Description

The present invention relates to a Staubsaugerbodendüse with a housing and at least one bristle strip, wherein the bristle strip occupy at least a first position and a second position, and wherein at least one display element depending on the position of the bristle strip by at least one breakthrough occurs in the housing, and wherein the display element is mechanically actuated.

Vacuum cleaners according to the prior art can in principle be divided into two different types:
  • In so-called canister vacuum cleaners, the motor, blower, filter unit and electronic devices are arranged in a housing, which is usually mounted on rollers. An often telescopically adjustable in length suction pipe is connected at one end by means of a flexible suction hose to the housing or the blower of the vacuum cleaner and has at its other end a floor nozzle, which comes into contact with the surface to be cleaned.

A second design form the so-called hand vacuum cleaner. In contrast to the cylinder vacuum cleaners here, the suction pipe is rigidly connected to the vacuum cleaner housing. Again, motor, blower, electrical and filter unit are arranged in the housing. This additionally has on the side opposite the suction pipe connection on an extension of the suction pipe mounted handle for handling.

By means of the floor nozzle, the negative pressure generated by the motor and blower is applied to the surfaces to be cleaned. These are usually either hard, smooth surfaces of floor coverings such as parquet, PVC, stone, etc., or textile surfaces such as carpets, furniture upholstery, etc. Here, the different nature of the surface partially conflicting demands on the functionality of floor nozzle. In structured, air-permeable surfaces, such as carpets, the best possible resting of the floor nozzle is desirable in order to achieve a deep and high suction effect. On smooth surfaces, on the other hand, the direct suction is often not enough to get stuck Remove dirt particles from the surface. In addition, there is, depending on the structural design, the risk of a fixed suction of the floor nozzle and thus possibly also a damage to the floor covering by scratching.

Floor nozzles according to the prior art, as this generic example, from the US 4,073,031 A are known, are therefore usually equipped with one or more bristle strips. These are arranged so that their bristles extend from the bottom of the floor nozzle, which contacts the surface to be cleaned, substantially perpendicular to the floor nozzle. Usually, these bristles are by means of a foot switch on the floor nozzle via a mechanism between an extended position in which the bristles protrude from the bottom of the floor nozzle and so can come into contact with the floor covering and optionally create a distance between the nozzle and floor covering, as well as a sunk Position in which they are essentially retracted without function in the floor nozzle, switchable.

In this way, a brushing action is exerted on the surface to be cleaned in the extended state and optionally by means of the bristle strip by the increased distance between the floor nozzle and surface a sufficiently large laterally entering the floor nozzle airflow and prevents seizing the floor nozzle or scratching the floor surface. In the retracted state, however, there is a sufficiently large negative pressure for the cleaning of textile surfaces available. Depending on the design of the mechanism, which is provided for extending or retracting the bristle strip, the process of switching is possibly associated with a relatively high expenditure of force. In any case, the process of cleaning the soil surface must be interrupted. This is particularly troublesome when frequently changing between different surfaces.

Im Übrigen sei noch auf die EP 2 065 651 A2 und die DE 92 00 692 U1 hingewiesen.Incidentally, it is still on the EP 2 065 651 A2 and the DE 92 00 692 U1 pointed.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle which at least partially overcomes the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art.

This object is achieved with the features of independent claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are indicated in the dependent claims.

The invention is based on the generic Staubsaugerbodendüse first by the fact that at least one display element occurs in dependence on the position of the bristle strip by at least one breakthrough in the housing. Furthermore, the display element is mechanically actuated. In this case, in particular the mechanical movements of the bristle strip, other parts of the Staubsaugerbodendüse or the entire Staubsaugerbodendüse itself be resorted to.

According to the invention the display element is integrally connected to the bristle strip. This represents a particularly cost-effective and easy-to-implement operation possibility of the display element. In particular, can be dispensed with as an additional actuator of the display element, since a change in position of the bristle bar converts directly into a movement of the display element.

As a rule, a position of the brush strip corresponds to a retracted state, in which the brush strip is essentially functionless. This condition is usually used for vacuuming carpets. Another position in which the bristle strip is extended, is used due to the brushing action of the bristle strip, especially on smooth surfaces. The passage of a display element through an opening in the housing of the Staubsaugerbodendüse allows a well and intuitively based on recognizable display of the current position of the bristle strip. For example, the display element can be designed such that it imitates a carpet in appearance. This can be achieved for example by a suitable symbolism, but also by the nature of the passing display element. Thus, a particularly intuitive perception of the automatic switching of the bristle strip can be realized.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are indicated in the dependent claims.

In one embodiment, it can be advantageously provided that the opening is molded onto the housing. In this case, the breakthrough can be integrally formed, for example by means of a Ultraschallverschweißung to the upper shell.
If necessary, it can also be clipped or consist of several parts.

In a particularly preferred embodiment it is provided that the change between the first position and the second position takes place automatically. This frees the operator of the Staubsaugerbodendüse of otherwise necessary switching the bristle strip and allows a fluid and efficient workflow.

The invention is based on the finding that it is advantageous in an automatic change of the bristle strip of a Staubsaugerbodendüse between a retracted and an extended position to display the current position of the bristle strip on the top of the Staubsaugerbodendüse. It is advantageous if the display element as intuitively displays the current position of the bristle strip. By passing, for example, a display element symbolizing a carpet through the housing, the user is made aware of the perception of the instantaneous position of the bristle strip. The invention can be used in all common types of vacuum cleaner.

The invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of particularly preferred embodiments.

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a vacuum cleaner floor according to the invention 10. This has essentially a housing 11, which is divided into an upper shell 12 and a lower housing part 13. Furthermore, a suction pipe connection 15 and a bristle strip 14 (see FIG. 2 ) intended. In the upper shell 12, an indication of the current position of the bristle strip 14 is integrated. This has a plurality of openings 18. The apertures 18 having area is integrally formed on the upper shell 12. This can be done for example by clipping or ultrasonic welding. Through the openings 18, the display element 20 occurs in the in FIG. 1 a position shown, it is located within the upper shell 12, in FIG. 1 b, however, it has passed through the apertures 18 and shows up on the surface of the upper shell 12. The display element 20 is mechanically connected directly to the bristle strip 14. This is more detailed in FIG. 2 shown.

FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of the Staubsaugerbodendüse 10 according to the invention according to the FIGS. 1 a and 1 b. The housing 11 is divided into upper shell 12 and lower housing part 13. The bristle strip 14 is shown in the position intended for carpets, that is, in the retracted position. The bristle strip 14 is connected to the display element 20 by means of a carrier element 22. This is shown outstanding because of the corresponding position of the bristle strip 14 as from the upper shell 12. In this case, the display element 20 passes through the openings 18. On hard floor, the bristle strip 14 moves downward. This movement is transmitted via the carrier element 22 to the display element 20, which consequently retracts into the upper shell 12. In this way, the display element 20 is no longer visible on the surface of the upper shell 12.

In the FIGS. 3a and 3b an alternative embodiment of the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle 10 according to the invention is shown. This differs essentially only in the embodiment of the display element 18. Instead of a carpet symbol, as in the FIGS. 1a to 2 is shown here, the structure of a carpet is imitated.

The features of the invention disclosed in the foregoing description, in the drawings and in the claims may be essential to the realization of the invention either individually or in any combination.
