Claims (5)

  1. Baking oven (1) comprising a baking muffle (2) and a cross-flow fan (3) having a fan wheel (8), the cross-flow fan (3), together with a connected cooling air duct (4), generating a cooling air stream, which is carried away to the outside, and a vapour exhaust duct (6) opening into the cooling air duct (4), through which vapour exhaust duct the vapour can be evacuated from the baking muffle (2), the cross-flow fan (3) having an exhaust region (7), characterised in that an exhaust area (A, ..., D) develops in the external-surface region (12) of the cross-flow fan (3) in the vicinity of the exhaust region (7) when the fan wheel (8) is at a minimum speed, in which area the opening region (5) of the vapour exhaust duct (6) is located.
  2. Baking oven according to claim 1, characterised in that the housing of the cross-flow fan (3) has a suction opening (10) in the vicinity of the exhaust region (7), to which opening the vapour exhaust duct (6) is coupled.
  3. Baking oven according to claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the opening region (5) is arranged downstream of the fan wheel (8) in the flow direction of the cooling air stream.
  4. Baking oven according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that an exhaust air duct (9) for carrying away the mixed air stream made up of cooling air and vapour is connected to the exhaust region (7) of the cross-flow fan (3).
  5. Baking oven according to claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cross-flow fan (3) having the suction opening (10) for the opening region (5) of the vapour exhaust duct (6) is arranged on an assembly part (11), the assembly part (11) having an opening for this purpose.
