Description
The invention relates to a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, according to the preamble of claim 1.
From practice, a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is known in which a housing is pivotally connected to a transverse end to the working direction of the floor nozzle horizontal tilting axis of a two-axis rotary / tilting joint with a connection end for a suction tube, wherein at the turn / tilt hinge a chassis is arranged with two lateral rollers for supporting the floor nozzle (Wolf GmbH & Co. KG, type "Perfect 280"). In the housing, a bottom plate is tiltably mounted with a wedge-shaped tapering to the lateral edges suction port. While the sliding forces exerted by the suction tube during use are absorbed by the landing gear on the rear turn / tilt joint, the tiltable mounting of the bottom plate should ensure that it rests flat regardless of the nature of the floor to be cleaned. The Saugmundkanten are each covered with sections of Schrägborstenvelours, wherein air passage openings are arranged between the sections. The floor nozzle is suitable as a universal nozzle for carpets and smooth floors. As with known floor nozzles with bristle strips allow the air passage openings a dirt pickup on smooth floors. Furthermore, the floor nozzle is suitable for the reception of animal hair. However, this function is still in need of improvement, since on the one hand in the air passage openings safe fiber intake is not guaranteed and on the other hand due to the tilting mounting of the bottom plate in a forward stroke, the rear Saugmundkante and in a return stroke the front Saugmundkante can be lifted from the ground, so that then a fiber intake is not guaranteed.
Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a floor nozzle for vacuum cleaners, which has a very good fiber-absorbing capacity and is easy to handle.
The object is achieved by a floor nozzle according to claim 1. Even with a typical working width of about 300 mm results from the small length of the suction head a particularly compact design of the floor nozzle, which can be easily handled and stowed as a special accessory for the special recording of fibers. Since usually the Cleaning done with the floor nozzle at least mainly in the forward stroke, is expediently at least the rear suction mouth edge occupied by Schrägborstenvelours, preferably both the rear suction mouth edge and the front suction mouth edge are covered with Schrägborstenvelours.
The invention is based on the consideration that in contrast to the prior art, the floor nozzle should not have a universally balanced suction, but in terms of fiber absorption, especially in the cleaning of carpets optimized. Due to the rigid connection of the suction head to the housing channel, a defined orientation of the suction mouth edges can always be achieved. In particular, the floor nozzle can be designed such that with a slight sinking of the rollers in a carpet, the Saugmundkanten are optimally aligned with regard to an effective fiber intake.
The Schrägborstenvelours extends over a substantial part of the length of the suction mouth edge of typically 80%. Preferably, the Schrägborstenvelours is provided over the entire length of at least one of Saugmundkanten.
In a preferred embodiment, it is provided that the suction mouth edge is covered without interruption with a continuous strip of Schrägborstenvelours, so that along the strip even with a single run over the soil to be cleaned a complete or almost complete fiber intake can be achieved.
In the context of the invention, there are preferred structural embodiments of the floor nozzle, which allow a simple and cost-effective production and easy handling of the floor nozzle. Thus it can be provided that the suction mouth is formed by a single suction channel whose Suction mouth edges run straight across the width of the floor nozzle. The straight course of the Saugmundkanten allows a particularly simple arrangement of Schrägborstenvelours, which can be carried out interchangeable in the invention without limitation, for example by a snap connection to the suction head.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention can also be provided that both Saugmundkanten are occupied by Schrägborstenvelours, wherein the Schrägborstenvelours extending at the front Saugmundkante to the front edge of the suction head and at the rear Saugmundkante to the rear edge of the suction head. Even with a compact construction of the floor nozzle, a large area of the underside of the suction head can be covered with oblique-filament suede to ensure reliable fiber absorption.
In the context of the invention, in the floor nozzle optimized for fiber absorption, typically no functional elements extending along the width of the floor nozzle, such as sealing lips or bristle strips, are provided. While in a conventional, universally applicable floor nozzle the Saugmundkanten are designed to improve the flow of air wedge-shaped as flow separation edges, it is preferably provided in the invention to optimize the shape of the Saugmundkanten in terms of fiber absorption by the Schrägborstenvelours. For this purpose, in a particularly preferred embodiment, the Saugmundkante covered with Schrägborstenvelours curved in cross-section downwards, particularly preferably curved semicircular.
In order to allow a particularly easy handling of the floor nozzle and in particular to limit the required for the movement of the floor nozzle pushing force, additional rollers can at the lateral edges of the suction head be provided, which preferably project between 0.5 and 1, 5 mm with respect to the occupied with Schrägborstenvelours suction mouth. On a smooth floor, the suction mouth edges are slightly raised, the floor nozzle rolls on the at least one roller of the chassis and the additional roles and can be very easily performed. By raising the Saugmundkanten is also achieved that dirt is not pushed in front of the floor nozzle, but always passes under the suction mouth and can be recorded.
The chassis at the turn / tilt joint at the rear of the floor nozzle serves to support the floor nozzle, whereby it can be easily moved. It is particularly advantageous if the chassis has two lateral rollers, wherein the axis of rotation of the rollers coincides with the tilting axis of the rotary / tilting joint. In such an embodiment, it is ensured that regardless of the position of the intake manifold, the sliding forces are completely absorbed by the chassis.
