Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for cleaning and drying items to be washed in a dishwashing machine, in particular in a dishwasher, which comprises the program sections cleaning, rinsing and drying, wherein the drying result affects influencing environmental variables and depending on this as the drying result influencing parameters the amount of rinse in the Adjusted rinse aid used in the program section and / or the final temperature of the rinse aid used in the rinse program section.
- the invention thus raises the problem to disclose a method for cleaning and drying items of the type mentioned, in which the duration of the drying program section can be kept within predetermined limits and thus short program runtimes are possible.
- the advantages that can be achieved with the invention consist in being able to influence, in addition to the duration of drying, further parameters which enable a rapid achievement of a satisfactory drying result.
- the energy consumption can be reduced or at least kept constant. It is detected as an environment variable, the air temperature at the installation of the dishwasher.
- this is an important influencing factor for the drying result, since in cold ambient air, especially in drying systems with condensation drying faster cooling of the air from the washing and thus faster condensation is achieved. Alternatively, this would be the temperature of the cooling water in air-water heat exchangers.
- At least one sensor can be advantageously used for temperature detection, with which in addition to the air temperature and the liquor temperature is measured, wherein the determination of the air temperature takes place at a time at which the sensor is not yet subjected to cleaning liquor.
- existing sensors are used, the installation of additional sensors is not necessary.
- the heat storage capacity of the items to be washed is detected as a further environment variable.
- the heat storage capacity of the items to be washed is a significant influencing factor on the drying result.
- the items to be washed absorb heat energy from the liquor heated in the rinse program section and store them, thereby accelerating the drying.
- the heat storage capacity of the items to be washed can be detected by determining the temperature rise rate of the liquor at the beginning of a program period with heated liquor. It is advantageous to detect the temperature rise rate of the rinse aid liquor during the rinse program section, since in this program section a heating to a sufficiently high temperature takes place with each cleaning program. It goes without saying that the detection of the temperature rise rate must be completed at the latest by the time at which the final rinse aid amount and / or the final rinse liquor temperature is decided.
- the duration of the drying program section is set as a further parameter.
- optimum drying conditions that is, a low room / cooling water temperature and a high Spülgut- heat storage capacity, can be reacted with a shortening of the drying time.
- an extension of the drying time can take place. However, this increase should not exceed a given maximum duration in order to avoid too long program durations. It is particularly advantageous if the specification of the limit range is carried out by the user.
- the invention is based in the described embodiment of an electronically programmable dishwasher 1, which in the FIG. 1 is shown in cross section with simplified components.
- the washing programs that can be selected manually or automatically in this dishwashing machine each have program sections, such as pre-rinsing, cleaning, intermediate rinsing and rinsing, the pre-rinsing and / or intermediate rinsing being activated or additionally controlled depending on the degree of soiling of the dishes or rinsing liquid loaded in the machine can be. After the last rinse program section is followed regularly a drying program section.
- Such dishwashers belong to the general state of the art and essentially comprise components and accessories, as shown in simplified form in the illustrated domestic appliance. On the concrete representation of only The program control P of the device shown by way of example as a block diagram has been omitted for the sake of clarity.
- the designated 1 and shown schematically front-loading domestic dishwasher has a washing container 2 and a plurality of spray arms 3, 4, 5, which are arranged above and between dish racks 6, 7 and a separate cutlery basket 8 in different rinsing levels in the washing.
- the spray arms 3, 4, 5 are fed via associated supply lines 11, 12 from the circulating rinsing liquid of an upstream circulating pump 9, wherein the rinsing liquid in the rinsing operation constantly flows back into the collecting pot 10 and circulates from there again.
- the washing liquid supplied to the washing container 2 for dishwashing via a fresh water connection 13 is controlled as far as possible by the amount of dishes to be cleaned.
- to be supplied in flushing Spülwassermengen or liquid change and self-adjusting dishwashing dependent.
- rinsing water contaminations which result, for example, from dirt particles which are difficult or impossible to dissolve, such as spinach residues or the like, which "float" in the rinsing liquid, can have a negative effect on the rinsing result.
- the dishwasher 1 has an optical sensor in the form of a known turbidity sensor 15, which is connected to the program control P at predetermined times in the aforementioned program sections, such as pre-rinsing, cleaning and / or intermediate rinsing, for example, after the supply of fresh water in the rinsing tank 2 each determines the turbidity of the moving rinsing liquid and provides a measurement signal corresponding to the determined degree of contamination.
- a known turbidity sensor 15 which is connected to the program control P at predetermined times in the aforementioned program sections, such as pre-rinsing, cleaning and / or intermediate rinsing, for example, after the supply of fresh water in the rinsing tank 2 each determines the turbidity of the moving rinsing liquid and provides a measurement signal corresponding to the determined degree of contamination.
- the turbidity sensor 15 which consists of a light-emitting element LED LED, as well as a light-receiving element phototransistor, disposed within a measuring zone 14 through which the flushing liquid to be sensed for contamination flow, ie. H. with moderate movement, is passed.
- an NTC 16 is arranged as a temperature sensor on the turbidity sensor 15.
- Another NTC 17 is arranged in the collecting pot 10 and serves during the water-bearing program sections for detecting the temperature of the liquid located there, which is then controlled by the program control.
- the washing container 2 is characterized by a in FIG. 2 shown, pivotable door 18 closed, on the inside of a Kombidosier réelle 19 is arranged.
