Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile floor-cleaning appliance having a housing in which a cleaning tool is mounted, and having a handle holder which is mounted on the housing and is adapted to be connected to a handle in order to guide the appliance along a floor surface which is to be cleaned. In order to develop the mobile floor-cleaning appliance such that the handle holder can be reliably arrested in a rest position and can easily be transferred from the rest position into an operating position, it is proposed according to the invention that the handle holder is adapted to be pivoted about two pivot axes oriented obliquely or perpendicularly in relation to one another and is adapted to be arrested in a rest position, at least one arresting element being associated with each of the two pivot axes, for arresting the handle holder, wherein it is possible to eliminate the arresting action on the handle holder in relation to the two pivot axes by virtue of the handle holder being pivoted as desired out of the rest position about one of the two pivot axes.

Description

The invention relates to a mobile floor cleaning device with a housing in which a cleaning tool is held, and with a handle mounted on the housing handle, which is connectable with a handle for guiding the floor cleaning device along a floor surface to be cleaned.
By means of such floor cleaning devices, a floor surface can be easily cleaned by the device is guided along the bottom surface. To guide the device along the bottom surface of this has a handle which is mounted on a handle holder on the housing of the floor cleaning device. The floor cleaning device can be configured, for example, as a mobile sweeping device, wherein a rotationally driven brush roller is mounted in the housing and a dirt collecting container of the brush roller is disposed adjacent, so that the preferably powered by an electric motor brush roller can pick up dirt from the bottom surface, which is transferred to the dirt collecting , Such sweepers are known for example from DE 299 13 845 Ul.
In particular for the storage of the floor cleaning appliance, it is advantageous if the handle holder and the handle connected thereto can be locked in a rest position with a predetermined orientation, in particular with a vertical orientation.
For storage of a handle holder on the housing of a cleaning device, a universal joint is proposed in DE 299 03 196 Ul Ul, with the help of the Handle holder can be pivoted about two pivot axes aligned perpendicular to each other. In addition, the handle holder can be locked in a rest position with vertical alignment. For this purpose, it has at its end facing the housing a latching projection which can be inserted into a corresponding latching receptacle of the housing. Both for releasing and for producing the locking a considerable force is required.
Object of the present invention is to develop a mobile floor cleaning device of the type mentioned in such a way that the handle holder can be reliably locked in a rest position and transferred in a simple manner from the rest position to a working position.
This object is achieved in a mobile floor cleaning device of the generic type according to the invention that the handle holder is pivotally mounted about two obliquely or perpendicularly aligned pivot axes on the housing and can be locked in a rest position, each of the two pivot axes for locking the handle holder assigned at least one locking element is and by any pivoting of the handle holder from the rest position about one of the two pivot axes, the locking of the handle holder with respect to both pivot axes can be canceled.
The locking of the handle holder in its rest position takes place in the inventive floor cleaning device with the help of at least two locking elements, which are each associated with a pivot axis. The locking elements lock the handle holder in its rest position in each case with respect to their associated pivot axis, that is at least a first Arretie- In the rest position of the handle holder, the locking element prevents it from pivoting about a first pivot axis, and at least one second locking element prevents it from pivoting about a second pivot axis in the rest position of the handle holder. Overall, this makes it possible to achieve a reliable, mechanically loadable locking of the handle holder in its rest position. If the stem holder to be transferred to a working position, so it is only necessary to swing out the stem holder about one of the two pivot axes from the rest position. This Ausschwenkbewegung then has the consequence that the lock is released with respect to both pivot axes. The sweeping device according to the invention is thus characterized by a very simple handling.
It is advantageous if the locking elements in the rest position of the handle holder are engaged with a holding member arranged between the locking elements, wherein the locking elements release the holding member by pivoting the handle holder from the rest position. Due to the interaction of the locking elements with the holding part of the handle holder can be aligned in its rest position in a fixed, predetermined angle to the housing. The locking elements are in this case with the holding part in engagement. If the stem holder is pivoted out of the rest position, then the locking elements release the holding part, so that the locking of the handle holder is released.
