Abstract

Bei einem Kraftstoffinjektor (1) für Brennkraftmaschinen mit einem an eine Hochdruckseite (5) angeschlossenen Steuerraum (2), über dessen Druck die Bewegung einer Düsennadel (3) gesteuert wird, und mit einem Steuerventil (6), das die Verbindung des Steuerraums (2) zu einer Niederdruckseite (7) entweder sperrt oder öffnet, weist erfindungsgemäß das Steuerventil (6) einen in einer Bohrung (9a) eines Führungsstücks (9) zwischen zwei Ventilstellungen verschiebbar geführten kraftausgeglichenen Steuerkolben (10) auf, der die Verbindung eines vom Steuerraum (2) kommenden und in die Bohrung (9a) mündenden Verbindungskanals (13) zur Niederdruckseite (7) in seiner geschlossenen Ventilstellung sperrt und in seiner in Richtung fort von der Düsennadel (3) verschobenen geöffneten Ventilstellung freigibt.
