Description

The invention relates to a plastic sliding sole for a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a molded on its underside suction mouth, which is bounded by a front and a rear suction mouth, a Aufgleitschräge in the working direction in front of the suction mouth, an inclined sliding surface in the working direction behind the suction mouth and one in the suction mouth opening suction port. A sliding sole according to the preamble of claim 1 is made, for example EP-A-2433538 known.
The sliding sole is intended for a bottom suction nozzle and in particular suitable for a bottom suction nozzle, which has a nozzle body with at least one roller and a pivotably mounted on the nozzle body suction head. The nozzle body has at its end remote from the suction head on a pivotally mounted suction pipe connection piece. The pivot axis of the Saugrohranschlussstückes and the pivot axis between the suction head and the nozzle body form two hinge axes. Such a floor nozzle is therefore also referred to as a "double-joint nozzle". The sliding sole is part of the suction head. Due to the pivotable mounting of the suction head, the sliding sole can adapt to the ground surface during a movement of the floor nozzle via a floor surface to be cleaned and is not exposed to the forces which are transmitted to the nozzle body by means of a manually moving suction pipe.
A sliding sole with the features described above is known from practice. When vacuuming textile floor surfaces, the sliding sole lies on the floor surface and is moved alternately with forward and backward movements over the textile floor surface. The sole has to meet a number of requirements. If the sliding sole is part of a double-jointed nozzle, it must be ensured that the sliding sole contributes Forward and backward movements always rest flat on the floor surface and do not tilt during variable forward and backward movements. The sliding sole should therefore have a low sliding resistance. To achieve good suction properties, it is also necessary that the suction mouth edges seal the suction mouth on the bottom side and can therefore build up in the suction mouth over the entire working width of the sole an effective suction vacuum. Furthermore, the suction mouth and the Saugmundbegrenzung must be designed so that the sucked air flow flows around the Saugmundkanten with a high air velocity, so that dust is released from the carpet pile and entrained by the air flow. The effective for the dust absorption edges of the suction mouth must be immersed over the entire working width in the carpet pile. On the other hand, immersion of the suction mouth edges in the carpet causes the sliding resistance to increase at the suction mouth edges and to cause tilting moments on the sliding sole when the floor nozzle moves. In all of this, it should be noted that the suction properties should be uniform over the entire working width of the suction mouth. Finally, a good Randabsaugung is required when the suction nozzle is moved, for example, on baseboards or furniture along.

Against this background, the present invention seeks to provide a plastic sole for a vacuum cleaner nozzle that effectively absorbs dirt on textile floor surfaces over their entire working width and has good sliding properties.

The object of the invention and solution of this problem is a sliding sole made of plastic according to claim 1.

The sliding sole is made of plastic and can be manufactured in particular as an injection molded part with tight manufacturing tolerances. The sliding sole has the features described above. According to the invention, the front suction mouth edge extends without interruption over the entire working width of the soleplate and delimits at both ends of the suction mouth an edge section of the treadmill designed for edge suction. Between the front Aufgleitschräge and the front Saugmundkante a horizontal plateau is arranged, which extends at the level of the front suction mouth edge over the entire length of the front suction mouth edge parallel thereto.

The front suction mouth edge and the plateau adjoining the front suction mouth edge form a boundary of the suction mouth which determines the suction properties and extends over the entire working width of the suction mouth without interruption. When vacuuming textile bottom surfaces, the horizontal plateau arranged between the front slanted slope and the front suction mouth edge forms an effective seal of the suction mouth on the bottom surface, which ensures that the aspirated air enters the suction mouth at a high flow velocity. Dust, which is released by the air flow from the textile pile of the bottom surface, passes through the airflow flowing around the horizontal plateau into the suction mouth. Since the sliding sole can be produced as a plastic injection-molded part with low manufacturing tolerances, the horizontal plateau over the entire working width of the sole has a defined and preferably constant width. As a result, defined flow conditions occur at the suction mouth edge when the sliding sole is moved over a textile bottom surface. The horizontal plateau adjoining the suction mouth edge also improves the sliding properties of the sliding sole on textile floor surfaces. The plateau contributes to that front suction mouth edge does not dig into the textile pile during a forward movement of the sliding sole over a textile floor covering. The invention provided between the front Saugmundkante and the Aufgleitschräge horizontal plateau reduced in a forward movement of the sliding sole the sliding resistance at the front Saugmundkante and helps that no tilting moments are exerted on the soleplate in a movement of the soleplate over a floor surface to be cleaned. The embodiment of the invention combines good suction properties by an effective over the entire working width of the sliding sole seal of Saugmundes opposite the bottom surface and a low sliding resistance in a movement of the sliding sole on a textile floor surface to be cleaned. As a result, the soleplate is particularly suitable for floor nozzles, which are designed in the manner described above as a double-jointed nozzles.

Preferably, the front suction mouth edge is formed in a plan view of the sliding sole as a straight edge and extending to the front suction mouth edge adjacent horizontal plateau with a constant width parallel to the front suction mouth edge. This is preferably formed sharp-edged.