It is advantageous if at least one locking element in the rest position of the handle holder is resiliently biased in the direction of the holding part. For biasing at least one locking element can be acted upon by means of a compression spring with a force in the direction of the holding part. Extension number The strength of the compression spring can thus be set in a structurally simple manner, the force required for locking force.
Alternatively or additionally, it may be provided that the holding part is resiliently biased in the rest position of the handle holder in the direction of at least one locking element.
In an economically producible and structurally simple embodiment, the holding part is arranged in the rest position of the handle holder between the locking elements. The holding element may be formed, for example, pin or pin-shaped, wherein in the rest position of the handle holder at the opposite ends of the holding member in each case bears at least one locking element. In particular, it can be provided that in each case a locking element is applied to the end faces of the holding part, so that the two locking elements are aligned in the rest position of the handle holder in alignment with each other. By pivoting the handle holder from its rest position, the aligned arrangement of the two locking elements can be abandoned, both locking elements with the holding member arranged between them disengage, so that the locking of the handle holder is abandoned.
Preferably, the holding part is pivotable about one of the two pivot axes together with the handle holder and at least one locking element is held non-pivotable with respect to this pivot axis. As a result, the holding part can be moved in a simple manner by pivoting the handle holder relative to at least one locking element. To produce the locking, the holding part together with the handle holder in a position be brought, in which the at least one locking element engages with the holding part in engagement and thereby blocks the movement around the pivot axis associated with the locking element.
It is advantageous if at least one locking element is pivotable about one of the pivot axes together with the handle holder and the retaining element is held non-pivotable with respect to this pivot axis. The at least one locking element can thus be transferred together with the handle holder in a position in which it comes into engagement with the holding part, so that a movement of the handle holder is locked to the locking element associated pivot axis.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the holding part is held displaceably transversely to this pivot axis in a pivot piece mounted pivotably about one of the two pivot axes. The joint piece, for example, be mounted on the upper side of the housing of the sweeping device pivotable about a first pivot axis. Preferably, the first pivot axis is aligned perpendicular to the main direction of movement of the floor cleaning device. On the joint piece, the holding part is held displaceably transversely to the first pivot axis. It can thus be pivoted together with the hinge piece about the pivot axis and in addition it can be moved perpendicular to the pivot axis.
In a structurally simple embodiment, the holding part is designed as a sleeve. It is advantageous if the locking elements each have a in the rest position of the handle holder dipping into a receptacle of the holding part ball portion. In particular, the locking elements may be formed as balls, for example as steel balls.
Preferably, at least one locking element is fixed to the handle holder. It may for example be held in a recess of the handle holder, in particular it may be pressed into the recess. The recess may be formed in the handle holder.
It is advantageous if the recess is formed in an arcuate end face of the handle holder.
It is advantageous if the arcuate end face is configured concentrically to a pivot axis of the handle holder. As a result, a constant distance between the end face of the handle holder and the other pivot axis can be ensured during pivoting of the handle holder about this pivot axis.
In a preferred embodiment, at least one locking element is held non-pivotably on the housing of the sweeper. By pivoting the handle holder in its rest position then this locking element can block further movement of the handle holder to the locking element associated pivot axis.
The at least one locking element held on the housing of the sweeping device is expediently arranged together with a spring in a receiving part. orders, wherein the spring acts on the locking element with a force in the direction of the holding part. The spring can be supported on a support surface of the receiving part and act on the locking element with a spring force for fixing the holding part and thus for locking the handle holder in its rest position.
Preferably, the receiving part has a stop which limits the movement of the locking element in the direction of the holding part. This ensures in a structurally simple manner that the locking element can indeed be acted upon in the direction of the holding part with a spring force, so that the handle holder is reliably locked in its rest position, but the handle holder is pivoted into a working position, the locking element is the holding part free, where it can then come to the stop to the plant. The locking element is thus held captive in the receiving part.