- the Kombidosier réelle 19 programmatically allows the addition of detergent and rinse aid (not shown) to the washing 2.
- the program control P in the cleaning program section opens electromagnetically the shutter 20 of a cleaner compartment 21, so that previously filled powder or tablet-shaped cleaner falls into the washing compartment 2.
- a predetermined amount of rinse aid is dispensed from a storage tank 22 through an addition opening 23 into the rinsing tank 2 by opening a dosing valve, not shown, also by the program control P.
- the amount of rinse aid can be varied over the opening time of the valve.
- the illustrated dishwasher 1 further has a device for drying the rinsed dishes.
- a drying device leads the moist process air from the washing through a water-cooled heat exchanger.
- a dishwasher with such a device is out of the DE 100 22 088 A1 known and not described here.
- Another variant of the drying is from the DE 38 31 364 A1 known, here the Spül notionerwand is used as a condensation surface and acted upon with cold outside air.
- the moist process air symbolized by the filled arrows 24, on the condensation surface 25 of a separate air-to-air heat exchanger 26 (see also FIG. 3 ) passed by.
- the cooling of this surface 25 is effected by air from the installation area of the dishwasher 1, symbolized in the drawing by the unfilled arrows 27.
- the heat exchanger 26 is formed by a laterally arranged next to the washing tank 2 two-part air duct 28, the partition is widened in the central portion to the condensation surface 25.
- the two halves 30 and 31 of the air duct inlet 29 are connected to the also two-piece outlet 32 of a double blower 33.
- the blower 33 sucks in the first blower wheel 34 via a first intake pipe 36 cooling air 27 from the installation area of the dishwasher 1 at.
- the second impeller 35 is connected via a second intake 37 with the lower portion of the washing container 2 and sucks from there the moisture-laden process air 24 at.
- the two halves of the air duct 28 the one which carries the process air 24 is connected to the upper region of the washing compartment 2; This results in a closed process air cycle.
- the cooling air 27 leading half of the air channel 28 terminates in the upper region of the housing 38 of the dishwasher. 1
- the inventive method described below for cleaning and drying items 38 is performed.
- the aim of this method is to detect environmental variables that influence the drying result and to set parameters that influence the drying result, depending on these variables.
- An important influence on the drying result has the temperature of the cooling air, ie the air temperature at the installation of the dishwasher, hereinafter referred to as room temperature T R.
- the Room temperature T R is measured by means of the two temperature sensors present in the device, the NTCs 16 and 17. This is done at the beginning of the cleaning program before the first water inlet, because at this time none of the NTC's 16 and 17 is acted upon by cleaning liquor.
- the measurement results of the two sensors are averaged, then a plausibility check is performed. If the averaged result lies above a plausible maximum temperature of approx. 40 ° C, it can be concluded that the waterways were still heated by a program that had just been carried out shortly before. In this case, a default value for the room temperature T R is used instead of the measurement result.
- the temperature T K of the cooling water must be determined instead of the room temperature T R. This corresponds to the temperature of the incoming water from the fresh water connection 13 and can be measured by the two aforementioned sensors 16 and 17 after the water inlet at the beginning of the cleaning program section.
- the cleaning program section is carried out, optionally with preliminary and intermediate rinsing.
- the rinse follows. In this case, water runs into the washing container 2, to which a basic amount of, for example, 3 ml of rinse aid is added.
- the heat storage capacity of the Spülguts 39 located in the washing container 2 is determined. This depends on the amount of items to be washed, but also on its condition.
- the items to be washed 39 can store the heat from the heated liquor over a longer period of time, thereby increasing the ability of the air to absorb moisture; Porcelain and glass have good storage properties, plastic less good.
- a good measure of the heat storage capacity of the dishes is the speed of the temperature rise of the liquor in program sections where it is heated. Since liquor temperatures are reached in the rinse program section, which are at 60 ° C, there is no longer the influence of a hot water connection there.
- the time duration ⁇ t H required in the final rinse program section to measure the liquor temperature from a first value (about 45 ° C, preferably 47 ° C) to a second value (about 55 ° C, preferably 57 ° C) is measured C) increase.
- a normalization factor is included, which depends on the output heating power. The latter can be calculated from the mains voltage measured at the beginning of the rinsing section and from the resistance value of the heating determined during the production of the dishwasher in the band end test.
- the fan runtime is initially extended. This is done in favor of a low final temperature of the rinse aid liquor and thus in favor of low energy consumption. Only in poor environmental conditions, which would cause unacceptable running times, the final temperature of the rinse aid liquor are increased and rinse aid is replenished. If a "short" program is selected in which the user places emphasis on short program run times, the final rinse liquor temperature is first increased and rinse aid replenished, and in the case of poor ambient conditions, the blower runtime is also extended. In any case, a variation of the running time takes place within a predetermined limit range, in the case of a "normal” program this range is between 17 and 35 minutes, for a "short” program between 10 and 23 minutes.

Description
- Figur 1
- eine programmgesteuerte Geschirrspülmaschine mit Trocknungseinrichtung;
- Figur 2
- die Türinnenseite der Geschirrspülmaschine;
- Figur 3
- die Trocknungszeit soll sich nicht verlängern;
- die Trocknungszeit soll verkürzt werden;
- es soll nicht mehr Energie verbraucht werden;
- die Klarspülermenge soll 6 ml nicht überschreiten
- ...