The horizontal plateau provided between the front suction mouth edge and the front slide slope may have a width between 2 mm and 5 mm. The Aufgleitschräge according to the invention has an inclination between 5 ° and 7 ° or is formed as a spherically shaped surface, for example with a radius of 50 to 200 mm.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, the Aufgleitschräge on a plateau adjacent recess for a thread lifter strip. Loose threads that adhere to the thread lifter strip, are from the horizontal air flow around the plateau is detected and reaches the suction mouth with the flow of air. The depression is formed in the Aufgleitschräge and adjacent directly to the plateau. Expediently, depressions for receiving thread lifting strips are provided on both sides of the suction mouth.

The rear suction mouth edge is preferably also sharp-edged. It extends without interruption over the entire working width of the sole and limited at both ends of the suction mouth designed for Randabsaugung end portion of the suction.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the suction mouth has a central suction mouth section delimited by parallel suction mouth edges and adjoining tapered end sections, wherein the rear suction mouth edge is aligned in the end sections at an angle to the front suction mouth edge. The middle suction mouth section expediently extends over more than 30% and preferably over at least 60% of the working width of the sliding sole.

The end sections of the suction mouth can be open at the ends for edge suction. However, an end opening is not absolutely necessary. Preferably, the end portions have a smaller channel depth than the middle suction mouth portion. The channel depth can change continuously starting from a central suction opening, wherein an inclination of the channel bottom can extend into the end sections of the suction mouth. Within the end sections, the channel depth can then change stepwise. The suction air, which enters the suction mouth in the suction mouth, flows to the opening into the suction mouth intake. The suction opening is in particular centrally between the two ends of the Suction mouth arranged. The sides of the suction mouth adjacent to each other are then expediently symmetrical. The geometry and the channel depth of the suction mouth in the end sections are selected such that a sufficiently high flow velocity is established even in the end sections.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the channel forming the suction mouth has an undercut in the flow cross section along the rear suction mouth edge. The channel walls adjoining the suction mouth in cross section preferably extend parallel, so that the channel cross section has the shape of a parallelogram.

Die Fadenheberstreifen 8 schließen zweckmäßig bodenbündig an die Flächen der Aufgleitschräge 4 und der Gleitfläche 5 an.The sliding sole shown in the figures is made of plastic and can be manufactured in one piece as a plastic injection molded part with small dimensional tolerances. The sliding sole is for a vacuum cleaner nozzle for cleaning Floor areas determined. It has a molded on its underside suction mouth 1, which is bounded by a front suction mouth edge 2 and a rear suction mouth edge 3. The suction mouth edges form sharp edges. In the working direction in front of the suction mouth a Aufgleitschräge 4 is provided. In the working direction behind the suction mouth 1 is an inclined sliding surface 5. In the suction mouth 1 opens a suction port 6. This is formed as a window with a rectangular base and is located centrally between the ends of the suction mouth 1. On both sides of the suction mouth 1 depressions 7 are arranged, are inserted into the thread lifter strip 8. The thread lifter strip 8 suitably close to the ground flush with the surfaces of the Aufgleitschräge 4 and the sliding surface 5 at.

According to the presentation of the Fig. 1 extends the front suction mouth edge 2 without interruption as a straight edge over the entire working width A of the sole and limited at both ends of the suction mouth 1 designed for Randabsaugung end portion of the suction mouth 1. Between the front Aufgleitschräge 4 and the front Saugmundkante 2 is a horizontal plateau. 9 arranged, which extends at the level of the front suction mouth edge 2 with a constant width b over the entire length of the front suction mouth edge 2 parallel thereto. The plateau 9 has a width b between 2 mm and 5 mm. The recess 7 for a thread lifter strip 8 is formed in the Aufgleitschräge 4 and adjacent to the plateau 9 directly. The Aufgleitschräge 4 has an inclination between 5 ° and 7 °. Alternatively, it may also be formed as a spherically shaped surface.

The rear suction mouth edge 3 also extends without interruption over the entire working width A of the sole and limited at both ends of the suction mouth 1 designed for Randabsaugung end portion of the suction mouth 1. The arranged behind the suction mouth 1 in the working direction Sliding surface 5 in the exemplary embodiment has an inclination angle of approximately 6 ° and directly adjoins the rear suction mouth edge 3.

As shown in Fig. 1 the suction mouth 1 has a central suction mouth section delimiting from parallel suction mouth edges 2, 3 and adjoining tapered end sections. In the end sections, the rear suction mouth edge 3 is aligned obliquely to the front suction mouth edge 2 in plan view. The middle suction mouth section, in which the front suction mouth edge 2 and the rear suction mouth edge 3 are aligned parallel to one another, extends over more than 30% and preferably at least 60% of the working width of the sliding sole.

The channel depth a of the suction mouth 1 is less in the end portions than in the central suction mouth portion and changes continuously in a first region on both sides of the suction opening 6. The suction mouth 1 has a channel bottom 13, which is inclined in the first region on both sides of the suction opening 6. The inclination of the channel bottom 3 extends into the end portions of the suction mouth. Within the end sections, the channel depth a can change stepwise. The stage 14 inside the suction mouth is in Fig. 1 shown and also results from a comparative consideration of the sectional views in the 3 and 4 ,

The sectional views in the Fig. 2 to 4 It can also be seen that the channel forming the suction mouth 1 has an undercut 10 in the flow cross section along the rear suction mouth edge. The channel walls 11, 12 along the front suction mouth edge 2 and the rear suction mouth edge 3 may extend parallel to one another, so that the channel forming the suction mouth 1 has the shape of a parallelogram in cross section.