The receiving part may for example be designed as a socket which is positioned in a recess of the housing. As low it has been proven to produce the bushing made of metal, preferably made of brass.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the mobile floor cleaning device is designed as a sweeping device, wherein the cleaning tool is designed as a rotatably mounted in the housing brush roller and a dirt collecting container of the brush roller is arranged adjacent. It is favorable in this case if the brush roller can be set in rotation by an electric motor. It is particularly advantageous if the sweeping device comprises a rechargeable battery for powering the The electric motor. Preferably, the handle holder is then articulated in a region between the battery and the brush roller on the housing. It has been shown that thereby the leadership of the sweeper can be simplified along the floor surface to be swept.
Es zeigen:The following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention serves in conjunction with the drawings for further explanation. Show it:
Figur 1: eine perspektivische Darstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen Bodenreinigungsgeräts;Figure 1: a perspective view of a floor cleaning device according to the invention;
Figur 2: eine Schnittansicht längs der Linie 2-2 in Figur 1;Figure 2 is a sectional view taken along the line 2-2 in Figure 1;
Figur 3: eine Schnittansicht längs der Linie 3-3 in Figur 1.3 shows a sectional view along the line 3-3 in Figure 1.
In the drawing, a generally designated by the reference numeral 10 floor cleaning device in the form of a mobile sweeping device is shown with a housing 12 which includes a housing bottom 13 and a housing upper part 14. On the lower housing part 13, two wheels 17, 18 are freely rotatable about a common axis of rotation 16. At a distance from the wheels 17, 18 of an end face 19 of the housing 12 adjacent two support rollers are freely rotatably mounted about a parallel to the rotation axis 16 rotatable axis of rotation, wherein in the drawing, only one support roller 20 can be seen.
Within the housing 12 a recognizable in Figure 3 brush roller 22 is rotatably mounted about an aligned parallel to the axis of rotation 16 axis of rotation, the cooperates via a known per se and therefore not shown in the drawing belt drive with an electric motor, which is known in the art and therefore is not shown to achieve a better overview. The power supply of the electric motor by means of a rechargeable battery 23, and with the aid of a top side of the housing upper part 14 arranged switch 24, the electric motor can be switched on and off. The housing 12 also accommodates a dirt collecting container 26 which, in the manner of a drawer, can be pushed into the housing 12 on the rear side 28 of the housing 12 facing away from the front side 19 and can be releasably latched thereto. The dirt collecting container 26 has a dirt inlet opening 30, which is arranged adjacent to the brush roller 22. Dirt that has been swept by the brush roller 22 from the bottom surface to be cleaned, can thus be transferred via the dirt inlet opening 30 in the dirt collecting 26.
To guide the sweeping device 10 along the bottom surface to be cleaned, the sweeping device 10 has a handle holder 32, in which a known per se and therefore not shown in the drawing stem can be used and which is held by a universal joint 34 on the upper side of the housing top 14. The universal joint 34 allows a pivoting movement of the handle holder about a first, perpendicular to the main movement direction 36 and thus parallel to the axis of rotation 16 of the wheels 17, 18 aligned pivot axis 38, and a pivoting movement about a second pivot axis 40, which in the illustrated embodiment perpendicular to the first pivot axis 38th runs and is arranged at a distance to this. As is clear in particular from Figure 2, the universal joint 34 has a hinge piece 42 with two opposite, aligned to the first pivot axis 38 blind holes 44, 45, in each of which a hinge pin 46 and 47 is arranged, with his on the joint piece 42 outwardly projecting end portion 49 and 50 in an associated bearing recess 52 and 53 of the housing upper part 14 is immersed. By means of a compression spring 55 or 56, which is arranged in the respective blind bore 44 or 45, the hinge pins 46 and 47 in the associated Lageraus- recesses 52 and 53 are pressed.
The hinge piece 42 is mounted on the housing upper part 14 so as to be pivotable about the first pivot axis 38 by means of the hinge pins 46, 47.
