Zum einen wird hierdurch der Wirkungsgrad des Wärmetauschers bei gegebenen Abmessungen ungünstig beeinflußt. Zum anderen ermöglichen solche Bereiche von annähernd stehendem Medium die Ablagerung von mitgeführten Partikeln und die Agglomeration zu großvolumigen Ablagerungen. Ein spontanes Lösen solcher größerer Ablagerungen kann sich schädlich auf ein Gesamtsystem auswirken, beispielsweise wenn der Wärmetauscher ein Ölkühler eines Kraftfahrzeugmotors ist.   1. A plate element for a plate cooler, comprising
