 3 Opening 16 shown in a fragment of a wall 19 is provided to lock the backing member 1 therein. It comprises a first, elongated portion 17, the edges of which are adapted to the profile of the holding ribs 8, and a second portion 18 which is wide enough to push the second legs 10 of the holding ribs 8 parallel to their longitudinal direction. The length of the first portion 17 is substantially the same as the length of the holding ribs 01, and both are several times greater than the length of the portion 18. By first passing the converging ends of the holding ribs 8 through the second portion 18 and in the Perspective of FIGS. 1, 3 pushed upwards, the second leg 10 come to rest on the edges 33 of the first portion 17, wherein these edges 33 engage in the grooves 11 of the backing part 1. During insertion, the retaining ribs 8, as long as they are not yet in their entire length within the opening 19, extend at a small angle obliquely to the surface of the wall 19, and it is essentially the corners 34 of the edges 33 which are adjacent to the section 18 Press against the legs 10 and thereby slightly out of the plane of the wall 19 are deflected out elastically. The holding ribs 8 can yield elastically to the pressure of the corners 34 by slightly moving towards each other at the level of the corners. At the same time the skirt 13 is elastically deformed in contact with the wall 19, but its compliance is much greater than that of the wall 19 and the retaining ribs 8. Once the rear ends of the retaining ribs facing away from the section 17 edge 35 of section 18, the deformed edges 33 and retaining ribs 8 relax, and the retaining ribs 8 are aligned parallel to the wall 19.

The latching protrusions 12 are placed so that they pass the lower edge of the portion 18 just as the converging ends of the ribs 8 abut the upper edge of the portion 17 and, as in FIG Fig. 6 shown, snap onto the wall 19.

As by comparing the section through the pressing against the wall 19 apron 13 with the in Fig. 6 To recognize as dashed contour drawn section through the unloaded skirt, the directions in which the foot portion 26 and the main portion 14 extend, unchanged in the mounted skirt 13. The skirt 13 relieves the pressure of the wall 19 by displacing a transitional region 27 between the foot section 26 and the main section 14 radially outwardly, ie by widening the leg section 26 at the expense of the main section 14. The skirt 13 is stressed by this deformation substantially to bending, but little to elongation. A folding away of the skirt 13 away from the wall 19 is excluded even with strong deflection of its edge region 15. So that the bending stress does not act too narrowly concentrated on the skirt 13, the transition region 27 has a not too small radius of curvature in the order of a multiple of the wall thickness of the skirt 13th

In the latched position, a convexly convex surface 20 of the edge portion 15 presses against the wall 19. The radius of curvature of this convex surface 20 is also substantially greater than the wall thickness of the skirt 13. It may be several millimeters, while the wall thickness to the necessary elasticity to ensure it should be significantly smaller than 1 millimeter. The contact zone between the edge portion 15 of the skirt and the wall 19 is spaced a distance from the radially outer edge 21 of the skirt so that a notch or other slight damage to the outer edge 21 easily by handling the backing piece 1 prior to its assembly may arise, the tightness of the contact between the skirt and the wall is not affected.

In the embodiment of Fig. 5, 6 the locking projection 12 has a latching nose 22, which in the assembled state of Fig. 6 on the side facing away from the base plate 2 side of the wall 19 abuts. When the retaining ribs 8 are as in Fig. 1 shown extend over significantly more than half the length of the base plate, this locking lug 22 is not essential, since already the second leg 10 of the retaining ribs hold the backing part 1 pressed against the wall 19. In this case, therefore, a simple projection 12 'of in Fig. 7 shown form without locking lug whose locking action is limited to lock after locking a backward displacement of the backing part 1 in the longitudinal direction of the opening 16. If the retaining ribs 8, for example, only from their converging ends to the section line LL of Fig. 1 extend, the locking lug 22 ensures that the base plate 2 is held parallel to the wall 19 and the skirt 13 is uniformly deformed over its entire circumference.

A second alternative embodiment of the latching projection 12 "is in Fig. 8 shown. The locking projection 12 "has a hairpin-like shape with a first leg 23 obliquely from the base plate 2 to the (in Fig. 8 not shown), and a wall 19 parallel to the second leg 24 which connects the free end of the first leg 23 with a barb 25 which in the assembled state of the backing part as the projection 12 'of Fig. 7 abuts an edge of the portion 18 of the opening 16. If during the insertion of the backing part 1 according to this embodiment in the opening 16 of the barbs 25 along the wall 19 along, it allows him the hairpin-like arrangement of the legs 23, 24, to the base plate 2 to escape until the opening 16 is reached, in which he engages elastically. If after the engagement one in the perspective of the Fig. 8 Downward force acting on the backing part 1, it is retained by the barb 25, wherein the loaded on compression first leg 23 keeps the second leg 24 pressed against the wall 19.

Fig. 9 shows a section through a skirt 13 'according to a further developed embodiment of the invention. Here, instead of the foot section 26 with the main section 14 directly connecting curved transition region 27, a wave-shaped section 28 is provided. The wave-shaped section is shown here with a respective flank 29, which is essentially parallel to the foot section 26, and a flank 30 which is substantially parallel to the main section 14; but it can also several pairs of such flanks 29, 30 follow one another in the radial direction. Here, the deformation that the apron 13 'undergoes during assembly of the backing part is distributed over a plurality of curved transition regions 31, both between the flanks 29, 30 themselves and between in each case one of the flanks 29, 30 and the foot or main section 26 14. Thus, the skirt 13 'is adaptable to greatly varying thicknesses of the wall 19, or it can be realized with a relatively large wall thickness rendering it insensitive to damage.

Another alternative embodiment of the skirt 13 "is in Fig. 10 shown in section. While in the design of the FIGS. 5, 6 a large radius of curvature of the wall 19 facing convex surface 20 is realized by the fact that the same wall thickness as the main portion 14 having edge portion 15 is curved in itself, is in the embodiment of Fig. 10 a corresponding large radius of curvature realized by the edge portion 15 is designed as a thickened, in cross-section here in approximately circular bead. This thickening makes the edge portion 15 insensitive to damage prior to assembly. Since stretching of the edge portion 15 is not required in the backing piece according to the invention to make the skirt compliant, the bead does not limit the adaptability of the skirt 13 "to different thicknesses of the wall 19.
