Description

The invention relates to a mounting bracket for connecting wood components with each other and on a substrate according to the preamble of claim 1, as used in particular for planks of balcony and patio covers outdoors use.

Connections of wooden parts with the aim of attaching two parallel planks on a surface outdoors so that on the one hand between the planks an air gap and a space for working the wood and on the other between the ground and the planks also an air-gap Air circulation and as a measure against the decaying - are known.

Thus, in the usual practice between the boards in the longitudinal direction, a spacer bar inserted and as a base under the planks narrow strip pieces are placed in order to achieve a usual distance of at least 5 mm. The attachment is then by means of screws with which the planks are fastened vertically through the support strip pieces on the ground. The spacer strips are then removed. Apart from the fact that the screws of the pierced planks are visible from above, the wood surface is often broken up, so that cracks and protruding splinters form. Moisture penetrates through the holes and damages the wood, and the weather around the holes forms discolorations, which further deepens the previously unsightly aesthetics of the screws. Finally, in the case of long planks, widenings in the wood are created around the screws, provided the wood and the substrate have different expansion coefficients.

From the U.S. Patent 2,116,737 is a connection system known by which provided with tongue and groove boards are fixed to each other and on a substrate. In this case, a mounting bracket is used, the vertical web has at the top three claw-shaped perpendicular protruding nails, which penetrate into the planks surfaces. On the lower bridge side are bent vertically two Angled soles provided, each of about half bridge length, which are bent in opposite directions (left / right). To comply with the distance and attachment to the ground, a U-shaped rail which can be screwed to the substrate is used, which holds the clamp over lateral web shoulders, the planks resting on the legs of the rail. By these known brackets, no distances between the boards are provided, whereby no air circulation possible and no shrinkage is taken into account, so that these brackets are not suitable for the Außertbereich.

From the U.S. Patent 4,421,227 a connecting element is known, which is suitable for the production of corner joints of boxes. The clip is made of a metal band, in which a tongue-shaped angle portion is U-shaped cut out of the band and vertically bent up as a vertical web. In addition, in the plate and in the bridge three corner tongues are formed out as nails, which are taken flat on the boards to be connected. For a front-side connection not visible from the outside, these known brackets are not suitable.

From the DE 102 30 797 C2 For example, a mounting bracket is known which is a double angle composed of two L-profiles and has a substantially inverted T-section. Although the double walledness of the web brings the advantage of an increased strength of the web and a support of the protruding from the two wall parts nails by the respective other wall part, in particular when driving the brackets or nails. The distance between the planks is at least twice the sheet thickness and can be prepared by a providable in the outer part of the web bridge head accordingly, whereby a good ventilation is made possible. In the two angle soles mounting hole are provided, through which the brackets - and thus the planks - are fastened to the ground. In addition, in the angle soles support and Abstandssicken are introduced for better ventilation of the substrate, while at the outer edges downwardly projecting and in the assembled state in the support timber engaging short male connectors are provided. Although these mounting brackets are a very well-functioning robust attachment element, but in particular by the Dappelwandigkeit her Mittelste-ges relatively much material needed. Due to the currently rapidly increasing material costs, in particular for stainless steel, the use of these staples requiring relatively much material is questioned from an economic point of view.

Finally, the shows US 2, 303, 103A a mounting bracket according to the preamble of claim 1 with a plurality of oppositely bent out of the corner portions of a plate-shaped blank vertical tails with nails formed thereon. However, the stiffness and safe handling of the web it is not sufficient, especially for harder wood.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a mounting bracket above genus, which is inexpensive to produce, while maintaining good handling and ensuring good air circulation between the wood parts, and a method for their simple inexpensive production.

This object is achieved by a mounting bracket of the above-mentioned type with the features of claim 1 and a method having features of claim 10. Advantageous embodiments are indicated in the respective dependent subclaims.

Accordingly, the mounting bracket according to the invention consists of a rectangular, preferably square sole plate, are provided at the middle of the transverse extent of two vertical webs at a small spacing in the longitudinal direction side by side. These webs are punched in opposite directions U-shaped from the sole plate and vertically, ie bent by 90 °. In this case, each of the two webs longitudinally and assigned to its top wearing a perpendicular projecting out of this worked tongue or beak-shaped nail, the nails of the two webs are present in each opposite orientation. As a result, the great advantage is achieved that a minimum of material is used, namely only a rectangular, preferably square sheet metal plate with an edge length z. B. of about 5 cm, cut out of the point-symmetrically alternating webs U-shaped and are bent up vertically. It is thus not required for the webs additional material, but only parts or bent-up sections of the sole plate. This will be at least a third to almost saved half of the material in relation to the clamp with double-walled web, which is reflected significantly in the manufacturing cost.

The arranged in opposite orientation in the two webs mounting nails are formed and arranged in an advantageous manner so that each web preferably only one nail is provided, and indeed centrally to its longitudinal extent. In this case, the two perpendicularly but in opposite directions of the two web surfaces freely projecting nails and the clip as a whole, as later mentioned, offset to a centrally present symmetry point laterally symmetrical, so the clip sides are identical in each case with offset by 184 ° of the clip. Due to this point symmetry, the clamp does not have to be specially oriented during assembly, so that an automation of the assembly is conceivable in which the staples can be automatically fed and mounted with a percussion or compressed air press device.