Between the two blind holes 44 and 45, the joint piece 42 has a perpendicular to the first pivot axis 38 aligned through hole 58, which widens in the upper housing 14 remote from the direction of a step 59. The through hole 58 receives a holding part in the form of a sleeve 61, which is slidably held in the through hole 58 and is made of a metal or a high-quality plastic.
The through hole 58 opens on its side facing away from the upper housing part 14 end side into a receiving space 63 of the joint piece 42 which receives an end piece 65 of the handle holder 32. The handle holder 32 is articulated in the region of the receiving space 63 about the second pivot axis 40 pivotally connected to the joint piece 42. The sleeve 61 facing end surface 67 of the handle holder 32 is circular arc and concentric with the second pivot axis 40 configured. Escaping to a longitudinal axis 69 of the handle holder 32 is formed in the end face 67 a recess 70, in which a first locking element in the form of a first locking ball 72 is pressed. This protrudes with a ball portion on the recess 70 in the direction of the sleeve 61.
The handle holder 32 is shown in Figure 1 in a working position in which it is freely pivotable about the two pivot axes 38, 40. Figures 2 and 3 show the handle holder 32 in a rest position in which it is locked with a predetermined orientation, in the illustrated embodiment with a vertical orientation. In the rest position, the longitudinal axis 69 of the handle holder 32 is aligned with the axis 74 of a cylindrical housing recess 75 of the upper housing part 14, in which a cylindrical receiving part 77 is pressed. The receiving part 77 receives a compression spring 78 and a second locking element in the form of a second locking ball 79. The second locking ball 79 is in this case acted upon by the compression spring 78 with a spring force in the direction of the sleeve 61. A radially inwardly directed edge 81 on the sleeve 61 facing the end face of the receiving part 77 forms a stop on which the second Arretierungskugel 79 abuts when the handle holder 32 occupies a working position.
In the rest position of the handle holder 32, the two locking balls 72 and 79 are aligned with each other and are engaged with the sleeve 61 in engagement. The second locking ball 79 is biased by the compression spring 78 in the direction of the sleeve 61, which transmits the spring force to the first Arretierungskugel 72, so that overall results in a stable position of the handle holder 32, as shown in Figures 2 and 3 , If the handle holder 32 is pivoted about its first pivot axis 38, starting from its rest position, then the second locking ball 79 disengages from the sleeve 61 and bears against the rim 81 due to the spring force acting on it. Due to its weight, then the sleeve 61 moves within the through hole 58 so far down until it abuts with a second detent ball 79 facing away from the collar 83 on the step 59 of the through hole 58. To compensate for manufacturing tolerances may be arranged between the collar 83 and the step 59, a spring which is compressed by the weight of the sleeve 61. The movement of the sleeve 61 has the consequence that the sleeve 61 is also disengaged from the first locking ball 72 and thus the locking of the handle holder 32 is canceled both with respect to its first pivot axis 38 and its second pivot axis 40. The handle holder 32 can now assume any working position and is freely pivotable about the pivot axes 38, 40.
If the handle holder 32 is pivoted from its rest position about the second pivot axis 40, so the pressed into the recess 70 first Arretierungskugel 72, the sleeve 61 free, which then due to the force acting on the compression spring 78 via the second Arretierungskugel 79 spring force within the through hole 58 moves so far up until it rests against the arcuate end surface 67 of the handle holder 32. The second locking ball 79 in this case moves to the edge 81. This prevents further loading of the sleeve 61 with a force from the compression spring 78. Thus, when pivoting the handle holder 32 from its rest position about the second pivot axis 40 and the Arretierungs tion of the handle holder lifted around the first pivot axis 38. The handle holder 32 can now assume any working position.
From the above it is clear that the handle holder 32 can be reliably locked in its rest position by means of the Arretierungskugeln 72 and 79, which each ensure the locking of the handle holder 32 with respect to one of the two pivot axes 38 and 40. By simply swinging out of the rest position about the first or the second pivot axis 38 and 40, the lock with respect to both pivot axes 38 and 40 can be solved in a simple manner again.
