Definitions

  • the invention relates to a handgun according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the particular application of the handgun (short or long weapon) according to the invention are hunting rifles, sporting weapons and service weapons in the police and military.
  • Handguns basically have at least one barrel. Hunting rifles can have a total of up to four runs. At the rear end of the barrel is a cartridge chamber for receiving a cartridge. Each barrel is assigned a manually operable lock. This lock has a hammer, which can be tensioned against the force of a spring. By pressing a trigger the hammer can be released, so that it jumps forward due to the spring force and actuates the firing pin and thus ignites the cartridge. In addition to these manually operated locks, there are also the so-called self-tensioners.
  • the US 2,134,406 A shows a handgun in the form of a rifle of the type specified.
  • This rifle has a barrel with a arranged at the rear end of this barrel chamber for receiving a cartridge.
  • the cartridge chamber is assigned a manually operable lock for clamping a striking piece against the force of a spring.
  • This hammer is associated with an electrical sensor device. This is used to detect whether the hammer is stretched or not.
  • the sensor device has successively arranged bolts, which are longitudinally displaced during a clamping movement of the hammer. In the tensioned state of the hammer while the bolts close an electrical contact and feed a small lamp. This lights up then, when the hammer of the castle is stretched. - Although this sensor device shows when the hammer is in the fire ready state. However, it does not show whether there is a cartridge at all in the cartridge chamber. But only then is the weapon ready to fire with a taut baton.
  • the WO 02/06753 A2 shows a high-tech revolver with a variety of sensors to obtain appropriate operating parameters.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a handgun of the type specified with better security.
  • the basic idea of the invention consists in the fact that the lock is associated with an electrical or electronic sensor device.
  • This sensor device may also be a purely mechanically operating part, such as a switch or a button. It is crucial that then an electrical or electronic processing is carried out to the effect that an electrically operated lamp is driven. As soon as the hammer of the lock is stretched, a corresponding light comes on. Because if there is a cartridge in the cartridge chamber, the weapon is sharp and a shot could be released.
  • the lamp lights up even if the hammer is indeed tense, but there is no cartridge in the cartridge chamber and thus even with a cocked lock there is no danger that a shot could solve.
  • the sensor device which is associated with the hammer, can assume two different positions. On the one hand, the sensor device can be located in the area of the striking piece when it is tensioned. On the other hand, however, the sensor unit can also be in that position when the hammer is not cocked. By appropriate processing electronics, the corresponding signals are then processed.
  • a sensor device can be assigned to the respective cartridge chamber. This means that the lamp lights up when there is a cartridge in the cartridge chamber.
  • a potential danger is given, namely, when the castle is tense. Only if there is no cartridge in the cartridge chamber, there is no danger, even with a tensioned lock.
  • the advantage in the use of a lamp is that it stands out because of its luminosity and in particular can be seen from a distance from third parties.
  • a red light will be used, as with hunting weapons, this color can not be seen by the animals.
  • an electronic-optical security system with its lighting device displays the charging and full-ready state optically.
  • the optical-electronic security device does not work because of a lack of energy, the unit can only be bridged by a manual slide.
  • the hammer is associated with a mechanical locking device which fixes the hammer in the relaxed position. This creates a possibility that the lock can no longer be tensioned or can only be tensioned when the locking device has been unlocked again.
  • This mechanical locking device is electrically operated by means of a battery. In this case, the locking device is in the de-energized state in the locking position. This means that without battery, so if no electrical voltage is delivered, the weapon is not ready to fire.
  • a preferred development in the arrangement of the sensor devices proposes claim 2.
  • the basic idea is that the display device then becomes active and the lamp lights up as soon as a cartridge is in the cartridge chamber and at the same time the lock is cocked.
  • the optical display device then remains active until all locks are knocked off or relaxed. Are all locks knocked off or relaxed and the empty sleeve is still in the chamber, no display occurs.
  • the cocked locks thus form the primary safety mechanism, which ensures the activation of the security system, while the sleeve in the chamber has a secondary function.
  • the sensor device may be formed by a variety of elements, for example by mechanical contacts or switches, by photocells, by magnets, etc.
  • the sensor device for the hammer is arranged between the housing of the handgun and the hammer.
  • the sensor device for the cartridge is preferably arranged in a push bottom of the cartridge chamber. This means that the sensor device is arranged at a location close to the firing pin, so that the contact removal takes place at the bottom of the cartridge chamber in the region of the sleeve bottom of the cartridge.
  • the lamp is formed by an LED or by a CET.
  • CET's has the advantage over the LEDs that they require much less power.
  • the lamp is arranged according to the embodiment in claim 9 at the top of the Schaft Wegens the handgun. This has the advantage that the lamp is in the immediate field of view of the shooter and thus can not be overlooked.
  • the development according to claim 10 suggests that the corresponding electrical power supply can be sealed.
  • the battery compartment is preferably located in the shaft / handle. In this state, in which there is no battery in the battery compartment, the manual lock or manual unlocking of the lock can not be operated, so that the lock can not be tensioned under any circumstances. If, however, there is a battery in the battery compartment, the manual locking or manual unlocking of the lock can be actuated in any case, regardless of whether the battery is full or empty.
  • the weapon has a housing 1 to which a shaft 2 with shaft back 3 and on the left a cartridge chamber 4 with it subsequent run is in the drawing on the right.
  • the chamber 4 is limited by a shock pad 5, in which the firing pin is located. Since it is a double-barreled rifle in the illustrated embodiment, a total of two superposed cartridge chamber 4 are provided.
  • the two striking pieces 7 are each assigned a sensor device 11, which is located within the housing 1 in the region of the blade back 3, d. H. above the hammer 7 in the relaxed state.
  • These sensor devices 11 can be purely mechanical, but also optical, electrical or magnetic. In any case, the two sensor devices 11 are connected to an electronic unit 12, which is located in the shaft together with a battery 13.
  • a second sensor device 14 is arranged in each case in the shock plates 5 of the two chamber 4. These two sensor devices 14 are connected to the electronics 12 in connection. These sensor devices 14 may be the same as the sensor devices 11, but may also be different.
  • a lamp 15 is connected to the shaft back 3.
  • the two striking pieces 7 are each assigned a mechanical locking and unlocking device 16 which define a locking button.
  • This locking and unlocking device 16 is electrically actuated, wherein in the electrically de-energized state, the locking and unlocking 16 position fix the respective impact piece 7, so that the striking pieces 7 can not be converted into the tensioned state.
  • the two striking pieces 7 are in the forward position.
  • the sensor devices 11 recognize that the two striking pieces 7 in this inoperative position.
  • the lamp 15 does not light up in this state.
  • the locking and unlocking 16 blocks the associated hammer 7. This blockage always occurs when the locking device 16 is in an electrically de-energized state. Thus, if the battery 13 is removed from the battery compartment and the battery compartment sealed, an operation of the weapon is no longer possible. Only if there is a battery 13 in the battery compartment (whether it is full or empty), the locking and unlocking 16 can be bridged or operated by hand. This is especially important for hunting weapons, when in cold weather, the battery does not give enough electrical voltage.