In this case, according to the invention, the nails are vertical, i. bent out of the bridge in a vertical plane relative to the soleplate. If, in addition, the fastening nail is arched downwardly in a trough or arc shape, tapering from the root of the nail to the tip, with a small radius at the tip, the nail shape is strikingly reminiscent of a bird's beak. The nail shape is therefore practically the nature apart and extremely rigid over its entire length.

For additional reinforcement and at the same time optimized guidance of the nails as they penetrate into the wood, they can be provided with a comb-shaped rib on their upper longitudinal side.

Instead of a rib, however, the nails can have a notch-shaped groove in the longitudinal center extension for the same purpose. Such grooves can also be provided in each case on the underside of the nails. By thus obtained additional guidance of the nails when penetrating into the wood, the assembly is also facilitated and suppresses a rotation of the mounting bracket.

Of particular advantage is also when flattened in plate longitudinal direction, the webs Have wavy profiling, whereby the two webs each have opposite bulges. From the respective flat bottoms of the web U-profiles protrude the nails, or from each profiled web a nail protrudes in the middle. This allows a greater width or thickness of the web - and thus a greater distance between the planks can be achieved. So it can be achieved that at a material thickness of z. B. only about 1.5 mm, the width of the web profile is 5 mm or much more, depending on the design of the U-profile.

Apart from the achieved thereby good air circulation through the web or along this along, an optimal elasticity of the clip is achieved, which has a very positive effect in shrinking or swelling processes of the wood, since the clip cooperates in such cases, so to speak, so elastically compress or pull apart. This is due to the bipartite nature of the web or the two webs, as well as the corresponding web profilings.

An advantageous security against rotation of the mounting brackets according to the invention is achieved in that on the sole plate a positive connection with the ground is formed, by the fact that on the sole plate at least one claw-shaped male blade is formed protruding down or bent out. These may be provided as provided on both longitudinal edges of the sole plate provided edge claws, which are pulled or bent at least 0.2 to 2.0 mm, preferably 0.5 mm deeper than the bottom bottom of the profile indentations of the sole plate. When tightening the mounting screws, these press out of the soleplate down outstanding claw edges or male connectors in the support timber.

In order to additionally achieve a pull in the direction of the board when tightening the fastening screws, an angled installation of the fastening bores can be provided by embossing. As a result, the screws can learn from the vertical webs pioneering inclination of 5-30 °, preferably 10-20 °.

The method for producing the pre-trimmed fastening clip according to the invention consists essentially in that in a rectangular, preferably square sheet metal, with z. B. an edge length of about 5 cm, in the longitudinal and transverse directions offset from each other in opposite directions pointing V-shaped incisions and the corresponding cutouts are formed as beak-shaped nails substantially perpendicular or 90 ° to the sole plate. In each case in opposite directions around the Nageizungen around a U-shaped incision is introduced and bent in the same pivoting direction as the nail fences perpendicular, so that the nails are finally each horizontally and thus parallel over the web-cutout opening. It can be seen that the Befestigungsklam-mer in its basic version allows a relatively simple punching technology production.

It is advantageous if in the manufacture of the mounting bracket in the sole plate-forming sheet are first introduced in the transverse direction opposite and longitudinally successively arranged U-profiles in depressed down manner. Thereafter, a beak-shaped nail is introduced by appropriate punching and bending in the flat bottom of each profiling, after which the U-shaped cutouts just outside and parallel introduced the outer profile lines and the profile webs are pushed up accordingly. By introduced in the first manufacturing step, extending in the transverse direction U-indentations or profiles, on the one hand, the bending stiffness of the webs is increased and determines the web width and thus the distance between the planks to each other. On the other hand, a relatively small bearing or contact surface with the support timber is achieved by the respective indentation or profiling floor, whereby it is also ensured by the introduction of the screw holes in this profiling area that only this relatively small area is in close contact with the support Lumber is brought. In addition, it is ensured by the very close arrangement of the screw holes for each, designed as a claw edge longitudinal side of the sole plate that the claw edges, which are drawn deeper than the Einbuchtungsböden, by engaging the screws correspondingly claw into the support wood.

The invention will be explained in more detail by means of embodiments with reference to the drawings.

Out Fig. 1 to 4 It can be seen that the fastening clip according to the invention in the first embodiment consists of a rectangular sole plate, in which two vertical webs 2 and 3 are provided in the central zone of the longitudinal extent next to each other at a short spacing. This vertically oriented U-profiling 4 and 5 respectively has a straight and in the longitudinal direction parallel to each other and to the longitudinal edges of the plate aligned profile bottom 6, with outwardly opening, relatively short legs 7 and 8. Here are at their outer ends relative to the profile bottom 6, 7 and to the longitudinal extent of the sole plate substantially parallel or at least as a short pointing in this direction leg extensions 9 and 10weetertergeführt. The leg extensions 9 and 10 of a web aligned with the profile bottom 6 of the other web, so that each one or the other longitudinal edge 11 or 12 of the sole plate facing surface of the leg extensions 8 and 9 and the profile bottom 6 on the same Line lie and thereby straight and at the same time parallel pads for two miteinan to be joined to the planks 13 and 14 form. Depending on the design of the depth of the U-profiling 4, 5, the gap or distance 15 between the planks can be exactly be-agrees.

From the outer profile bottom surface of each web 2, 3 protrudes in wesentli beak-shaped nail 16 and 17 perpendicular to the web bottom 6 and at the same time parallel to the sole plate 1, of course, also in opposite directions. This also central to the respective bridge and at the same time close to the top edge. These nails 16, 17 are designed to be longer than the height of the webs, so that the correspondingly pointed below the nails extending nail cutout 18 occupies the entire height of the web below the nail and continues to appear in the plate.

On the respective nail side of the webs 2, 3, an opening 20 can be seen in the plate 1, which is obtained by introducing a U-cut or incision 21, whereby the contour of the respective web cut from the sole plate and connect the web was bent upright. On the respective other side of the webs 2 and 3 each have a recess 21 can be seen, seen in longitudinal section has the same U-profile, as the respective webs. In each of these recesses 21, a bore 23 is introduced into the sole plate, wherein the respective outer edge of the recess in relation to the bore is completed rounded so that upon insertion of a screw of the corresponding screw head rests unhindered on the bottom of the recess 22 and a proper Pressing the support wood allows.

In addition, is also in particular from Fig. 1 to recognize that the respective Nagelaus-section 18, starting from the web, is guided into the respective indentation 22, that the bore 23 or corresponding concentric bearing surface is not disturbed for the screw head, but the effective extent of the two lower bearing surfaces of the indentations 21 is reduced. Although a secure fixing on the support timber 24 is thereby possible by the two Schraubpunk te, and at the same time a very large-scale ventilation, in particular from 3 and 4 is recognizable.

The longitudinal edges 11 and 12 of the sole plate are each bent downwards and reaching down slightly further than the lower bottom surfaces 25 of the recesses 22. They form each other along parallel claw edges 26 as in particular 3 and 4 is recognizable. When pressed, festgeschraubter attachment of Klammem, with pressed on the support timber 24 bottom surface 25, the claw edges 26 are imprinted like a knife in the support wood 24, so that a ver-turn, even with attachment only via a screw, is excluded. In addition, this bending increases the flexural rigidity of the soleplate.

In the FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrated second embodiment differs from the above-described embodiment Fig. 1 to 4 merely in that the nails 16 and 17 have a comb-shaped rib 27 on their upper crest. When forming the nails 16, 17 this was given a central kink, whereby at the same time the upper ribs 27 and on the underside notch-shaped grooves 35 were formed. As a result, the bending stiffness and penetrating ability of the respective nail has undergone an improvement.

In addition, a substantially L-shaped bevel 30 is provided at the respective transverse edge 28 or 29 of the sole plates, through which in particular the weakened by the U-opening or -inschnitte 20, 21 side zones receive sufficient flexural rigidity.

FIGS. 7, 8 and 9 show as a further embodiment, a mounting bracket similar to the previous figures, but here have the nails 16, 17 at its upper side in the central longitudinal extent of a notched groove 34 which is introduced by impressing. At the same time, a groove 35 is present on the underside of the nails.

In addition, it can be seen how each concentric with the bores 23 for Befestigungsigüngsschrauben each an embossing 31 is provided so that the axis 32 of the holes 23 at an angle α ° pointing away from the vertical webs 2, 3 are aligned.

10 and 11 show a first step in the non-cutting production of a mounting clip according to the invention, wherein Fig. 10 the V-shaped nail cutouts 18 and 19 can be seen, which are counter-clockwise, point-symmetrically introduced, while out Fig. 11 can be seen how the cutouts 18 and 19 corresponding nails 16, 17 are pressed vertically downwards and beak-shaped.

Fig. 12 illustrates how the respective nail cutout 18, 19 each have a profile indentation 22 is assigned or was introduced into the sole plate 1, together with a respective bore 23rd Fig. 13 also shows how from the bottom of the sole plate 1 now the U-indentations 22 protrude and protrude from these respectively the nails 16 and 17.

FIGS. 14 and 15 show how in a further step each indentation 22 and thus each nail 16, 17 associated with a U-slot 21 or is introduced into the plate 1, wherein the bottom of the U-slot 21 near the root of the nail-cutout 18th , 19 is arranged. In this case, the parallel legs of the U-slot 21 are far enough apart that they are provided outside the outer edges of the U-indentations 22, this parallel to approximately the middle of the transverse extent of the plate.

Zugleich oder bereits in vorhergehendem Schritt, wurden die Längskanten 11 und 12 nach unten gedrückt und bilden je eine Krallenkante 26.Finally show FIGS. 16 and 17 , how in a last step, the U-cutouts 21 were bent perpendicular to the plate extension in the same Blegerichtung as the nails 16, 17, whereby the webs 2 and 3 are formed. At the same time or already in the previous step, the longitudinal edges 11 and 12 were pressed down and each form a claw edge 26th
